Scape is terrible when it comes to…
Scape is terrible when it comes to their lifts/elevators, they always break and is never fixed. Even when it's fixed they somehow break again a few weeks later. Please do not rent with Scape it is an absolute scam where as you can find better places to rent as a student

Not worth it, overpriced and construction noise

Lived at Scape at University of Adelaide. Won't live there even if it is FREE. You can't choose the Cooler or heater(central cooling) and these scamers keep the air conditioning on for half of the winter. If you just want a address go for scape cause there is not much difference between living in scape and being homeless.

I am strongly not recommending Scape Especially scape waymouth in Adelaide I lived there for 6 month and it’s a total the worst student accommodation I’ve ever lived in they just so greedy and try to find a way with a million of excuse to get money from you . At the end of my contract I have to clean the room to avoid cleaning fees so I pay for the professional cleaners to clean up the room for 100$ and I’m pretty sure they did an excellent job the room is clean but when scape inspect the room they said they need to charge me more for cleaning 60$ for my own room and 160$ for common areas which is I also clean for it already but others people in a room still use it and of course it will get dirty again but I have to pay 160$ for the thing I couldn’t control? And it’s take forever for them to refund my security deposit back to me it’s almost a month since I move out and if didn’t call them there is no sign for them to update anything to me

They only wanna earn more money multiple inspections and cleaning fees:)

I would definitely not recommend anyone to book a room with Scape Canada Water, despite it being newly built and full with excellent facilities. If you are being allocated to a flat full of inconsiderate, loud and messy people, then you are seriously doomed, because the walls are really thin, and you can hear loud music playing, noises in the kitchen and hallway. The housekeepers only come and clean the kitchen every two weeks, and I think that really doesn't make much difference if you have terrible flatmates who would just mess up the kitchen the moment housekeeper left the kitchen. Even if you complained to the general manager about the kitchen being really dirty, flatmates dont wash their dishes and don't follow the bin rota, he won't care about it. He would just come up and shout at everyone and thats about it. After he left the flat, the flatmates would still continue making disgusting mess in the kitchen.

I have been living in Scape Canada Water since last September. I have been complaining the issues of the kitchen to different receptionists for more than 10 times, and nothing has changed.

They're not running a student accommodation but a hotel. At least they think. They charge me 429aud pr week for a tiny room without any windows I can open!! So no fresh air. That's also more than I pay for my whole apartment in Denmark. It's insane.
They charge me 30$ more pr week than all of my friends but can't explain me why. I also asked to stop my contract one month earlier and they said no and I wasn't even allowed to rent it out to someone else. When I asked them if they gonna rent it out for someone else, they didn't answer me. So they're 100% gonna have someone in my room the day after I move out even though it's actually still mine and I pay for 5 more weeks. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BS.

They are simply snatching money from students.Extremely rude and greedy staff. The management is only looting students. They don't run a student accommodation but a hotel. I left my room 10 days before completion of contract as i was going overseas. Paid them full money till the end of contract. There was an issue with my flight when I informed the manager before check out that if my flight got cancelled then maybe I have to come back. But she arrogantly said "no you are not allowed" I asked why as I have paid money for the next 11 days. She said shamelessly "you can look for any hotels around airport". I told her that it's likely I won't come but if something happens then I dont know anyone here but she completely refused.She charged me 110 dollars for "room cleaning". But the room was completely cleaned by me. But she audaciously said "kitchen needs a bit attention and washroom mirror too" i mean seriously? you charge 110 dollars for such small tasks to a student. When i said i can do it now it will only take 2 minutes to do.(although everything was cleaned the washroom mirror had some white paint stains. Which were already there before i moved into the room) but she arrogantly refused and said we don't give second chance. The manager needs a high training on speaking etiquettes and specifically how to deal with customers as they think they are dealing with "customers" not students. I will say it again they behave "worse".
I also wrote to the higher management of scape about my terrible experience but they didn't bother to reply to my email.
Not recommended at all. Don't waste your money.

I would definitely not recommend Scape to anyone for overseas study.
1. The room is very dirty, where there were rubbish in room on the day I checked in, and I only know that after I intend to move out that each person has to pay $159 for cleaning fee. My neighbour moved out several times and there were NO cleaning at all. Where the reception says that they charge for the cleaning fee as they use steam to sanitise the room. That means they are simply charge for cleaning fee but did nothing at all.
2. The room is very prone to noise and sound, I even I hear others coughing from neighbour, as I stay nearest to the kitchen, someone who made a lot of noise during 3am - 4am that I couldn't sleep at all for consecutive 3 days. I tried to call the security and they said they can only talk to them while they are making noise. One point to emphasise here: some roommates are just so unfriendly and make a lot of noise everyday without apologize. They simple do not care for others at all.
3. The room is filled with ants and insects where the Scape team does not do anything.
4. The light in my room is not working, they only come to repair it after 7 days.
5. The staff at the reception is not friendly at all, whenever I try to find a solution from them, they will simply "throw" it back to me. Apparently no issue was solve and they do not care of any problem you are facing while you stay in Scape. Only the security staff and one girl with bond hair are friendly, other than that, no one is trying to solve the issue for you at all.
6. Overall speaking, I would give it a negative 10 star to rate my experience with Scape and I would not recommend anyone to go to any Scape from any country, they simply charge the highest price with no service.

Scape Wembley represents the worst living experience that I've ever had in my entire life. Nothing could be worse. If there are negative stars I will give it negative 5 stars. That being said, if you don't want to live in hell, run from this place as fast as possible.

I stayed at Scape from Sept 2021 to June 2022, the whole time the place was a nightmare. The wifi/internet was as bad as it could ever be. There were an entire 2 months in 2021 (Sept to Nov) where there were constant internet issues and the wifi provider postponed solving the issues again and again. Many of my interviews, online tests, and assignments were hugely disrupted by the internet issue. Many students who live in the building had to run to Starbucks nearby every time they need to submit an assignment, it's just stupid.

The worst part of living at Scape is the construction noise. It will disrupt your whole life, especially if you are a student and need a quiet space for studying. The parking lot next to Scape is undergoing a big construction project (not sure what). Construction starts at 8 am and finishes at 5/6 pm, which means no sleep-ins for anybody who wants it. It goes on all day and I was not able to study or do any of my job interviews in my room. Anyone who knows the area of Wembley understands that there are a lot of construction projects in the area and the noises are particularly obvious (see my pictures from April to June 2022).

Speaking of noises, there are also boxpark and Wembley stadium. I would say do not live in Wembley at all if you like a quiet life. There will be regular soccer matches/concerts at Wembley stadium, and party noises from boxpark from Thursday to Saturday until very late at night (yes, you can hear them even on higher floors). The whole Wembley area becomes very crowded, chaotic, and noisy whenever a concert/soccer game goes on.

There are only 3 elevators in the whole tall building of Scape, and one of them often runs into some kind of issue which will take Scape quite some time to fix. So yes, you will spend a lot of time waiting for the elevator if you live on higher floors. They are particularly slow, and the trash cans are in the courtyard which you need to take the elevator down to get to them. This is a lot of effort and very tiring. I just can't believe the number of times when the elevator had issues.

It's not just the elevator which had issues, the washing machine which costs a fortune to use also had constant issues. Scape uses Circuit Laundry - this provider charges somewhere around £2.50 for a wash / £2 for a dry (don't remember the specific numbers). So you spend approx. £5 for each laundry. To save money I didn't wash my clothes too many times using the washing machine, I try to wash them by hand whenever I can.

It will be very, very hot during April to Sept for higher floor rooms that are facing the parking lot. Trust me! Very hot! There is no way that you could stay in the room on the higher floor during the summer w/t AC. And their stupid coloured curtains don't block out lights at all, which prevents me from falling asleep. I had to purchase a total blackout window film from Amazon to solve the issue. The design of the room is bad for light sleeper.

Wind hazards are also annoying at Scape. During the rainy months in the winter (Nov to Feb), on the higher floors, you hear the wind noises all the time.

And it's not even that convenient to travel to central London especially when there are tube strikes.

Lastly, I have not enjoyed interacting with the staff there. I would say most of them are unfriendly. Only a couple of the night staffers are kind and tried to help me solve issues. In April there was a change in the management team, and I heard it has been worse ever since the change in management.

I'm as specific and as articulate as I can in this instance because these are my true words and true experiences. Anywhere in London would offer better living experiences than Scape Wembley.

Ho scelto di avere uno studio per essere più autonoma: esperienza da non ripetere. La stanza allo Scape Shoreditch di Londra era sporca, ho trovato ovunque caramelle sputate e polvere, nonchè macchie. Il frigo era sporco e di notte gli altri residenti facevano rumore e fumavano ( cosa vietata) nelle stanze. La puzza di fumo arrivava anche da me. A nulla è servito chiedere alla reception, assai poco disponibile e spesso assente. Esperienza da non ripetere.

I've stayed here for the past year and I've had one of the best experiences. The rooms are bright, vibrant and of a decent size. They have excellent facilities and offers such as a free 24 HOUR GYM and discounted tickets to various football games, theatre shows and loads of other fancy events!
Other than that, the staff are friendly and so are the residents. Scape is in fact a great place to meet and socialize with new people from all kinds of backgrounds. They hold events and parties all throughout the year to help the residents mingle and interact with each other.
