I want to call out Gemma, BDM in Vida’s Premier Hub, for her outstanding support on a recent case. There was some confusion over a CML form, and the case got stuck in a loop between underwriting and the valuer with no clear way forward.

Gemma stepped in, took complete ownership and expedited the process brilliantly. Within 24 hours it was all resolved. As a broker, it makes a huge difference to have this kind of BDM support. My client was kept on track, and I was kept informed at every step.

I have used Vida, when their products suit the needs of the customer, on several occasions and they are above average on most things and their online application system is actually superior to most. Easy PT process - 1 point and area to improve upon, would be to make the account number available to the broker ( fine if limited to originator) to avoid the customer having to call and then provide the information
Otherwise really good slick process

Initial application failed on the house we were renting due to it being near to a social club. We appealed but this was not overturned, fair enough.

Second house everything went through, some wobbles around my market supplement but this was considered and accepted. The new house is much better so it all makes sense.

As the sort of customer Vida is geared towards I can only say how happy we are to have got a mortgage.

Vida do what they say, they look properly at your circumstances and are fair. We needed to answer some questions around my credit profile but nothing intrusive.

We also got cashback on the mortgage which helped pay the legal fees which was excellent.

Vida were excellent with their communication with me providing regular updates. Their turnaround times were excellent for a specialist lender and I was particularly impressed with the direct calls I received from the underwriter. A turnaround time of 7 working days from app to offer and that included a valuation being carried out on the property. My client had only started contracting just over 3 months ago but with prior industry experience, Vida accepted his application. Very impressed and I will definitely consider using Vida again.
