I no longer go to the Publix on 717 North 14th street in Leesburg Fl 34748 this is the worse Publix there is place an order for 4 24oz. Siggi's skyr 4% fat in around January I waited for two months no one call me to let me know if they where able to order or not, I stop at the store asking if they place the order , the person at the customer service told me there's no record of any order, so I stopped at the Publix on Lake Deaton Plaza 695 Kristine Way the Villages Fl 32163 and place an other order for the same 4 24oz Siggi's 4% fat , this time was on 3/18/2026 same thing happen , but this time I have a copy for the special order , the young man was Josiah Habel, so I guess not going to any Publix anymore !!!!!!! Publix has gone dawn hill!!.

The last 3 or 4 times I've had the ribeye steaks. They have absolutely no flavor in them. They used to be so good. I think they changed. Who they were buying their meat from, but they need to go back where they were at, I'll buy my meat from wind Dixie, there still has good flavor in it. You get what you pay for sometimes you try cutting a corner and you lose your customers, it's a bummer cause I used to like public meet, but it sure has gone downhill.Last couple months

Outstanding Customer Experience with Ms. Julie who is a true customer service personnel. She is an Expert, and knows how to handle customers.. Or if there is any discrepancy...she can resolve quickly, swiftly and super great skills. She is a great asset in the Customer service.. She always picks the call with smiling tone on it.. Amazing.. It is rare to find people like her.. I would definitely recommend such person across Publix store.. She is a great example.. I would definitely update the GM and District manager for this store. Today is not the first day.. Way back also she traveled extra miles for customers..now we knows...since i am a regular to this Publix way back like 23 years Mark Witt Super great GM.......he retired 15 years ago i believe
DJ is a true example of General manager..lot of store managers might have an attitude around the glob.. DJ is a GM...he is down to earth, humble, highly effective & highly skilled. He knows the job how to run a store... He really cares for customers and employees. He went out of the way before going to India i believe...it might be 1.5 months or 2 months back..without his help, i would have lost my cellphone... lot of others, just do not go out of the way like him...even one or two managers at that time.. He is the most effective, highly helpful and cares..He is a great Asset to Publix corporation.. I am so thankful..This is a long due..as i do not want to put all things happened in my life..it is not appropriate or wasting your time on this.. Ensure his upper District Director gets this message or i am happy to send by email directly to him/her. He is a true example of how a GM should function.. he does not get upset or get stressed to run here and there.. Very calm, composed, helpful, educated and ethical in his doings as per Publix policy

The Store used to be beautiful, now, the parking lot smell like piss, people asking for money and the store itself is small, produce is pretty bad quality, they don't even have Artisians Breads, Salads with small portions of chicken, mostly lettuce. They blame it on the Bus Station, but they can easily have someone watch the parking lot. We drive High End cars and this just doesn't fit in. They should close the Store since they can't deliver to a High End Clientele

I bought the new cheesecake with carrot cake on the bottom. It is too much cheesecake with little carrot cake on bottom. Thank goodness it was on sale. You have better like cheesecake!!!!

This review is concerning the public deli section. What has happened to the hot deli in Publix. I shop the Melbourne Fla Publix in the Melbourne shopping center. The hot food and fried chicken area has not been good for quite some time now. They don't keep it looking fresh often bins on that replenished. They have raised their prices understandably, but in addition, they have shrunk their portions yesterday I went for the mixed fried chicken. It was the worst I ever had. The pieces were so small. You could not even tell if you were getting breast or chicken thighs, the legs and wings were tiny. Unable to tell between a thigh and a breast, not even thinking I got breast the legs and the wings were tiny, the chicken was overcooked because I think they keep the time of the same, and the pieces are extremely small. I understand paying more today with inflation, but for Publix a quality supermarket shrinking portion sizes is bad business. You used to get a box of fried chicken and it'd be full not even close now. Very very disappointed. In addition, the same as happened to their chicken tenders. And the side portions have become extremely small.I will no longer use their hot deli.

I am writing again because my concerns have not been acknowledged or addressed. Publix shut down Publix Pay with only 10 days’ notice, and I currently have over $100 trapped in the app. To this day, no one at any Publix store can tell me how to access my money, and the company has provided zero clear instructions on what customers are supposed to do.
Your previous response was a form letter that did not address any of my actual questions. This is unacceptable for a company of Publix’s size, especially when customers’ money is involved.
Let me be extremely clear:

I need to know exactly how to retrieve the funds remaining in my Publix Pay account.
I need a step‑by‑step process, not general statements or corporate language.
I need to know why customers were notified only 10 days before eliminating a payment method involving stored balances.
I need to know why store personnel have no information or guidance on this issue.

If Publix has decided to eliminate this service, it is your responsibility to provide customers with a clear and accessible method to access the money that belongs to them. Right now, Publix has left customers without answers, without support, and without access to their own funds.
I expect a real response, not a template.
I also expect immediate instructions on how to recover my money.
If I do not receive a satisfactory and direct answer, I will escalate this issue to Publix Corporate, the Florida Attorney General, and the Better Business Bureau, as this situation involves the handling of consumer funds without transparency or clear recourse.
I look forward to your prompt and substantive reply.

I spend 250 to 300 per week at publix on Groceries alone. I have purchased several apple gift cards from 4 different publix locations. Every time I by a card. I am interrogated as to who its for? Do you know his person. They make me feel like a criminal. A) its none of your business who i buy them for,2)it needs to STOP!!

I generally have a great experience at the hueytown location but here lately I've had bad experience with the peanut butter cookies, when I look at the cookies through the plastic container the peanut butter cookies are over baked, they are darker than normal and they are not as good as the lighter ones, please be consistent with my peanut butter cookies because I turn into a cookie monster when they are not perfect 😀 Can you please watch my cookies and stop getting on Facebook or Instagram while baking, good lord, do I need to come up there and do the job of baking cookies. I stopped in to do some shopping today at store number 1372 on Bay street in Sarasota FL after checked out I realized that the bagger did a terrible thing which is unacceptable when she packed my groceries mixed between frozen food ,with fresh veggies also pack of raw chicken together and the worst thing was she packed chemical with food I was really upset about this issue which is they should have trained about how to packing the items appropriate not to stuff everything in one bag trying to save bags for company I meant it was horrible experience I never had it before ...
Very unpleasure shopping today from now on I have to give my attention on this bagger service when I shopping there again they should have giving the employees training before put them down on the floor

I’ve been a Publix shopper for many years, and the decline hasn’t been recent — it has been happening for a long time. Prices on everyday essentials have climbed to the point where it feels like price gouging. A simple example: a bottle of Publix-brand water has gone up 26 cents in about a month, and that’s just one item. This pattern is happening across the basic products customers rely on every week.
Publix often says they “help offset price increases” through their buy-one-get-one-free sales, but that doesn’t actually help when the regular prices keep climbing. I can go in and spend over $100, sometimes close to $200, and still feel like I’m walking out with almost nothing. At least I have a job, but there are retired people living on Social Security who are struggling even more — and Publix doesn’t seem to care about how these increases affect their customers. Corporate keeps raising prices, but for what?
The quality of the food has also dropped significantly over time. I constantly have to check expiration dates because I’ve repeatedly found items on the shelves that were expired or close to it. On multiple occasions, I’ve brought home products that turned out to be spoiled or past their date. I’ve even contacted Publix corporate directly about expired items in their stores, and they were dismissive and didn’t do anything meaningful to address the issue. For a store that advertises itself as a place “where shopping is a pleasure,” the reality in-store is far from that.
Publix seems to have plenty of money to spend on polished commercials and branding, but the actual shopping experience no longer matches the image they promote. Higher prices, lower quality, and the need to double-check basic items have made shopping here frustrating instead of enjoyable.

Publix is now price gouging. I could see Walmart being 0.50 to 1.00 cheaper but 3.00 to 4.00 cheaper than Publix?!!!!! a 12 pk. of Sprite is 12.00 at Publix and 8.00 at Walmart. Quaker Oatmeal is almost 7.00 at Publix and 4 and change at Walmart. Their produce, specifically the lettuce is rotten. How do they put produce like this on the shelves. Take accountability; Corporate should be ashamed of themselves since you are robbing us.

I visited **Publix GA-20 in McDonough and stopped by the deli to order a salad. Unfortunately, this was one of the rudest customer service experiences I’ve ever had.

The associate helping me — I believe her name was Ms. Carol, although she was not wearing a name tag — seemed very bothered by my requests. I simply asked if she could chop the tomatoes and spinach for the salad, and it felt like that was too much to ask. When I mentioned that I wanted four chicken tenders on my salad, her overall demeanor was unpleasant and unwelcoming.

After returning to my office and sharing my experience, one of my coworkers mentioned that he had a very similar experience with the same associate. That was even more concerning, as it suggests this may not be an isolated issue.

Publix is known for its customer service, which is why this experience was so disappointing. I hope management looks into this matter, as it does not reflect the level of service customers expect.

5 stars for employee awesomeness (almost everyone). The awesome are very friendly and helpful.

But... I'm rating food freshness, expiration date of stock on the shelves (do they not know how to rotate old to the front, new to the back when restocking shelves?). It's basic common sense to rotate stock, but laziness and poor training says just put the new stuff up front?? Is that the new norm? Also, do they not know that fresh produce in a container (like cherry tomatoes) ripen faster in that container and if you don't check or rotate stock, you're selling moldy produce? And why can't I get YumYum sauce with my sushi at Fountains West? The Sushi chef always says they have none. Why sell sushi without the special sauces?

I'd like to do all my shopping at Fountains West, it's close to home, I like the employees. And I don't have a complex grocery list. But, I generally end up at a different store a few miles away because I can't count on Fountains West to have what I need all at once like the other Publix stores manage to achieve...and the other stores don't sell rotten produce.

Whoever is responsible for ordering and checking dates on meats and produce misses the boat by a very long mile. And teach those that stock the expensive produce how remove rotten products. The other day, I gave a stock person 9 packages of cherry tomatoes that were full of mold and there were more on display. They didn't even say sorry or appear surprised. I also have given the meat counter an entire rack of expired lunchmeat as well.

Note, I am NOT talking about independent vendors (bread, chips, soda, and others that stock those areas), they’re fabulous. Always well stocked and fresh.

My generous one star rating is ONLY for areas maintained by Publix and the lack of care for the store by management.

Why do I keep going to Fountains West expecting different results?… Maybe I'm not the brightest candle on the cake… But I’m hopeful?… Yes, I am... It’s closer? Yes... But, is it worth it when you have to go to a 2nd store? …

Get it together Fountains West! I miss the days when you were a one stop shop. And FYI, my grocery list hasn't changed much in the last 18 years, you used to have it all, and fresh, unexpired, non-moldy foods.

Publix was the gold standard for groceries but has risen prices to the point that it's not possible to buy anything at full price. They are pushing us to buy in "bulk" like you are shopping at Costco since you can only buy things on BOGO for it to make sense. I have 5, yes 5 Publix within a 8 mile radius of me and none of them can figure out when fruit is ripe (pre-cut fruit bowls are always either past ripe and mush or not ripe at all and hard as a rock) I have started returning everything at this point-I'm not going to continue to overpay and then get stuck overpaying for something that isn't even edible. The cut melons are crunchy and tasteless, the strawberries are hard as a rock and tasteless. I almost broke a tooth on the last piece of pineapple I tried that was in a fruit bowl. I would buy the fruit and cut it myslef, but it's all rotten and moldy if you buy a bag or container. They sell you a bag of grapefruit (way overpriced to start) and 2 will be soft, moldy and rotten, so now those precious few that are good now cost the price of gold. Half the time I have to take a picture of the sale sign because when I go to the register to check out the sale doesn't register, or they have left an old sale sign up and it's not really on sale.I wish more Trader Joe's were possible-all grocery has it's problems, but I've never felt I've had to return something so that I wasn't just throwing money at the store. Fresh Market (YES FRESH MARKET) has become a cheaper option-THAT'S RIDDICULOUS. It's FRESH MARKET-they are like Whole Foods-pricey and Boutique, but the food hasn't been as bad. Like the guy from Star Wars would say "IT'S A TRAP"! You SUCK PUBLIX. PS-your mobile site (to find a deal) is slow, down most of the time, and has incorrect pictures for the items it advertises. You are just recycling the same sales every XX weeks-how is it not right?

The worst experience in my life today. Trying to return an item, and you would’ve thought the girl was on something. She was the rudest person I’ve ever encountered at any Publix. She had 20 questions on why I was returning the item. She argued with me in front of the manager, he said stop and she kept on. Apparently neither have any customer service, which I spent 35 years of my life in. So I truly know how to treat customers, even if I think they are wrong. I go to this store every single day as I’m retired, and I buy things fresh daily. Customer service was not with a smile today. 😞😞 This was Publix at Southchase.

I want to give a huge shout‑out to Valeria in the Deli! AT the Publix's in Greenville, she is always so kind, helpful, and welcoming every single time I visit. I work at a corporate office, and we are always ordering subs—so I see her often—and she never fails to greet everyone with a smile.
Valeria has such a warm, positive spirit, and she truly goes above and beyond to make sure customers are taken care of. Her great attitude and outstanding customer service deserve to be recognized.

I went into Publix thinking I was going to buy a pecan coffee cake, but as it has been pretty much in the past year or so it was so overcooked and dry looking I would not purchase it. I’ve noticed they’re always overcooked lately? Also, I did return an apple cinnamon loaf cake because it was so dry. You couldn’t even slice it. It just crumbled. I’m sorry to say I used to love a public bakery, but it has gone downhill a lot in the last few years. I don’t know what the problem is, but the quality is no longer top.

Ordered Superbowl Choclate covered strawberries, they did not appear AT ALL as the online photos protrayed, strawberries were bruised and once even had mold on the stem area - Very disappointed, I would give "0" stars if I could.
