Blocked Downpipe
I contacted the property manager to let them know the gutter cleaning company had missed some grass growing inside one of the downpipes. The very next day, the company returned and fixed the problem, so the response from Speirs Gumley was fantastic.

Not great service
Constantly having to chase to get an answer. Contacted them over 4 weeks to get some answers in relation to factoring bills. Still have not got to the bottom of it.

Outstanding service and support
It’s less the company and more about one of the property managers - Susie Robertson. A company is only as good as the people who work for it and having dealt with a few property managers over the years, Susie was a breath of fresh air. Her communication was excellent and her help to me was second to none. She is a great ambassador for the company.

Admin fee for final bill
Was shocked when i found out we had to pay 120 pounds for a final bill going to the lawyer after we sold our house.Paid our bill every month without fail. Was told it was an admin fee just for sending the final bill and closing the account.

We're sorry to hear you were shocked at the apportionment fee related to your recent house sale, you should have been made aware of this by the solicitor handling the sale for you.
We also highlight in our Written Statement of Services that when you sell your property; "Your Solicitor will write to us requesting details of; your typical annual maintenance costs, proposed repairs, warranties, insurance information and confirmation that we will apportion charges between you and the purchaser. This is not part of our core management service and a ‘sales information and apportionment fee’ will apply which will be notified to your solicitor during the conveyancing process."
