I was so impressed and grateful for the excellent service I received at Roomrs. Before I moved to NY, one of their staff held a zoom call with me, reviewed the contract face to face and answered all my questions. When I arrived the room looked EXACTLY like the photos - furnished and clean! Throughout my stay, the support staff were excellent at communication. Overall this is a very trustworthy and reliable organisation. Thank you for making my time in NY stress free!

Roomrs made my life easier when I arrived in the city. Deborah and the team were very welcoming and helpful. The moving process was simple and efficient. I ended up staying longer than expected and renewed my lease a few times. The experience was great. Thanks!

I loved my room and the location of my apartment. The best part was my roommates. I was scared of co-living at first but we all became good friends.

I lived in a Roomrs apartment for 3 months after I had to move to New York on short notice. I lived in a 3 bedroom apartment in East Harlem. The process to view the apartment and sign the lease was extremely fast and hassle-free, especially since I had to view and sign the apartment remotely. The leasing team was flexible with my timings and dates. The apartment and my room were fully furnished with regular cleaning of public spaces and bathrooms. Access to the building and apartment are controlled via the Latch app. Move-in and move-out are smooth since no physical keys are required. Customer service is extremely responsive to any queries you might have. Overall, I had a good experience and highly recommend Roomrs for both long-term and short-term housing needs.

I did a short-term 3-month lease in this building and I absolutely adored every moment of living here. The maintenance team at the building is incredibly nice and communicating with them to help with maintenance requests was very easy, and problems were typically fixed during the day which was great. The building also felt safe and the location is unbeatable, walking distance from the East River and less than a 2-minute walk from the L stations. Staying in this building solidified my desire to move back to NYC in the future.

I lived in one of Roomrs' Crown Heights apartments for about 6 months. Just moved out yesterday - I actually miss it already.

My highlights were the tall windows (because natural light is a must for me) and the modern/renovated aesthetic. The paint was clean, the shower was amazing, and the AC was super efficient.

At first I was kinda hesitant to go with Roomrs because of the random roommate thing but mine turned out to be good. Overall I had three different roommates (all women, btw I'm a guy) and two of them were great. The other one was just messy in the bathroom. And I also never spent much time talking to any of them. We'd only really talk in passing and we all had a good rapport with each other so that was fine for me.

The main reason I didn't extend my lease with Roomrs was because I wanted to get a cat and my apartment didn't allow cats.

In conclusion: I can def vouch for Roomrs - 5/5

Roomrs is your best bet for a simple, seamless, and stress-free move to NYC. If you are looking to sublet, stay in NYC short term, or you are student looking for legit housing roomrs is a great option.

Roomrs is a great option for students, temporary living arrangements, or even longer stays. I originally moved into one of their apartments for a short term stay, but liked it so much I extended. The apartment was fully furnished, modern and a hassle-free move in/move out. They even hire a monthly cleaning service. Would definitely recommend!

Roomrs ensured a smooth transition to NYC. I moved into one of their Williamsburg units, to ease into my new life in NYC without the pressures of finding/ purchasing furniture & other moving necessities. I work remotely, and my room was spacious and comfortable enough to work from. Considering where I lived + the amenities I had access to, the rent was very reasonably priced. My building’s superintendent -- Jimmy — was responsive, helpful, and truly provided the southern hospitality I needed!

I would recommend Roomrs to anyone planning a temporary move (or even long-term, if you don’t mind living with strangers) to the greatest city on Earth.

Comparing to other housing sublet companies, I had the best experiences with Roomrs.

The moving in process was quick and easy, customer service is quick to respond and amenities in my apartment were fully equipped.

And I think I had the best of luck with my roommates. They were such delightful people. Roomrs would also notice you a couple of days in advance about your new housemates so you will have time to get ready for new person coming in!

I only stayed here for 3 months while waiting for my long term apartment but I definitely fell in love with this place.

I applied for a room a week before, and was in it a week later. It’s that quick! I was living in Brooklyn internationally so that made the whole process much simpler. This was to the credit of the sales and leasing team. I appreciate that greatly from them.

The apartment that I lived in was very conveniently located, very modern and always got compliments from friends I had over. Splitting an apartment with three people meant there wasn’t much competition for amenities such as showers and cooking equipment, so it was a perfect amount of people for the space.

We also had a cleaner that was at the shared expense of the residents, but it was very beneficial, and worth it to walk into a clean apartment. I’d also say while the electronic lock system made me apprehensive at first, I quickly found it so much better - being able to access my apartment with either my phone or a personalised code.

If you’re looking for a place in New York, and you want to get it stress free, I recommend Roomrs.

The apartment was clean and looked exactly like the pictures, the staff was helpful and responsive and I made some amazing friendships during my time there. I couldn't recommend Roomrs enough!

Before I moved to NYC from California last year, I had no idea where I would live when I moved here. Luckily, roomrs gave me a crystal clear process for how to seamlessly move into a furnished apartment with my own room. The process was great, and I have no complaints about how things were done. Overall, roomrs gets 5 stars because it simplified by living experience in such a busy city.

Roomrs was amazing. When I was new to the city I didn't have to look long for a nice apartment: they helped me out straight away. The leasing proces was so simple, all I had to do was sign up online, fill out the documents they needed, signing the lease and i was able to move in. My room was very clean and had cool decorations and furniture. I was very lucky with my roommates too. Would absolutely recommend.

Definitely the more affordable and convenient option! Plus you can't beat laundry and dishwasher in unit!!! Random, but the laundry machine is also really good quality compared to others in NYC.
