🛑 My Honest Experience with ShellyBlossomHair Studio – Please Read Before Booking 🛑
I want to share my experience to help others make informed decisions.
I have a medical condition that causes hair loss and affects my hair follicles. After researching, I found ShellyBlossomHair Studio on Instagram, where Shelly is presented as a specialist for people with alopecia, which gave me hope.
I paid €1,230 for a closure install, extensions, and a custom wig. Unfortunately, the wig never arrived, and I was refunded €660 for unused items. However, I was charged €570 for the install, which was uncomfortable and did not meet my expectations. I had to remove it the same day due to pain and issues with the fit.
The closure was positioned farther back than I expected, exposing my braids, and the lace color didn’t match my scalp. The braids were very tight, causing discomfort and tension on my scalp, which is not suitable for someone with hair loss.
I sought help from a holistic hair specialist in Berlin who confirmed this method is not recommended for alopecia and assisted me in removing the netting, which was very tight and concerning.
I offered a partial refund of €300 to Shelly, acknowledging her time, but the full €570 was kept despite my experience.
I traveled to Berlin specifically for this appointment, investing time, money, and trust, and now I will need to seek another solution.
I share this honestly so others can be informed. Please consider this carefully before booking.
