I submitted a claim for the loss of a sentimental piece of jewellery via the portal on Wednesday morning expecting a drawn out and difficult process. I was contacted by SBS on Thursday morning and given the name of my claim handler Mel Rochester. Shortly after, Ben Randall got in touch to go over the details of my claim. Before COB Mel called me back to discuss settlement. Both Mel and Ben were absolutely fantastic - they dealt with my claim professionally and efficiently. I honestly can’t fault the service.

My wife had the misfortune of losing her wedding ring. After 46 years of marriage you can appreciate its loss was more of an irreplaceable sentimental value rather than an intrinsic one.
We were handed off to SBS Insurance via our own insurance company, NatWest, who indicated SBS would contact us within 48 hours.
You can imagine my surprise when we received a call back from Claire Ingram, at SBS, less than 2 hours later. Claire took details of the lost item. Although the original receipt was not available we provided her with a full description and later photos, sent by email, of the ring. This enabled Fatima Nessa, the Jewellery Claims Advisor, to contact us later the same day confirming our claim would be met. Less 4 hours had elapsed since my first call to NatWest.
With figures provided to have an identical ring made or receive a cash settlement we asked to consider our options overnight and the following morning spoke again to SBS on the direct contact number they had provided. Having decided to take the cash payment details of our Bank Account were provided and this morning the funds were received.
6 days from the date of our first contact and that included a weekend !
Both Claire and Fatima were extremely professional in their interactions with us showing empathy and compassion to the highest level. They made the whole process, which could have been quite fraught, appreciably simple.

I had to make an insurance claim, and Jake and Amy were absolute stars.
They were fast, helpful, and made the whole process completely stress-free—I called on Wednesday, and my replacement TV is already sorted!
They even helped me find a replacement for my goose-shaped lamp, Derek (RIP, courtesy of said unfortunate TV incident).

My claim was handled by Daniel White who truly went above and beyond to ensure that I got fairly compensated for the item being replaced. He noticed that my initial insurance company had made a mistake when inputting the model number for my TV and as such the offer I had received was lower than it should have been. He was open and honest about this and took the time to liaise with myself and the insurance company so the process was completely stress free.
He was genuine and warm on the phone and really went to the extra effort to ensure a fantastic customer outcome.
