I wanted a special meal delivered for 3 people for my 2nd birthday in lockdown, but it had to be low in saturated fat and Julia was very happy to help with that. Although none of us are vegetarian, the menu was so exciting it was a struggle to choose, and the food was totally delicious! Delivered in proper dishes instead of plastic tubs, it looked wonderful and as soon as the cling film came off the aroma was mouthwatering. Full of different textures, the food tasted as wonderful as we had hoped for and was really fresh - it almost seemed like going to a restaurant. The portions were so generous there was enough for a second meal. Delivered to our door, with dishes collected afterwards, the price was ridiculously cheap. We will definitely be using Purple Plum again.

The food arrived in china dishes, ready to serve with no unpacking. It went straight out on the table. 3 of us ordered 4 mains and 3 sides and shared it like a mezze. There was enough food to have a second meal.
Everything tasted amazing. Distinct flavours and freshly cooked. It felt more special than a normal take away - more like a chef had cooked for us (which I suppose she had!).
The lovely Julia collected the dishes the next day when we had finished with them. It was all very easy.
I can’t recommend purple plum enough. I’ve been raving to all my friends ever since!

A truly delicious mother's day treat! Every main and side dish was just so tasty. All delivered on the loveliest of crockery and lovely generous portions, too. Thrilled to have some leftovers for the next day to enjoy all over again! Can't wait to try the other dishes on the menu.

We received a flyer through our door for Plum Catering and as we are mostly vegan in our house and it's hard to find takeaway vegan food we jumped at it. The food was fresh, delicious and beautifully presented and the portions were also very generous. Overall, we thought it was brilliant value for money and will most definitely be coming back for more!

Julia and Purple Plum catering are a true find in Norwich, whether you're a vegetarian/vegan or are looking to cut back on meat (and waste). The dishes were delicious and full of flavour, not to mention reasonably priced, and the service was friendly and reliable. I wholeheartedly recommend this company and its delicious dishes! Will be trying again soon.

I was lucky enough to win an Instagram competition and the prize was a meal for six people prepared and delivered during lockdown by the lovely Julia from Purple Plum catering. Happily the prize coincided with my birthday and helped to make it extra special!
Beforehand Julia contacted me to find out some of our favourite foods and she crafted a feast around those.
When Julia delivered the Mediterranean banquet we were blown away! All the dishes - including crab cakes, jewelled couscous, a range of salads, lamb tagine and spinach and feta filo pie - looked amazing, were bursting with flavour and complemented each other beautifully.
Julia even baked an indulgent vegan cake and gave me a lovely birthday card too!

Julia and Selina from Purpleplum provided fantastically delicious food for our recent yoga retreat at West Lexham. Each dish was packed with flavours and tasted amazing. For each mealtime, the tables were laden with food, and by the end every bowl and plate were virtually licked clean! And the cakes ... Heaven on a drizzly afternoon with a cup of tea by the logfire.
The best catering food for any event, and two lovely ladies who went out of their way to accommodate everybody and were a pleasure to have met. Thank you so much!

I needed to get a breakfast delivered to a journalist in Norfolk to coincide with business briefing we were presenting online.

I was only able to give Purple Plum 24 hours notice. The service was fast, efficient, no hassle at all and the journalist loved her breakfast.

Fantastic service and attention to detail for our yoga retreat. Food was delicious and made with love. Thank you for being so accommodating for my dairy-free food requests.. Julia even shared some tips / recipes, which I will definitely be trying at home :)

We engaged Julia's company to provide catering at our work event in Norfolk. We arranged breakfasts and a 4 course dinner and everything was delicious. The team are all great and they worked efficiently, setting up the service and then clearing everything away after, so we could just relax and enjoy. Julia was very flexible with the dinner menu in advance too and at very short notice was able to add a cheese course. We are going to recommend Purple Plum to the owners of the property we stayed at in Upwell, and we won't hesitate to work with Julia again.

My experience with Purple Plum Catering was excellent. Julia and her team recently catered for my mum’s funeral. Initially I had no idea what I wanted, but Julia offered advice and was very thoughtful, making suggestions to make the event special in it’s own way.
Communication was great, the food was lovely and the service on the day was fantastic, I really couldn’t have asked for more. Julia’s calm, reassuring approach was really appreciated in a very stressful time. Thank you!
