Excellent service and delivery. Arrived exactly when they said it would. Good price and delivery driver was very helpful.

I just wanted to say what excellent customer services there is at the Chepstow Robert Price, alon gside the wood being sold at very reasonable prices. I'm a DIYer and was wanting to buy large pieces of timber, which then needed cutting to fit in my small car, and to be more manageable for the job I was wanting to do at home. The staff provided me with fantastic support, helping me cut the wood, and make the calculations I needed for the above. Special mentions are owed to Tommy, who helped me cut a large piece of ply into manageable pieces. This took him at least half an hour, but he stuck with the job until the end, making sure everything fitted in the car, and taking care with his cutting. Also, I would like to thank Charlie, who did the same with a number of 2X2 4m lengths I also needed cutting down. You done great guys, and I'll definitely be back as a result!

Always reliable and super helpful delivery - we live up a very narrow lane with awkward access, and have never had anything but a smile on the driver's faces when they arrive - wouldn't go anywhere else!

I would like to commend and thank the action of a driver on Thursday on the A470 to Cardiff . A female driver had broken down in her vehicle at a very busy stretch of road and your driver stopped and skilfully reversed the Robert Price vehicle to come behind the stationary car thereby protecting it and the driver who was very distressed. This was a very thoughtful and kind act and was carried out expertly. Please recognise the driver and the action that was taken to manage a difficult situation.

I have used Robert Price's depots in Ebbw Vale and, more recently, in Aberbeeg for all my adult life and before that, with my dad. I always assume that the staff will be able to answer all my questions, some stupid, some not, and I have never been disappointed. The staff are super; knowledgeable, helpful, experienced and always demonstrate great customer service. As a customer of 50+ years, I take this for granted until I have to visit another retailer: it's only then I see that not all builders' merchants are the same.

I ordered from Robert Price because the prices were very competitive and I like to support local companies.
The service I received was beyond reproach. First class communication regarding my order and delivery.
The delivery driver was so helpful, nothing was too much trouble.

Ordered 2 bulk of sand and requested delivery on my driveway. TRAVIS PERKINS was great and revived delivery next day. ROBERT PRICE & TERRY HOWELLS didn’t manage to deliver this order as there drivers can’t reverse there lorry, waste 4 days for my order to be refunded

I was called 9am that my delivery is 10 min away, was waiting over hour for driver. After several calls around 3pm I was told my delivery can be completed as driver cant reverse to unload the order. SHOCKING, waste of time

Rang Robert price today for update had a polite and helpful response..The lad who gas been dealing with my issue has confirmed i will be getting 12 bags to replace the others. He said they have a new supplier and a soon as he gets the golden gravel in they will drop them over .

The service from our Robert Price builders merchant in Chepstow is excellent. In our experience, over a number of years and projects, the company is large enough to be competitive but has retained the service culture and ethos of a smaller family business. As a consequence, the service is friendly, responsive and all the staff are polite, helpful and very professional. This is our experience from the entire team including the Manager, the sales team, the yard staff in branch, and the delivery drivers who are careful, helpful and courteous.
Many of the builders and tradesman working with us on our latest project have noted this client focus and as a result they have started to switch accounts from their legacy merchants to Robert Price.

My wife was given HSS drills, when asking for masonry drills also as listed on request note. one wrong Dia.
Returned the next day and obtained refund.
NO APOLOGY, as if used to this level of service, and for wasting my time. Replacement? try over there, but not available. Couldn't care less - at 75yrs I do.
