This was my second time staying at a Roomrs apartment. My favorite part is how responsive and helpful they were to answer all my questions in a timely manner.

I had great roommates and our apartment was nice, so that was great. I would recommend Roomrs to anyone who has just moved to NY or is looking for a short term stay.

Definitely the more affordable and convenient option! Plus you can't beat laundry and dishwasher in unit!!! Random, but the laundry machine is also really good quality compared to others in NYC.

Super helpful for a last minute move to NYC. nothing but positive things to say. Great location next to the subway, clean, great pricing and the apartment looked exactly like the photos.

Roomrs was extremely responsive and answered all my questions in a timely manner. The apartment they provided was in great condition and cleaned on a regular basis. Overall, I'd recommend the service for people just moving to the city and looking to find a room quickly.

Roomrs made moving to NYC stress free! Within a week of finding Roomrs I had a reasonably price room! It is great for interns that need something short-term. The customer service responds within a business day and is excellent with troubleshooting and problem solving. My overall experience with Roomrs was wonderful. They are reliable, legit, and affordable for all budgets.

They try to trick you with the rooms, they tell you that you get one and then they try to give you another that is half the size of the first for the same price without explicitly mentioning it.

Also, they change the prices of the rooms from one day to the next (+$200 for example) and when you ask for clarifications they just pretend that it never happened.

After all this, I decided not to rent a room from them and I asked for a refund (you have to pay a membership fee to start the application process, and they tell you that it is refundable if things don't work out ). I asked for the refund one month ago and I still haven't received any money and they just keep on telling me that they issued it but when I ask for proof they just stop responding to me.

Stay away

I moved to abruptly and Roomrs was able to provide everything I needed until I was able to go back and get my belongings. Roomrs was extremely professional, clean, and cozy. Glad I was able to experience coliving the way I did with Roomrs.

Roomrs really really helped me out. I moved from the U.K. to NYC and obviously didn’t have any furniture with me. I wanted a steady, easy move in! & I got that with Roomrs, so massive thank you!! & I also loved the fact that you get a cleaner every month !! Very happy with my Roomrs experience. thank you!!

Roomrs seems te be like any other website for short term lease but that impression is deceptive. I emailed them couple of times and even set up a videocall to receive more information on the listings they are offering. First, they used to show up late on the calls and/or reschedule them on short notice. Second, during the call you do not get any more than just empty words. There was no time for proper introduction of the company or any explication of the whole process. Third, their staff is responding very late or even ignoring subsequent questions. Overall, I do not recommend Roomrs if you value your time. Try one of the competitors instead!

As COVID cases were going down, I moved back to New York to find a job. Things were uncertain for me and I didn't want to get into a longer lease. Hence, I picked Roomrs. They provided shorter lease options (3 month minimum) and were very supportive as I was finalizing the apartment from a different country. They also have good alternatives if you don't have a credit score/ guarantor. So all that hassle is taken away. The customer support was great as well. They always got back to us within a day. In my 7 months staying at rooms, I only faced one problem- the heaters were not working for a few days. Although they were fixed, but they took a week to do it. However, I was reimbursed for a space heater that I got. The apartment was very aesthetically pleasing, nicely furnished, and had monthly cleaning service too- which made it easy for me. Overall, it was a great experience with Roomrs!

Roomrs facility was amazing and made my move into a real apt seamless and for that I highly recommend. It was clean, well kept, and highly accessible. The furnishings were updated and spacious.

Roomrs were amazing to deal with. They made my international move so seamless and easy - and were so helpful every step of the way. I trusted their recommendations and found a place I loved, including the area. No question was ever too much and customer service was always exceptional. Great value and a wonderful experience. I highly recommend.

FIVE STARS!! Roomrs made everything so easy!!! I just showed up with my clothes and had a literal bed, closet, desk and fully furnished kitchen. My roommate and I lived in a 3BR just the two of us for 6 months--it was incredible. Roomrs is also super responsive and caring with issues that happen in the day to day. I've recommended them to all my friends moving to the city. Enjoy!

I just finished a short stay with Roomrs and loved it! They were super helpful in being accommodating and preparing me for my stay! Even after I moved in they continued to be helpful and provide great service. I would totally recommend them to others looking for housing on short notice, and I myself would be happy to house with them again!

Roomrs was super impactful to my move to New York City. At the very last minute I was looking for places to stay and Roomrs was that open door for me. Getting started and all moved in with Rommrs was super easy and the customer service was on point and very responsive and met the needs of everyone. I would recommend Roomrs to anyone looking for short or long term stay. I enjoyed my time with Roomrs and will most definitely stay with them again.

My roomrs experience was all I expected and more! Most notably I had wonderful roommates in the perfect location. It was indeed fully furnished, with almost all necessary appliances provided. My room was a good size and had massive closets too! The cleaning service once a month was a nice bonus as well. At one point my toilet did break off the wall due to poor design and there was not much light in the kitchen or common room due to the strange layout. However, my overall experience with roomrs was good and just what I needed!

I used this co-living service for almost 2 years. They provided the service at a great price including everything(Kitchen utensils, Internet, gas, electricity, monthly cleaning, etc). In addition, the step of making the contract is simple, so you can start/end your life easily.
Sometimes room photos are slightly different from actual ones, but the room is clean and I didn't have any big issues.

Roomrs was great. I was surprised at how responsive the support team was. I thought the price was great and though I was nervous about the roommate, he turned out to be great. Having everything there (utensils, bed and linens, cookware, internet) was a gamechanger. Roomrs was my first co-living experience and I would recommend them.
