well over market price on every item and they have a cheek to say they price match

Simply sound will upload goods they don't have in stock and when you buy no goods get delivered to you and then you phone thay will tell you it's not in the warehouse and you can get a refund with a (e cheque) this can take up to 10 working days this is done to pay the rent on the building Very dishonest behaviour this company has got beware of them

Avoid these guys if you Live in Northern Ireland.
Apparently once againt we have a .co.uk company who thinks Northern Ireland is part of the Republic of Ireland and does not deliver to us.

These types of Companies need to realise they are biting the hand that feeds them so I;'ll just get my stuff locally or from Amazon.co.uk from now on...

As I was unable to reply to the companies statement below I am doing it here.
I was not given the opportunity to make new arrangements to take receipt of the product in 72 hrs rather than next day and you took it upon yourself to cancel and refund the order without asking.

I was making this purchase for a time critical event.

In future check with your suppliers so that you can at least inform your customers that you can not actually deliver to them.

Delivery can obviously be made to Scotland, Wales but not Northern Ireland. Wondering if can not be delivered to Northern Ireland how it can in 72 hrs?

Items received, issues dealt with promptly to a satisfactory conclusion

Ordered a couple of speakers, they were exactly as described, at a great price. Had a small issue with one of them, the company arranged a return and sent a replacement with no fuss at all. Absolutely brilliant

Excellent customer service and delivery.
We had a query, the staff replied and sorted it immediately.
This is the 2nd time we've used them and will definitely be using them again.
Would highly recommend simply sound and lighting to anyone.

I have traded TWICE with this firm in a year. And TWICE they have more than fulfilled my expectations. Unlike another well-known company (who cash your order & ship when they feel like it!, a nasty American practice I despise! - (using COVID or whatever fashionable excuse is to hand) SMAL were courteous, answered my query exactly and more to the point CAME THROUGH WITH THE GOODS. No excuses. no blarney, just quality services. Most of all, they value ANY level of order - not like some companies who treat home recordists as inconveniences. Whether it is a £60.00 mic or a Mackie desk with all the trimmings, THEY DELIVER. 11/10 & 6 stars.

Ordered a party speaker yesterday 11am was here by 2pm today. Excellent expirence.

Did quite a bit of research to find the best price on a particular wireless set up for my son's guitar recently. These guys came out on top and were great. Delivery was super fast and the online shopping transaction very easy.

Very similar experience to the review below. Paid for and ordered some speakers that were advertised as 'in stock' at point of sale. A few days later I had a phone call advising me there had been some error and it wasn't in fact in stock, and told me if I wanted them I would wait between 9-14 days for new stock to arrive. We are now past the 14 days and I received an email notifying me that they now won't be in stock until August, offering me an inferior alternative. Its just disappointing that they have had my money for almost 3 weeks and I am back at square one. I will say that the staff were extremely apologetic and have been professional throughout, perhaps I have been unlucky here. I will not be shopping with them again however as it has been a bit of a joke.

Truly hopeless. The speakers are in stock, oh no they are not, may be delayed a couple of days, oh no the delivery didn't arrive. Just keep pushing the delivery back. Cancelled order & deeply frustrated. Don't rely on this company if you need your items in a rush (or even in a realistic timeframe).

i used to rate this company but since i had to have a mixer repaired under warranty that has changed.....i will never use them again.
i was told the repair would take 3 weeks so i sent it off to the repairer on 5/12/19 it has arrived at my work address today 13/01/20...
after many telephone calls simply sound & lighting said they would chase it all good you think WRONG the repair shop closed before xmas till the new year (lots of work lost here waiting for a mixer) and no one has even checked the progress of the repair as when i spoke to the repairer 08/01/20 they were waiting for back order parts from germany....
i again spoke to simply on friday 10/01/20 and was told there was nothing they could do to help as it was down to the repairer and they told me they would chase it and phone me (they never even did that) i got an email(Hi Steve,

Thanks for your call earlier. I’m afraid I still don’t have firm information from the manufacturer for you. It appear they still haven’t received the part. They just responded to my email, saying the following: “Please accept our apologies for the delay in correspondence. The part required is due imminently and we should be able to resolve this return very soon for you.”

I think your best option would be to get hold of another mixer as you need one urgently and it looks like this repair will take some more time.

they even gave the repair shop an address that is not mine it was in the west midlands i live in cheshire..
so after going out on saturday and buying another mixer as they said it may take a while my faulty one arrives ...
not only did simply not get the sale of a new mixer but have lost out on all my future business and this will be posted on all forums i visit..
