First impressions matter tried Cirencester branch, looking for a new solicitor. Said would get someone to phone back, never happened. On trying to phone getting no reply. Not impressed

Been waiting 2 years for them to sort out a inheritance from a late family member rang twice to see what is going on but I don't think they now themselves seems like there taking longer to get more money for themselves out of the estate honestly this could of been dealt with through covid .

Made several phone phone calls to the stonehouse office to arrange to collection of my will and the deeds for my house.I rang to inform them on the morning that I was collecting them and yet they still had no idea when I made a specific journey to collect them.

Gemma Butland acted recently for us on our recent house purchase. From start to finish, Gemma was always contactable, friendly and very professional. Buying a home is always stressful, however this experience was smooth, calm and at the end rewarding. We cannot thank Gemma for all her hard work for us to enjoy our new family home.

I used Red Kite (Brecon office) for my conveyancing, and the first Lawyer was very good, but he left around the completion of my purchase. But since then (Dec 2020) Red Kite have been appallingly incompetent. No response despite repeated messages and telephone calls, poor administration, poor communication and follow up. Unable to talk to a real person. Avoid them - not recommended at all

Used Redkite for a piece of conveyancing work on a purchase. If there were fractional stars to award, I'd be giving them a rating of less than 1 star. The whole experience was chaotic, disorganised, communication was awful, calls were rarely returned, every excuse in the book was given to me for the awful service. I will never use this company ever again. Total shambles.

DO NO USE!!!!

They do not seem interested in checking on evidence or waiting on medical reports from hospital before deeming you “unworthy” not being 50% chance or higher on there scale to win.

You haven’t waited for the evidence to arrive.. you haven’t challenged the defendant with evidence given?

What do you actually do?

probable one of the worst experiences of my life. after they have your money they won't answer the phone to you and only communicate speradicly via email.
has taken 8 weeks to get my file from them and still no deed for my property.
to make matters worst you can't get hold of the complains department ever so no joy there. they seem to do minimal searches and don't give you advice on what to look for as a buyer. I think that I have had 8 emails total off of them and half of them where asking for mortgage and insurance update. us these people at your own risk.!!!!!

I recently sold my house and Katherine Greet of the Brecon office did the conveyancing. She was excellent-very efficient, quick to respond and dealt with the other solicitors enquiries knowledgeably. A really nice person too. She made the whole process very easy. Her colleague Bethan was also very helpful and efficient. I have no hesitation in recommending Red Kite and would definitely use them again.

I had a poor experience with the Brecon office. My sister for whom I was acting as attorney received a £400 invoice for work done in connection with an aborted sale. My oral enquiries to the Brecon office produced no description of what work had actually been done but just the response that the lawyer who had been working on the matter had left their employment. A written enquiry to a partner in Carmarthen went unanswered. My sister asked me to remove her will and bundle of deeds from Red Kite and find a new solicitor.

Where do you start. Original solicitor left. New solicitor is very young and inexperienced and frankly rude. No clue how to talk to clients or what he is doing.

Very unimpressed , I sold my property , for renovation so no chain involved , straightforward transaction as far as I was aware , in mid May . It’s now mid September and as far as I’m aware it could be now exchanged and completed , it’s mid September! They say the Solicitor who was dealing with the case has left and my buyers , their clients have said they can’t get even get through to them . My Solicitor has answered all their enquires and is now waiting for my buyers Solicitor to get back to them , my buyers are frustrated as they want to get in with their project and they’ve lost two summer months due to the lack of action by their chosen Solicitor!!
This is now causing me financial problems as I paying bills on a house I don’t even live in ! It’s empty !
My advise is don’t use this Company as this should have taken a maximum of 10 weeks ! We are now in week 17 !!!!!

Truly appalling. I've been trying to complete on a house since mid February. This company have failed to answer countless emails from my solicitors. It's a straightforward, no mortgage, no chain transaction. Both the seller and myself have constantly been fobbed off with excuse after excuse, causing undue stress in an already stressful situation. Locums brought in, only to disappear, empty promises of work done but not followed through, papers lost. Incompetent to say the least. No doubt the usual "covid" excuse will appear, It's just not good enough, if you can't do a job you shouldn't have taken it on.

Edit: In response to your comments below. Your service (or rather lack of) towards your client is absolutely impacting me, both financially and emotionally

We chose Redkite Solicitors in Cardiff for our residential conveyancing and Emma Selfridge was the lawyer who handled it all.

Emma and conveyancing team saw through a sale fraught with difficulties on the other side, both buyers and sellers. All was done successfully despite the problems of the Covid pandemic. Wholeheartedly endorse them.

Currently trying to buy a property, RedKite Solicitors are the solicitors the sellers are using. We have been waiting 4 months now since the offer was accepted. It is impossible to get hold of them. They do not answer direct dials and you only get through to reception. Do not bother, use someone else.
