I contacted Simply after having a bad experience with another broker, from the moment I first spoke to Caroline she was kind, understanding, reassuring and very knowledgeable. I could pick up the phone any time and nothing was ever too much trouble for her. I had been through some very difficult financial circumstances and when my fears arose Caroline would always be there to reassure me. When the mortgage came through, she was in fact, even more excited and happy than I was, not because she had earnt from it but genuinely so happy that we had got to where we needed to be to help me and my family.

I have already recommended Caroline and Simply a number of times and will continue to do so.

We contacted the Team a while back as we was buying a new house and was still tied into our current mortgage. Caroline contacted us and was very reassuring she would be able to help. She explained everything she was doing and kept in contact with us at all times.
This is not the first time we have used the company and when our fixed rate is due at the end of the year I will most definitely be contacting them for help.

Simply lending have managed to secure us a mortgage on an unusual property where other brokers were unable to help. They have been unfailingly courteous and helpful and also prompt to respond. Negatives are they didn't always check thoroughly certain details and it was up to me to ask searching questions to get the best deal. As long as you do your own due diligence, this team will look after the rest. If you are struggling to get a regular mortgage I would recommend Simply Lending.

Please if you phone up for a mortgage and get Jamie just hang up and try again. Further if you get passed to Aaron in the phoenix team just go find another company.

For two people like my wife and me having credit scores in the 980’s our application should have been very very easy. How wrong we were. 36 days after the first contact the vendor wouldn’t hold the house of our dreams any longer and has sold it to someone else.

It’s all the more annoying as I earn more than enough to cover the new mortgage myself without taking into account my wife’s earnings.

A complete disaster of a company who Jamie urged me not to complain about as he is self employed and negative reviews affects his family income.

My phone request for information on a mortgage for a non UK resident, an area in which the company promotes themselves as specialists, was met with snark and attitude. Having nevertheless given my details I did not receive any follow up contact. I therefore can not comment on their services as they failed to offer any. I also can not leave a review on review.co.uk, their preferred service, as not being a verified customer I have no access to it. That restriction could have something to do with the high scorings showing on their website. From my brief contact with the company a very unpleasant, unprofessional and unsatisfactory experience. There are more professional alternatives out there.

Caroline was an absolute star. Everything was done ASAP. Quick , easy efficient. As first time buyers at first everything felt a bit overwhelming but Caroline made us feel at ease, explained everything simply and helped us every step of the way. An absolutely amazing service from Caroline.
