We were (and still are) very impressed with the efficient way the solar pannels and battery were installed. The work was done neatly and with courtesy.

The pannels and battery have reduced our electricity use, which is great.

Small points: The '% charge' read out on the battery pack itself (in the garage) is a bit hard to see without a torch but the app is helpful: to see how the battery is charging etc. In hindsight- we would have liked a bit longer 'app' demo'. We had not realised until the end of the install that there was a need to install the app on a smart phone/tablet link- (the solar pannels we had on our old house did not link to a battery).

The company that put the scaffold up left it in place for a couple of days after the install - turned out a neighbour was also having solar pannels installed later that week- made sense but would have been good to know.

We had a new update on our internet early December 2022.
Our app that enables us to look at real time generation from solar panels. Stoped working, something to do with the dongle they said. Rang solar style over the past 8 weeks, but they were unable to fix the problem until today.
We are pleased it as now been fixed after a long wait.
The man who came had it sorted within 15 minutes.

We are thinking of adding more batteries, hope this doesn’t Tate as long.

Overall we found Sola Style very good.

The 25th of October 2022 lost Solar Edge Inverter, this is the second time this has happened. We had our 16 panels installed March 2017. A new Inverter has been installed it's taken 112 day's this is lost revenue. Where does the blame lie in taking so long sorting this out. I would like to give Jenerfier a 5 star for helping with the Administration and a 5 star to M. Wajid for the new inverter installation.

So yet again we have been let down by Solarstyleuk Teesside . Weeks and weeks of dealing with just one lady, who tries to be helpful, but flatly refuses to put us through to anyone in management. We had solar panels fitted last year, excellent service. Batteries fitted before Christmas.... less said about that. It was only when our amazing electrician Rick Rawson Electricals came to wire in our oven he pointed out some very dodgy work Mismatching the circuit breakers to the manufacturer of the board is a contravention of our wiring regs. Reg number 536.4.203. He even spoke to the Solarstyle electrical quality inspector at the end of January who agreed it was shoddy work and why the breakers needed to be removed leaving us without any solar power being generated. We've been fobbed off by solar style uk with one pathetic reason after another. Today was the final straw when they were supposed to be coming to sort the problem only to be told they haven't managed to get the parts, after weeks of waiting, and won't be coming till next week. These parts apparentlt onky cost about £13 each and if our electrician could get them for us i fail to see why solar style cant! They've had weeks to source them. If they fitting other peoples batteries then they must have the parts! The after sales service and after care is extremely poor. Solarstyle should be ashamed of themselves, which I doubt they will be. If anyone else has batteries fitted by them make sure you check the workmanship after. The video I posted on facebook shows what poor work looks like and which was "supposedly " passed onto managers but no response or apology. Perhaps they condone this type of work.

I liked the salesman. He was not at all pushy. He have me the facts and explained everything very well. There was no pressure to sign up quickly, which would have really put me off.
On the appointed day, the scaffolders turned up. The next day the panels and equipment were installed and the day after that the scaffolding was taken down. All done and dusted in three days. We started generating power at the end of day two.

There have been no issues or problems since. The installation has worked very well and in eight months has generated well over 4,000 kWH.

Great service. The installers worked really hard late into the evening.

Full explanation of product given prior to installation, and neat job done. We have certainly seen the benefit in reduced electricity bills. My only advice would be that bird netting should be considered at time of installation - we were plagued with pigeons trying to nest under the panels and subsequently had netting placed at substantial extra cost owing the hire of scaffolding or a second time.

My panels were fitted free in Summer 2022 as part of Local Authority Delivery grant scheme with my local council. Solar Style were the nominated installer provided by the Energy Company Obligation scheme through EON so did not choose them myself.
That said I have no complaints about my experience. The sales/installation team were approachable, kept me informed and answered any queries I had. The electricians work was very neat and the solar panel installers were friendly, came on time and the work looks secure and neat and tidy.
It would have been useful to have had an information pack available for people having installations with these schemes about the benefits of the solar panels and installation process before I went ahead as no sales people are involved but am very happy with the outcome despite that. All necessary registrations and certificates were supplied by Solar Style following the installation within a couple of weeks.
I am looking forward to the longer days to take full advantage of the panels.

A good price panels installed and working well. Long delay for battery but now on Octopus Go charging solar batteries, 2electric cars dishwasher and washing machine overnight.

Excellent service by the technical people. Office staff were helpful. The panels and battery have exceeded my expectations. Thoroughly recommended

When the workmen arrived they got straight on with the work. Panels were installed quicky.

Electricians worked out where to put the cables quicky and carried out the work with no mess.

All workmen were polite and respectful of our property.

Very efficient team, minimal intrusion, job done in a couple of days. Panels are great - 3kw np on a sunny day. Very happy.

Clear quotation verbal not written.
Contract entered into a few issues with scaffolding but installation completed 6.4KW powering 2 batteries and the house. Additional batteries added to keep as much power as we could 3.5p per KW from feed in not very good. Iboost heats water once the batteries are full.

We had our solar panels May 2022.
Engineers arrived on time and installed the solar panels and batteries with very little fuss. I was very pleased with their professionalism and the final result. We did though have an issue with the App not working, but an engineer called round and rectified the problem.
Since installation our bills have reduced significantly and any excess charge is sold back to the grid. During the winter months we do get some charge, but as our roof is west facing we are considering further panels on our east facing roof to pick up the morning sun. Investing in solar panels has definitely a worthwhile exercise for us.
