Slade's Garden and Building Supplies Reviews 

I feel compelled to share my experience to help others avoid the stress and cost i've endured. I ordered a large number of slabs which were delivered without protective packing. When unpacked, all but two were visibly marked and damaged, making them completely unsuitable for use.

Despite reaching out promptly and providing a clear explanation (along with photo evidence), I was met with a dismissive response blaming the product description rather than addressing the issue of poor packaging and handling. The slabs I previously bought and laid from the same brand were fine - this batch was clearly mishandled.

What's worse, after sending a calm and reasonable follow-up, I was met with rudeness and now complete silence. I've had to delay work and absorb extra costs through no fault of my own.

Customer service is just as important as the product - and in this case, both were lacking. I strongly recommend others look elsewhere if they want quality products and professional service.

After spending over £1000 with this company, my third order arrived damaged (30 slabs - 3 broken slabs and the rest were badly chipped). I emailed straight away with all the pics. I had to make 3 phones calls to get any response and was then met with rude customer service (Jess), who claimed she couldn't see any problems with the slabs. No apology, just an aggressive attitude! Will not be using this company again, no matter how cheap they are.

Very pleased with the product. Estimated quantity was spot on. Delivery was on time and the driver was very helpful.

Slade's is not an honest company and their sales methods are overly complicated.

When reviewing order you have to download a completely separate app on your phone, you cannot check delivery on pc.

Not only that the only notification you get of delivery is on the morning of delivery leaving you not time to plan to receive a ton bag of materials.

Oh and they will charge you £75 if you are not there to sign for the delivery.

What they advertise on their website is not exactly what you will get either, so be very wary of what you are purchasing l, oh and if you want to return anything it will cost you £75 and 50% stock charge...per pallet.

I will never use Slade's again and I will never recommend them to anyone, I will slow be going out of my way to tell people to avoid them.

Great product and delivery on time.

How easy it was to order on line, have the order confirmed with a delivery date within a few days. Payment by Debit card all done with the minimum of fuss. Much cheaper than B&Q. Customer services were very helpful. Thank You.

From purchase to delivery everything was great thank you

Customer service was excellent . I had a query regarding delivery I spoke on the phone to a member of staff who was very helpful and sorted out my query with no problems. The goods arrived in good time when stated and in good condition. I would highly recommend this company and it's service.

The product was exactly what we ordered, it was a better price than any local supplier and was delivered quickly and efficiently.

We ordered they delivered and even put the slabs exactly where we wanted them to go. Good service.

Great price and speedy delivery

Although not happy that the broken slabs were not replaced, but I was refunded for the damaged slabs.
Zoey was quick to respond to my queries.
But the company needs to be able deliver goods into the garden and not on the kerbside

absolutely great company , cheaper than anywhere else but quality is just as good free delivery from the company ( bonus ) we used the patio set X2 to make a garden path was done same day as delivery and we are over the moon

Great service, really helpful and the slabs are great. Only a couple of broken ones out of 200+ isn't bad. Paid extra for guaranteed morning delivery which was well worth it.
Definitely recommend.
