Even one star is too high for their branch in Kentish Town, Absolute rubbish , firstly they only had one guy behind the counter serving, secondly when I finally got served, the guy did not even know what was BS1361 fuse was, The whole shop looked liked a warehouse rather than retail unit.

incompetent would be a compliment. Every job we have used these guys for they have messed up.

Absolutely beyond useless.

Only times we have ever let a customer down is when we have used Rexel. I would rather pay double to another supplier than ever use these clowns again.

I have small order RCBO should be delivered in 3 days. There is more than thousands of that one in stock and still waiting for order to be processed. 1 week no order processing and delivery. No call to explain why. I have spoke to customer service from my branch and they just said it's coming from different branch, such poor explanation. Don't purchase online, get what is in store by your self. I need to explain to my customer why I'm waiting 1 week for 1 RCBO. I do not recommend online purchase.

Made 3 orders in 3 days over the web. First order arrived next day, great 10 big 2.4mtr parts. Second order vanished from my web orders list. Third order still not arrived 30 days later. Called customer support nice polite lady but sadly she could not help.

Disasterous for a business depending on parts for client work. She told me to call my bank to see if the credit card transactions had gone through and get them to reverse if required - but the email reciepts from them said the orders were confirmed and inferred paid status. Bonkers. Avoid.

Update 14 March 2023 received an email saying the errant January orders have been cancelled due to lack of stock, and billing is usually completed at time of delivery so they haven't charged me. Brilliant.

All the complaints seem to have encouraged them to fix their software at long last!

I’m account customer and the Rexels webstore is rubbish. Ordered these spring clips and was informed of a long delivery time when ordering, so didn’t chase until receiving a request for a review on a item not yet delivered. Phoned my local wholesaler to find out what is going on, only to find the order had been cancelled by the warehouse, no communication to me informing me of the cancelled order. If this was the first time this has happened I could let it go, but it’s not the first time I have had problems ordering online. I have no faith in ordering online and will not be ordering online again.

Terrible service.
Items coming from about 3 different places and delivery never turned up.
Then parts randomly turn up late and other parts go to other stores.
To top it off order wrong and not what was specified and panels don’t work with kit supplied. Clearly they have not got a clue- avoid as it will end up costing your business money - go to a competent supplier

Utterly useless. I was told components were in stock. Order placed a month ago with 2 week lead time. After chasing 3 times when 20 days late suddenly told they can't fulfil the order. No contact, no attempt to help or resolve. I have wasted an entire month and all of the potential delay time I had allowed and am now on the verge of letting down my own customer due to Rexel. Disgusting, awful company I will and you should avoid at all costs.

I tried to but two simple items at the Weir Road, Balham branch. The two very incompetent staff couldn't do anything: they needed another customer to describe the items I wanted, only one of them could use the computer to process an order and he was trying and failing to do three orders at once. Clueless.

What a joke , my money are now held for 5to 7 days before I can use them

I ordered 4 of the same product. I chased a few days later for delivery estimate only to be told there was no stock and so there would be no delivery. Had I not contacted them, I would still be waiting for nothing to arrive! My first and last order from Rexel.

Ordered a big order on 25th February, it’s now 11th March and still haven’t arrived, the customer services are clueless and don’t care, they have taken my money and won’t gove it back… I will be taking legal action!

Ordered a lamp from the online store, on the 7th December, we are now the 30th of January and still not further forward, countless emails and phones calls and genuinely nobody cares to help you. If it’s this difficult to organise the delivery of a daft wee table lamp, imagine what it would be like with a bigger order? Scary thought. Anyway. Avoid using them I’d suggest.

Ben at the Poole branch always offers first class customer service. I highly recommend him!!

Absolute shambles of a company and their web service is useless. I’ve ordered an item to be delivered to site and wrong item sent even though paperwork is for the correct item and also ordered an item to a branch they “forgot” to load on the van that morning. Both these for the same job that was a 250 mile round trip. Not even an apology. I placed an order via their web shop in January for collection from my local branch which turned up in dribs and drabs to my own address (one item was dropped over a 6ft gate and damaged and left in the rain) they also altered the prices of these items on the invoice to what they were on the order confirmation. A month or 2 later this same order turned up again but this time in the branch as it should have the first time. It took that long to get the items credited that my account ended up on stop even though these items never left the branch. 5 months after this order was placed the items turned up again and I had the same issue getting them credited and my account was again put on stop. Complaints just get passed back and forth with no one taking ownership. I have had an account around 15 years, I will no longer be using Rexel.

Rep visited me to open a trade account with Southampton branch but shortly after this I was off work due to illness. A month or so later I started receiving invoices for items not ordered or needed (as I was off) or indeed actually delivered.
No order number etc on paperwork,just a 'verbal'
reference,I always use order numbers!
This to me is a way of coercing me to buy from them but it's had the completely the opposite effect.

Do not want to know when you have faulty items and items not described correctly .
Shocking service avoid like you would with Covid.

Had my order for weeks, twice asked me for a review before I even recieved my goods to then be told 'my review does not meet the criteria' and so was not accepted :-). What was the point in that?? Then to cap it all after what must have been a month they just cancelled my order???? The Rexel website is particularly cumbersome and not easy to use. I'd definitly not reccomend them or use them again. Shame.....
