Customer service. I had queries about speaker brackets seen online. I got through to Paul at Middlesbrough branch who suggested a product and checked they would fit my speakers from
eBay. I forgot to order cable so rang back and he got some similar to my existing Cambridge Audio and added to the order. All arrived together.

An issue with the website not processing a discount led me to call to place my order. With the offer honoured, my delivery came within 4 days. Perfect. However the smallest item arrived damaged, no questions replacement sent straight out. Double perfect. Service, speed and the best price on a great product

Purchased in Middlesbrough Store on Thursday got my receipt & 6 year guarantee no having to register on line like some other retailers.
Tv was delivered a few days later and Shaun gave me better price than anywhere else online could not ask for better service

Went on Sunday to Richer Sounds in Middlesbrough to see about a new subwoofer. Paul the store manager couldn't have been more helpful. He advised on the one I wanted, gave me a great price with free delivery and although it was ordered Sunday we got it on Monday! What fantastic service and and an awesome experience. Thank you. Will definitely go again if we need anything else, even parking outside the front, what more could you ask for.

I've been a fan and customer for decades. I contacted the store by phone was given guidance on selecting a new TV. I called into Middlesbrough on a Saturday, my new TV was delivered the following Monday. Excellent service from staff and speedy delivery.

I had a rough idea what i wanted, but I wasn't 100% sure. I emailed my local shop and Stu replied, helping me with my queries back and forth- he then ordered in the item I was looking to buy to have a look and listen to (a Fiio DM15).
It was there within a day or two, and I was left to try the gear in their listening room- no hassle, no sale pushiness or pressure- just sound advice and help when asked for.
Sure enough, I was impressed with it and was helped with the purchase, even having a VIP discount applied for me though id forgotten about being signed up for it - very helpful indeed.
At the till we were talking about MP3 players and the chaps mentioned a snowsky player they had been impressed with; it was on offer and I picked one up for my wife. Again, there was no sales push, just people who're interested in audio chatting about audio, and in the process, letting the products sell themselves.
I will always buy from RS if they stock what I'm after. Having their local knowledge and facilities allowed me to decide on what I wanted and test it with my own cd's and headphones. They allowed the making of this purchase to be well informed, tested, and right for me. 10/10
