I couldnt be happier with my sauna- I use it daily. When I had a slight problem with a light controller, George Castaneda was immediately available for assistance. He not only helped with me with a replacement item, but checked in along the way. Hands down some of the best customer service with any product I have ever purchased, ever.

I wanted to share my experience with Salus Sauna’s
customer service, which ultimately left me very impressed.

I purchased an outdoor sauna about two years ago, and it quickly became a favorite addition to my home. Over time, I reached out to the company with some questions about improvements they had made to their design, and I appreciated how open and responsive they were throughout the process.

While it took some time to work through the details, George and the customer service team were consistently communicative and committed to making sure I had the best possible experience.

That level of care, accountability, and follow-through really stands out. It’s clear they are dedicated to continually improving their product and taking care of their customers.

I’ve been a long-time customer of Salus Saunas and have been consistently impressed with both the product quality and, especially, the customer service. Being based in Hawaii, great customer support is a non-negotiable for important purchases like a barrel sauna, and Salus has absolutely delivered.

Beyond the initial purchase, I’ve had a couple of situations related to ongoing maintenance and replacement parts, and the support I received was nothing short of stellar. The team has been incredibly responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely willing to help every step of the way. The customer service was fantastic. Mark and his team helped me out with any bumps in the road that I faced. The bumps referenced had to do with product delivery, as I received the wrong heater for my specific service. Again, once the issue was noticed and reported Mark and his team of professionals resolved the problem in expeditious manner.

Sales & delivery people were very nice, assembly was easier than expected, we are loving our sauna.

- Built solo in garage, took 15-20 hours to dial in things correctly.
- Huum heater 7.5 KW - this is the best part. (recommended per company 6kw, I was able to get 7.5, which I am grateful for as it heats up quick, holds heat, and exactly what I was looking for with high heat and steams well.
- It actually does get to 230 F not that that is needed, but could never find any reviews on the HUUM with people going for high heat.
- Found local electrician to install subpanel with 40watt, he wired the entire thing from box to control, new outlet for LED, emergency shutoff, heat sensor, and door sensor.

- 2 people is reasonably comfortable on top bench but somewhat tight (one person gets closer to heater, I am 5'10, 185 broader shoulders for reference).
- Not very comfortable for 3 people (2 on top one on bottom - very tight, but can be done, if wanting 3 people this design is small, I would go bigger.)
- Overhead wont be able to stretch fully out. Little tight with stretching room with the small bench in front and the space left between heater (So if looking for good stretching room I would go bigger or deeper model.)
- Cant fully lay out on top bench, but could lay down and bend knees.
- I mostly use for one person and my space limitations I understood these space limitations going in, so for me it works great, but do wish I could stretch a little easier.

- Precision of wood cuts some were off and some wood pieces were warped, requiring modifications to make things fit (which is the reason for 4 stars)
- Instructions pretty straight forward, couple confusing steps that added a few hours in total time.
- Attempted to dial things down to the T with laser leveling etc.
- Door and some of the pieces surrounding door did not allow the perfect fit.
- Door when standing on a flat level surface closed on top, slight opening on bottom (layed it down fully closed, used the hinge adjustment instructions, got it closer, but still was off, checked leveling etc (heats fine and retains heat regardless, but ended up putting some gasket towards bottom). But would say that something was off on the manufacture side (This added the most time to the build time was trying get the door and glass panel walls perfect).

- Service was great, they helped talk to electrician.

- Would I recommend absolutely, I love the final product.
- It's only been 3 weeks. Don't plan on burning out the heater at 230, but had to test it after I had done multiple sessions prior to hopefully break it in.
- Otherwise hoping this thing last for many years and I am pleased!

Been a very long road from start to finish with many hiccups but Angelle, Sam and George have been great. Awesome experience start to finish. Their sales, delivery and service teams were top notch. Equally impressive was the quality of advice and product. I chose a complex build/location and the team helped me patiently months before through months after the purchase. And the end product is INCREDIBlE. My family and I have been enjoying our new large outdoor sauna in the snowy northeast almost daily. The experience and result exceeded my lofty expectations.
