Unavailability of part so order cancelled. Notified that refund was issued; however, it was almost $20.00 less than I had paid when the order was placed. Several calls to Sears Parts Direct (a fiasco) and was told that the remainder (i.e., shipping charge would be processed separately). Automated system is horrible and had extreme difficulty understanding and communicating with representatives!

To whom I hope this concerns at SEARS; I am writing to express my utter disgust with your company's products and warranty policies. I purchased a new Kenmore refrigerator some two years ago or so and it has never worked for a period of more than 3 - 4 months continuously. I've filed numerous food losses coupled with numerous service repair appointments all resulting in an inferior product that still has not delivered SEARS's promise of quality and dependability. In addition to these facts, I have paid for numerous additional Master Protection Plans that were to help ensure my investment would last, alas it has not. The amount of time that I have spent with service calls, customer support calls, food loss reports, waiting for parts, even taking time off of work to meet with your many technicians (all who have confirmed that this particular model of refrigerator is known to be defective due to its parts being manufactured in China) has only fueled my disbelief and frustration with SEARS. Most recently I have moved my residence so I begrudgingly purchased a SEARS whole home warranty to cover the appliances and heating/cooling systems at our new home, and I specifically stated that the defective Kenmore refrigerator was NOT to be included in the new coverage due to it still being under its existing Master Protection Plan. Well to no surprise it is STILL having problems working and when I called in to once again have SEARS come out and service this defective machine I am being told that I need to pay yet more money for repair because SEARS considers the issue to be pre-existing. Your company is nothing but a bunch of inept criminals capable of only confusion and graft. I will post the letter along with many more to come on every Social Media platform that the internet has to offer! This is the worst experience I have ever had with what used to be a reliable American institution and I nor my family will absolutely never purchase a SEARS product again. PS, Sears just contacted me and offered to give me 15% discount if I wanted to purchase a new refrigerator from them. Of course they would not offer to replace the lemon appliance they sold me in the first place, nor apply the amount that I've already paid for said lemon towards a new purchase. Also not to include all of the prior Master Protection Agreement costs, missed time from work to meet with their technicians, and the trouble and inconvenience (to state very mildly) as well. They did however state that they are going to offer training to their technicians to ensure that they wouldn't solicit anymore misinformation about their products to the public. Those technicians have been the only honest employees that I have encountered through SEARS, so it just figures that silencing those who have the character to tell the truth would be the remedy Sears would choose to solve future problems when they occur.

Our Microwave oven quit working November 29th 2023 , I called for a service appt. first appt was 12/14/23 they cancelled that morning rescheduled to 12/21/23, parts ordered 2 weeks later returned to fix wasn't the right parts , more parts ordered never received parts , was told part wasn't available send part for RFR (return for repair) was shipped back to me UNFIXED , finally 2/12/23 they approve replacement microwave I still had to pay $120 and now the microwave delivery is being cancelled every other day ! Now been on the phone and hour and a half to cancel the protection agreement and been transferred 5 times and no one can do their job ! We bought a new microwave and installed it ourselves ( Oh and they told us we had to find our own installer for the replacement microwave) We will never ever buy anything from sears or purchase there pathetic master protection agreements ! worst customer service EVER !! DO NOT USE SEARS FOR ANYTHING !!

I’ve had a serious credit card since 1999 or 2000 I disputed a charge it was deducted from my bill then added on and I asked him to please deduct it, they said no, so I closed my account. Next time they should have people answering the phone that understand English because it’s so hard to understand them Because of that I close my account. Very disgusted with Sears or Citibank. Whoever it is. You lost a great customer of almost 25 years.
Sears is Crap
I have a tape player/recorder in which the belt had gone bad. I saw Sears had a "professional" tape recorder belt replacement kit with many sizes. I thought this will be a repair for my tape recorder. I paid $20.79 with shipping for the kit. What I got in the mail was a bag of rubber bands. I initiated a return. After 21 days I received $11.31. This was after I contacted Sears. It took an hour to find a way to contact them. I will never make another purchased from sears. I hope sears goes the way of the Dodo.

Mi peor compra en mis 47 años
En diciembre quise actualizar mi tarjeta en la tienda del centro y me dijeron que "los miércoles no hacen cambios" y me mandaron a comprar en línea para que me fuera. No sirvió la tarjeta y tuve que pagarlo con crédito bancario. El 22 de diciembre adquirí una cocineta con fecha de entrega entre le 19 y el 24 de enero. A los pocos días de la compra me hablaron (según de parte de la tienda) para avisar que al día siguiente llevarían la cocineta y mandé a retirar el fregadero. No llegaron y durante 3 días más seguían marcando para confirmar la recepción del producto y que checarían con el chófer qué pasó. Dejaron de hablar y nadie en ningún lugar puede resolver nada. Hoy es 24 de enero a las 20.49 y no ha llegado y nadie se ha comunicado para alguna aclaración.

Sears deserves ZERO stars they are probably one of the WORST companies to call for repairs. After my $350 dryer repair with an incompetent repair man (not to mention aggressive sales man) my appliance broke again within 3 weeks. Sears wanted to charge me another $99 for them to come back to look at it. Do yourself a favor and NEVER call SEARS. They should be permanently closed.
Part Returned, No Refund
I made the mistake of ordering a part for my GE range from Sears. I specifically gave the salesperson the code number of the part. But he insisted you do not worry; I will find a part which he said has five lighters. However, when asked to send me a picture, he did not want to send me a picture. Anyway, I felt he works for Sears, so he would not lie. That was a big mistake. Sears is no longer a good company as I had known it 20 years ago. It is a scam.
However, I got a part that was not even close to what I had asked for. So I returned it right away, which they received four days later. I waited for my refund, which never came. So I called ten days later. After going through all the buttons the computer asked for, I finally reached a person (by the way, there is no option for a refund) who transferred me to the person in charge of the refund. She admitted it had been 11 days since the refund had not been issued and promised to email me within an hour to confirm that it had been issued. It is now two days later, with no refund or email. I tried to contact Sears again, but the computer only tells me to go online but there is no option for a refund. It is the worst company I have dealt with, and I will never contact or do business with Sears again.
I always check reviews of a company before I do business with it. But I trusted the old Sears, so I did not bother. However, when it did this to me, I checked its reviews and discovered that Sears gets the lowest review, 1 out of five.

I have been waiting for a technician to service my oven since 1/5/2024. Sears came out and claim that they ordered 2 parts to repair my oven. They told me I would receive an email with a tracking number. I received 1 part, never received an email. Since then I have made 4 return calls for them to tell me we just waiting on the other part. Before Sears went out of business, they were a dependable company. This little made up contractor they call Sears is trash. They give fake updates, and sorry is all they offer. The only truth they have spoke so far. I told my warranty company to refund my money or send a reliable contractor. And then Sesrs has the nerve to ask me if I want to do home improvement with them. Absolutely NOT!!! I can't even get a repair technician, why would I want anything else from them

Sear is the one of the worst company to have issues with. I got their $400 3 year protection agreement on my oven that goes out every year right around Sept or Oct. I paid over 5k for it and it made it 1 year before it started having problems. I took the 5 year plan out when I got it and now I have this plan going on year 6. Well it not working again right around Oct tech came out didn't do much and said we have to order a part here it is January and still haven't gotten the part. I called in on the 14 of Dec and they said they would replace it and I would get email in 7 or 10 business days. I never got anything I called back today Jan 9 and now there part on its way and they won't replace it. Now just so everyone knows this is the 4 Thanksgiving and Christmas my family has gone without oven and microwave because it's a combo unit. They see that they said they would replace but since the parts been ship now they won't and I have to wait to get the part before I can set up the appt for the tech to come out. So it be probably another 2 or 3 weeks for that happens and the best thing is if this don't fix it we get to start this all over again. SEARS doesn't care about there customers period can't even talk to management when u do have them on the phone they won't do it and just keep repeating there self over and over. I feel like I have gotten robbed at this point and cops won't do anything about it even know they know and saw who did it. DONT USE SEARS.

Terrible, además de dar una fecha para entrega y no cumplirla, me cancelaron la compra diciendo que no hay en el inventario, pero en la pagina sigue apareciendo como "7 ultimas unidades", eso si, mas costoso. Son una estafa las "ofertas"
Undesirable technician interaction
On Friday December 22nd, 2023 I sent you a copy of email regarding what I titled Undesirable technician interaction. The technician was identified as R----- who was sent to my home to address an ongoing issue with the Dryer. Problem with the dryer is it requires two cycles to get clothes completely dry.
Rafael via his telephone call & without even being at my home concluded it is a vent problem. Please note in September of 2023 the vent was completely cleaned with a (what I call snake apparatus) both from interior and exterior to ensure there was no lint clogging.
In addition, in October of 2023. , the heating element for dryer was replaced.
As sated in my previous email, R----- refused to even checked for any other possibility for this continued problem with the dryer.
Last night, December 26th, 2023 my washing machine leaked water onto my wooden floor. The hose was still connected to the washer. From what I noticed it appeared the water was leaking from bottom of machine.
Because I have nothing but one problem after another, I contacted Sears (844-553-6667) this morning requesting that they come and pick up both Washer and Dryer & I requested a refund. Both appliances are still under warranty. The person I spoke with was identified as S------.
S------ informed me that it would have to be up to repair technician to make the decision as to whether I can get a refund for the appliances.
I am very confused about this, since I am reporting I am not satisfied with Dyer & now the washer which are istill under warranty. I believe this may fall under Customer Satisfaction Act.
Prior to purchasing these items I had a Kenmore washer and dryer for approximately 24 years. I had only two problems with these machines since owning them. One was the dryer required a new belt; and, the washer needed repair because it was not rinsing clothes completely.
