The "Gray-est" White I've ever seen!
Surreal! The "White Frost" looks nothing like the photos - the official photos of the product shows a bright white unit, but what arrived is a dark grey block. My setup is white, so colour accuracy mattered.
When I contacted the seller, I was told "that's how Opal Frost looks," and used the "return portal" dismissal, which felt more like an excuse than an explanation. It's a bit like selling a misrepresented item on photos and then saying, "that's how paint RAL 9007 looks," when most people have never painted.
I kept one to mod it, send the other back using eBay guarantee refund of not as described (obviously).
So, be aware: the colour shown online is bright white, the real item is dark grey.
And honestly, if the "white" is this far off, it makes me wonder whether the other colours are also inaccurate on the photos.
The USB as mentioned by others, terrible design, you cant use most cables, because its port sides are so narrow. Seems the chap making those has no aesthetics at all (or stop abruptly during design), as the supplied cable cant bend, and just shows horribly under the screen. If you value clear setups and cable management, this is a nightmare. Managed to get some magnetic add on and use from there a 90 degree angled cable. But really terrible design, all because he could not cut the 1mm from each side of the gap leading to the USB port, to allow any cable to be connected. Probably not a gamer himself.
I should not have to deal with colour mods, redesigning the USB port, or bad manners, or excuses instead of responsibility, regardless of quality. This is amateur craftsmanship.
Update: Before the reviews, I had actually asked if he made LED brows to match the Flags, chap used to do them. Because honestly, what else would I match that bizarre grey shade with on my setup except another item in the same bizarre colour and material?
So yes, I did want one, but he now says he wouldn't make it anyway. EGO ALARM. Clearly, some people don't understand what constructive feedback means - hence the childish replies (bedroom seller alert).
Reply to seller: Your response proves the point - not about the product, but the attitude. Inexperience handling complaints and own mistakes. The "backlit display" excuse doesn't explain a colour that looks entirely different in person. The listing shows bright white; the item is dark grey. That's not "slightly brighter," that's inaccurate.
Its embarrassing to explain, but here we go: forget the tablet, go to my eBay feedback, see the screen only, compare to his website. I got the "Gray-est" white ever. Circus.
Yes, you offered a refund, BUT it was ebay and misrepresented so i would get my money back anyway. I kept it because its evidence. Asking about a matching LED brow wasn't "strange"; it was the logical step when stuck with a colour that doesn't match anything else. That's called constructive feedback.
Your reaction - defensive, personal, and dismissive - says more about your customer service than anything in your product catalogue.
Zero sales skills. Seriously? Your professional public reply is a ... game tag? Now thats really embarrassing.
A Steam account doesn't prove someone is a gamer.
It proves someone... has a Steam account.
That's it.
It's like saying:
"I have a library card, therefore I'm a novelist."
Or:
"I own a hammer, therefore I'm a carpenter."
Same way you have a camera, but you are not a photographer, look how off the colours came out... (photoshop much lad?)
Wish Trustpilot had photos, to show here the ones i sent for the return: iFlag here, gray, his own website/listing bright milk white. His backlit excuses, muddying the waters. Its is like, "you gona believe me or your lying eyes?" He thinks screenshoots capture brightness setting of the screen! Embarrassing.
French reviewer was spot on.
Upd: he asked to revise my review to remove his first name, but he replied using his name in the end. Trying to remove a genuine reviews by playing the system. Embarrassing panic.
But the cherry on the top, the absolute panic to remove genuine reviews, is his few other ones, use his name, the only one he tried to exploit to bring down is this one. Trying all he can to trick the system of Trustpilot! Embarrassing as they come!
Last, an ltd. company and directors data are public record in UK. Transparency is legally considered the "price" of limited liability! I did you a favour removing it, its public record! Allows Due Diligence.
