I am writing this review to share my extremely disappointing experience with Rotimatic (Zimplistic).
I placed an order for a Rotimatic machine and made full payment in advance. However, it has now been more than four months, and I have neither received the product nor my refund.
Over the past several months, I have sent multiple emails to their customer support team, trying to resolve the issue in a polite and cooperative manner. Initially, I received some responses with assurances that the matter would be resolved soon. Unfortunately, nothing actually happened.
What is even more concerning is that for the past one month my emails have not been answered at all. Completely ignoring a paying customer after taking their money is unacceptable and extremely unprofessional.
This entire experience has been very frustrating, mentally stressful, and emotionally disturbing. As a customer, I trusted the company and paid for the product in good faith, but the lack of transparency and communication has been shocking.
A refund transaction should not take several months to process. The continued delay in returning my money raises serious concerns about the company’s customer service practices.
At this stage, I am left with no product, no refund, and no response from the company.
I strongly urge Rotimatic / Zimplistic to take responsibility and process my refund immediately.
I hope that by sharing this experience publicly, the company will finally address this issue and resolve it without forcing customers to take legal or financial dispute actions.

I purchased a Rotimatic just 3 months ago and have had nothing but problems from day one. I expected a premium product with premium support — instead, I got neither.
Issue #1: The flour container has never worked since the day I received the machine. I reported this immediately, and after weeks of back-and-forth, Rotimatic promised to ship a replacement. That replacement has still not arrived. No updates.
Issue #2: On top of the flour container problem, my transfer arm is stuck — a separate technical fault. Rotimatic scheduled a technical support call to resolve this. I showed up on time. Their technician did not. No call, no email explaining the no-show, no rescheduling — just silence.
At this point, I have a $1,000+ machine that has never functioned properly, a missing replacement part, and a support team that ghosts scheduled appointments. There is no way to reach a real human representative. Emails go unanswered. Calls lead nowhere.
This is not acceptable for a product at this price point. I am demanding an immediate resolution — either a full replacement unit or a complete refund. If this is not addressed promptly, I will be escalating to my credit card company and filing a complaint with consumer protection authorities.
Rotimatic, do better.

It has been 12 weeks since my order and still waiting for the product. The planned delivery date was March 7 and a day before it, I get a mail that it'll be delayed by 3-4 weeks.
I don't mind the 10 week wait time as that is what I signed up for. But, the last day nonchalant mail that 'btw, it'll be delayed' is unprofessional. Still waiting..

I am writing this to warn others: Think twice before giving Rotimatic your money. I placed my order in late November 2025. I was promised an 8–10 week delivery window. It is now mid-March 2026—nearly 16 weeks later—and I have zero updates on my delivery.
The most frustrating part isn't just the delay; it’s the complete lack of professional customer service:
• Vague Responses: When they do reply, they ignore my specific questions.
• Zero Accountability: They refuse to explain why there is a delay or provide a firm shipping date.
• Holding My Money Hostage: I have asked for a full refund and a cancellation multiple times. They are currently sitting on a large sum of my money for 4 months while failing to provide the product or even a human response to my refund request.
My trust in this company is completely gone. I feel forced to contact my bank for a chargeback and report this to consumer protection agencies.

Rotis are nice and soft. Customer service not that great
Rotis are nice and soft. I like the quality of rotis. My only issue is rotis dont get fully cooked even after I set to maximum roast level. If the dough gets stuck it goes back from start which takes 6 minutes to warm up and if I increase the number if rotis later it does not recognize that. Overall the customer service is not that great as it used to be before.

Very frustrated with this product and the company behind it.
The Rotimatic machine has had multiple issues and has not worked properly. What’s even worse is the customer service. I have been trying to get help for over 3 months and the experience has been terrible.
Every time I contacted support, they kept delaying and saying someone would follow up, but nothing actually happened. Now they have completely stopped responding to my emails. I have asked several times for updates and even for shipment tracking information, and I’m being ignored.
For such an expensive machine, this level of support is unacceptable. A company selling a premium product should not treat customers this way.
Extremely disappointing experience.

I’ve been using the Rotimatic for a while now, and my experience has been mostly positive. Initially, it did give me a bit of a hard time during the first 5–6 runs. The dough kept getting stuck, and I was worried that the machine might not work as expected. However, after those first few runs, it seemed to settle in and started working amazingly well.
Now it consistently makes fresh rotis, which is something I absolutely love. Having hot, freshly made rotis without the manual effort is a huge convenience, especially on busy days.
The only improvement I’d hope for is that the rotis could be a bit thinner. Also, while they taste great when fresh, I wish they would stay soft and not become chewy once they get cold.
Otherwise, I love this product and would definitely recommend it to anyone who is working full time and still wants the comfort of fresh rotis at home.

Bad machine Unresponsive Customer Service
This is not just a bad machine but an unresponsive company.
We were overcharged. Shipping was botched up. Got the louder one though we paid for the quieter one. We didn't use it for weeks after due to a family emergency.
We did try to contact but were given the runaround and due to other family concerns we gave up.
We are 2 people and have tried all the recommended flours.
We typically make 15 rotis so we can just tear up the top part of the roti because even at the highest roast level bottom/inside is always totally uncooked. Edges don't cook well. Repeated errors.
We do a deep clean as recommended and it developed mold. Need to notify the FDA.
I have a cooking blog and newsletter and I will be sharing this experience with all my readers.
Worst product and company we've had the misfortune to deal with. Don't expect anything from this company. Just want to alert others. YMMV.

Worst customer service - refund awaited
Rotimatic has the worst customer service and is a scam company. I ordered a new machine in the first week of January and paid extra for expedited shipping. When the order was not shipped by end of January, I promptly cancelled the product on 1-Feb. I was eligible for a full refund per company policy.
I was told that my refund would be processed at the most in 3-4 weeks, but preferably earlier as the request was being expedited. I have now been waiting for my refund and have chased them 3 times in the last 3 weeks and there is no response from customer service. There is no way to phone into their customer service and no way to reach out to them.
Please do not order from them. Once you pay the money, they completely forget about you.
Rotimatic - if you dont refund my money, I will have to take legal action. My order number is 78490.

I have very bad experience first of all when I bought I waited for 3 month for machine then i have problem with flour they didn’t mention that this machine only used when you put special flour , I have to sent back then they give me wrong invoice and receiving address and I applied for refund but I don’t know when I will have money back and the worst thing is that they know I have devolution the Mechine but they are trying to take money from your bank, I mean disgusting.very bad experience

Impossible customer service. Machine never connected to internet for US customer.
After dozens of hours of troubleshooting mechanical issues myself— it makes regular rotis with about 80% success but that’s it. Great idea in theory but poor execution for the price.
