My daughter has recently purchased a different horse so we needed to purchase a new saddle. We found the best selection and prices available from Sheepham Saddles. I rang initially for advice and received a very helpful reply. Then having placed the order everything worked like clockwork with delivery communication etc. I especially liked the aspect of the saddle trial period having been advised that if there were issues with saddle fitter delays this could be extended. Wonderful service.

We are extremely happy with our new saddle. The service I received was exceptional. The saddle arrived next day, as promised and is exactly as described. Jo was very helpful and dealt with my many questions with good grace. We went for the 5 day trial but were able to get our saddle fitter the day after it was delivered, he was very impressed with it and luckily it fits both our horse and my daughter beautifully. I would 100% recommend Sheepham Saddles.

Great customer service, I ordered the saddle and was able to pick it up the day before my saddle fitter appointment.
The saddle fitted both me and my horse with no problems and I am very happy with it! Jo took my saddle in part exchange at a very favourable price. I would highly recommend Sheepham Saddles - they definitely have that personal touch!

Jo was brilliant. She asked for a photo of my horse and we took it from there. I’m in Scotland and she made everything so easy!!! The second saddle fitted and I sent her my saddle to sell too which again makes life so much easier.

Absolutely outstanding

Jo at Sheephams was brilliant from the beginning, really listening to the problems we were having with our difficult to fit pony, which I believed to be caused by her professionally fitted saddle (our master saddler, on the other hand, was not listening). Jo recommended several styles and brands, most of which didn’t work for one reason or another and we had several shipments back and forth, but she didn’t give up on us! We tried one last saddle on a whim and bingo - our pony moved so differently it was astonishing. It needed work - our new saddler re-felted and stuffed it - but now it’s about as perfect as it can be. Sheephams bought our first (excellent but unwanted) saddle from us at a decent price too. A great company to deal with and Jo is an asset to them.

Well where to start!… This company is the absolute best there is in the UK. I have ordered saddles from other companies in the past and Sheepham shine far brighter than any other. The customer service I received from Jo was second to none. Having ordered a saddle before Christmas which arrived swiftly with great communications as to its delivery.. I quickly realised I had ordered the wrong saddle. This was absolutely no problem and Jo was so lovely to help me out. The saddle got collected ( organised by Jo) the following day and the one I should have ordered immediately after. Amazing! Thank you Jo! I will be spreading the word in Somerset. One VERY happy customer.

I doubt Sheepham Saddles will have a happier pair of customers this year than Freya and Bouncer. Buying a saddles has proved a nightmare! If only I had spoken to Jo earlier in the process. She was patient, knowledgeable and flexible. Thanks to her we have found the most amazing saddle and I could not recommend them highly enough!

Shipping is fast, and the saddles arrive in excellent condition. Some issues with cancellations and refunds, but overall, they provide quality saddles and reliable communication. Would recommend to others with confidence.

The customer service on this company is excellent as are the saddles. The saddles are accurately described with prompt despatch and easy to return if they do not fit. I can't recommend enough thank you Jo.

I sent my dressage saddle to Sheepham Saddles to be sold. I spoke to Jo who confirmed that she had received my saddle, this is back in Aug 22. I have heard nothing since and when I have tried to contact them I have been met with silence! Stay aware from this company!

Sheepham Saddles offers a mix of experiences. While their customer service can be outstanding, with quick shipping and helpful staff eager to assist even across different time zones, there are challenges with order cancellations and returns. A previous order required the use of PayPal Resolution for a refund, with unexpected fees. They provide knowledgeable support and careful packaging, especially for international orders, but the refund process could be smoother. Overall, a decent experience but with room for improvement in certain areas.

I've used Sheepham saddles before but this most recent time will be the last. Beware if you need to cancel an order or return an item, you will have a devil of a time getting a refund. I am having to use Paypal Resolution to process mine and despite having fully agreed to the £10 cancellation fee I now find that has doubled to £20.

Jo from Sheepham saddles is just the best. I needed a saddle but live in Kenya and she was so helpful and knowledgeable. She helped me find the perfect saddle and also changed the gullet in it before packaging it really carefully to be shipped out to me. The communication was fantastic and the saddle that arrived was better than I expected and in perfect condition! My mare loved her new saddle, thank you Jo! 10/10 would recommend to a friend!

Outstanding service! I ordered a saddle from the UK to NZ - ordered on the Friday, arrived on the Monday. Couldn't believe it! Awesome customer service, answering many questions back and forth, often out of hours (due to time difference) and really went to extra measures to help us find what we needed. Couldn't be happier! Thanks again.

I’ve given a 2 star rather than a 1 star to at least acknowledge that the ordering and initial delivery of the saddle were a smooth process. But sadly it went downhill from there. After trialling the saddle I needed to return it and raised the request online. I started to get concerned after a couple of days that I had heard nothing and was going beyond the terms of the 5 day trial, so contacted Sheepham. They apologized, advised they had an issue with their website and immediately arranged DPD collection. The driver who collected the item was rude, did not label the parcel (as is advised in the returns instructions) did not provide/refused to provide a receipt. I immediately raised these concerns with Sheepham. They have not responded and four days later I have had no acknowledgement that they’ve received the saddle back nor the refund. Now chasing the issue with my card issuer to pursue a refund through them. But on this basis I wouldn’t recommend this company for a saddle trial. Wish I’d stuck with saddle bank or saddles direct.
Update .. upon posting this review, Jo has contacted me directly to confirm safe receipt of the saddle and that my refund and a gesture of goodwill have been processed. Thank you Jo, I have lifted my review to 3 stars as a result
