The space was so easy to use, Liam and Dawn were absolutely amazing. Very helpful and made using the space such a delight. They were there to answer all my questions. The space was absolutely worth it, we had so many walk ins and the event was a huge success. The location could’nt have been more perfect.

Sook Spaces are incredible! An absolute god send for small businesses with all the infrastructure such as rails, shelves, desks etc there. Transitioning from digital to physical can be extremely costly, not only with the rental costs of a pop-up however also the the build level of quality of the stand needed to reflect well on the brand. Sook provide a cost effective and convenient solution to these problems through hire of their stunning spaces. As their spaces are digitally enabled, you can completely take over the space as brand it is as your own. Many of my customers thought my brand, Sharpe Shape, was a permanent store within St James Quarter after visiting my pop-up. The level & quality of footfall was equally impressive and I was overjoyed with the positive interactions I could have with existing customers as well as introducing new customers to my brand. The sales surpassed my expectations too. Overall, a really enjoyable experience - I’m now looking to book a weekend in another Sook Space in a different city. Clara and the team made the process a breeze. Would 100% recommend to all businesses, large or small!

I worked with the Sook team on a university student enterprise project that culminated in the work being presented the public in one of the Sook Spaces in Central London.
The support from the entire team that I liaised with was professional, understanding and friendly throughout. The set-up on location was super easy and any queries or challenges were responded to not only quickly but warmly - we were never made to feel like guests (although we treated the place as such).
The students, who are the most important people in this situation were absolutely impressed and loved the space, it’s flexibility and contemporary look and feel. They felt professional, respected and they responded accordingly- they raised their game, enjoyed themselves and did an awesome job with their projects! We had a great response from the public, the university teams and senior leadership that visited and all were impressed!
I have been raving about Sook to anyone who would listen and on behalf of London College of Fashion (Fashion Business School), we are thankful and delighted to have produced the project and worked with Sook to deliver a high quality experience for all involved and are looking forward to future collaborations!

The sook space was perfect for my pop up shop. It was really easy to navigate the space, they have a wide variety of furniture available so you can personalise it to your liking. Really great location so there was a lot of foot fall. Over

We booked sook for 5 consecutive days Monday-Friday the week of the jubilee. It cost over £4000 (which we paid up front on the day we were booked in, around two weeks prior).
2 working days before we arrived I was told there was no functional toilet in the building. Money paid, no option to cancel I’m being told that it’ll “likely get sorted but no guarantee”.
They said they had arranged toilets for us, fair enough? When we arrived they had sorted a toilet in a separate building. Said building was closed on bank holiday Thursday and Friday (no one had told us) so me and my 3 employees are running around like headless chickens trying to use the toilet at a local bar or McDonald’s or something. Not ideal, plenty of our tiktoks had blown up so lots of people were there off the back of our social media. So difficult to have to take 20 minutes to wee instead of popping downstairs for 2 minutes when we’re rushed off our feet with customers.
Not to mention, Constant handy men in and out of the building around our stock, no sook employee with them & employees got annoyed if I called to tell them people were there and they had to answer their questions. Someone came to check paint, fix a socket etc etc all things I could not help with as I obviously do not own the premises.
The CCTV cameras were not monitored until Wednesday when someone came to tell me our balloons were covering them the whole time. Nasty attitude and tone from the male employee who came to “offer assistance” and then said it was our responsibility when questioned about why the CCTV was not looked at until 3 days into the pop up.
Communication was poor, our contact was changed 3 times, text messages ignored, issues brushed off as if they were nothing. We were told the toilet had never been an issue before but after speaking with people who had already used sook I was told it had been a problem for them to. I didn’t appreciate being lied too.
I messaged John the CEO who kindly gave me his number to speak with him. I explained all the things that went wrong and explained how much I hate having to be a pain & bring up so many negative things. When I tried to explain the situation with the rude staff member he claimed they had team members that were in tears which I didn’t understand as I barely spoke to any of their employees and the one who I was given as a contact was OOO. I do apologise if I did hurt someone’s feelings.
I was offered one day free instead of any compensation, partial refund etc. I explained that this would be extremely inconvenient, we booked 5 days straight as we had to bring everything down from Birmingham it wouldn’t make sense to only be there one day. Also we paid a clear surcharge as it was the Jubilee bank holiday week so any normal day wouldn't equate to the amount of money we paid. He told me he had “already extended an offer” and would I like him to repeat himself? The same can’t be bothered attitude, very obviously was annoyed that I had bothered to contact him so I just said thanks and hung up.
The whole experience was not ideal. When looking back at the contract it says sook as a licensor isn’t liable for anything, clearly not even to have somewhere to wee. If these people in their corporate offices didn’t have a working toilet they’d all be sent home so for what reason should I have to have my employees work like that when they’re on their feet all day?
I didn’t pay all that money, All the other expenses for the pop up and advertise Sook all over our social media to be treated the way they have been treating us.
I’m a young woc in business I know what makes people feel like they can act any sort of way towards me. I won’t be bullied into being happy with one day “free” that’ll cost me more than its worth. After how bad it was the first time why would I want to come back? The footfall was not even as good as expected 9/10 people who came in knew of the brand already.
The concept of sook is lovely, venue is nice, some of the employees are great. I'm all for a fun working environment but what's the point of their team having fun while making their paying customers feel rubbish in the process. It’s a shame the experience was so bad I would've loved to hold a pop up at sook again.
