Will not offer free to mortgage customers.
I have had a Rooster card for over 3 years for my kids as it was suggested by their grandparents. I happily paid the subscription. Recently I have moved house and have taken out a Natwest mortgage and I am staggered that (despite paying Natwest thousands in interest each year) they will not offer Rooster free to me and my kids.
If I had a current account with no money in and did not earn them anything they would offer it!
Terrible customer care. I'll be taking my kids banking elsewhere. Mortgage will go elsewhere also when the deal is up, as it shows total disrespect for its customers.

A must have one for all the parents …
A very good app to track kids shopping areas and get to know their spending amounts even not the bought items and the same time the kids will learn about handling the cards and how saving money in their accounts too
Really recommend to any parent whom doesn’t wish to his kids carry the cash in order not to offend them outside as they could use rooster cards for the raison they are contactless too

Great introduction to personal banking
What a great introduction to personal financial independence for my 14 year old. She can spend save or donate but has to understand that the barrel isn't bottomless like preciously when the bank of Mum and Dad paid for everything. I like the chore settings also as it teaches work equals reward. It's definitely a recommended from me.

Easy to set up
Easy to set up, we’ve been using Rooster money for a while now, never had a problem. Love that it informs the parents when the cared is used and great that there is a limit on the amount and number of times it can be used.

Very useful for my 9 year old to understand how to use the account.
He is extremely happy when he can purchase something he wants for himself.
I like the fact that I can monitor the account , limiting how much is in his account but being able to add money into his account if I need to.
Highly recommended to give your child a little independence but still able to control the account.
I can also reward my son for being helpful etc.

Teen Grandson and the Rooster Card
I have contacted customer services who were extremely helpful.
The app is easy to navigate and its great for teaching my teen grandson about money, independance and responsibility plus the encouragement to complete tasks and jobs to earn pocket money.
Overall, a fab initiative.
