Too crowdy with just loads of teenagers…
Too crowdy with just loads of teenagers on their phones or talking to the friends instead of working out. As a result, equipments cannot be available because of this. I also see people hanging out in the studio with their group of friends, putting music loud....

It’s a struggle and getting worse and…
It’s a struggle and getting worse and worse .
Groups of children who come in and sit in machines and stay there forever it’s frustrating.
Most people work and have 1 hour to come and get it done but it’s impossible.
The gym is not being maintained or cleaned properly.
The PT or management just sit on their chair and do not check or tell anybody they can’t stay to one machine for -20-30 min.
Also stealing clothes in the changing room it’s disgusting and you can’t complain anywhere as there are no cameras on the change room .

With regards to the incident in the changing rooms please reach out directly with the Gym Manager to provide more information (such as date and time etc.) so this can be properly investigated.
CCTV is located outside of the changing rooms where it can be determined the timeframe members enter and exit the changing facilities. Thanks, PureGym
The gym has a great atmosphere
The gym has a great atmosphere, it has all the high quality equipment needed and enough that I rarely need to wait to use something, even at peak hours.
The staff are friendly and very helpful. They run different exercise sessions during the week as part of the membership to help with proper technique and training form.
Overall, really great value for money. 100% recommended to anybody who lives nearby.

Regular visitor when in Cambridge
Very convenient, good range of equipment, plenty of space and not too busy (visited every day over the Christmas to New Year break). The place is clean and tidy and open whenever I need it. There seems to be a wide range of people using it from beginners to very experienced gymgoers so there's no pressure. Access is easy with the app.
I only join for a month because I visit relatives over Christmas for nearly two weeks. I have a gym at home but I am very happy to come to Puregym when in Cambridge. I've been doing this for a few years.

Treadmills are terrible
Treadmills are terrible. Running feels like running through mud. They are to hard and speed makes no sense.
I had to queue to go on before and now rarely people run. Mainly walk.

We always advise that new members have an induction to ensure they are familiar and understand how to use the different pieces of equipment. Inductions are usually placed on the class time table. You can also get in touch with the Gym Manager via email, and an induction can be arranged for a specific date and time.
Alternatively, members are able to speak to the staff in the gym (if they are not on the gym floor, please feel free to knock on the staff room door) and have an induction. Thanks, PureGym.
Chaotic
Chaotic, dirty (both the training areas and the changing rooms) , with not enough space for the weight area. People is not polite and there is nobody who control misbehaviour of customers.

Too busy and too dirty
It’s too busy to do the workout I want to do. There’s too much of a culture at the gym allowing people to sit on the only weight machine for like 10 minutes scrolling on their phones. They also run out of paper towels and there is no way to wipe down the machines afterwards. Cleaning is not maintained throughout the day. I understand that it’s a 24 hour gym, but there are times when it is particularly bad.

FIVE STARS from Robin
Personal trainer Tom Conibear was very helpful today! He gave me a solid upper body strengthening routine, and we agreed that physio is a better route to take for my injuries (left ankle and lower back) at this time. Half a year ago we tried some for these, yet I found it too painful, and I couldn’t afford to continue the sessions anyway. He was respectful of these difficulties and was very patient when I ended up being 20 minutes late to our appointment!
