This platform is a total scam
This platform is a total scam. I subscribed and paid in order to submit my screenplay to what appear to be fake calls for scripts, with titles like “Manager Seeks Action Feature and TV Scripts Contest.”
They claimed that results would be published within a month. It has now been two years, and nothing has ever been published.
Despite several emails on my part, I have never received any meaningful response.
Basically a scam
Basically a scam. Yopu can "pitch" to execs but they dont show up or they don't even read your pitch. They used to atleast pretend they did and say pass. now they don't bother. I wouldb't give any money to this company. They have zero customer service. Just go burn your cash instead. It will atleast provide you with some warmth
Terrible site, don't waste your money.
Terrible site. Confusing interface, hard to use, zero customer service. I'm at a loss as to why so called professionals want to associate with such a site.
AI written pitch reports, and pointless advice. They can't even get protagonist names correct.
Missed delivery window and questionable coverage quality
I paid for script coverage from Stage 32 based on their stated turnaround time. It has now been over 21 days beyond that window, and I have not received the notes or a meaningful update despite follow-ups.
In addition, a separate coverage report I previously received through the platform raised concerns about quality. The feedback was extremely generic, lacked engagement with specific scenes or story mechanics, and read more like a high-level summary than professional script coverage. Based on the structure and tone, it appeared likely AI-generated or heavily templated, rather than written by someone who had closely read the material.
I am not reviewing the creative opinion itself — notes can always differ — but rather:
Failure to meet the promised delivery timeline
Lack of communication once the deadline passed
Concerns about whether paid coverage is consistently human-generated and script-specific
At this point I am seeking either immediate delivery of the notes or a refund. I hope Stage 32 addresses both the delay and transparency around how coverage is produced.
Be very careful where you spend your money.
I purchased a 10 page review on one of my scripts. About 3 weeks later I checked the portal for my order and saw that the executive who I sent it to wanted to meet me. The next day I received the official email telling me that my review was ready to check out in the portal. I saw that it was not a good review, but also, that it wasn't for MY script. I told Stage 32 and they gave me a code that would pay for a whole script reviewed on a zoom call. After several technical problems with the zoom experience, I got a review. The executive didn't seem like he read the script or even wanted to. In my opinion, anyone who thinks they might get discovered by buying a pitch or meeting a representative this way is sadly mistaken. I'm so glad I didn't pay full price for this.
Stage 32 is a crooked outfit - Stay away!
Stage 32 is a scam. Last week they offered a $299 offer to have an A list Talent Manager read your script and meet with you for one hour to discuss your career. I paid $299. The next day I received an email from a Geoff Somebody who was managing the offer. He reported that the slot filled up immediately. I asked for a refund. A Stage 32 representative sent me an email suggesting I return to the website and select another consultant. I repeated my request for a refund but there has been no answer. Stage 32 is a crooked website that should be shuttered. I have reported the bait and switch to the FBI as Stage 32 is an intrastate business.
Maybe they’ll all go to jail. Now that would be a great movie!
Absolute spam
Absolute spam. They've accessed my email address a d sending me multiple emails daily.
When clicking the unsubscribe link it 404's. I emailed them.and they said the email address I'm requesting to be removed doesn't match my membership details. That'd because I never signed up!
They will spam you forever if you sign up!
Curious I signed up but regretted it and now I just get spammed non stop with garbage emails about how my career could change TODAY...if you pay this and pay that. I've unsubscribed from everything but the emails KEEP coming, I've had FIFTEEN in two days, this is nearly stalking at this point!
Fails at the most basic level of functionality
Stage 32 fails at the most basic level of functionality: account access. Login problems are persistent, and the sign-up troubleshooting process borders on absurd, lengthy, confusing, and ineffective. Instead of providing a straightforward way for professionals to connect, the platform creates unnecessary barriers through poor design and lack of reliable support. For a network that positions itself as a hub for creatives, such fundamental flaws are unacceptable.
The platform may be operating more as a scam than as a serious network for creatives. For a company that markets itself as a professional hub, such fundamental flaws and questionable practices are unacceptable.
Disappointed by False Promises and Poor Communication
I was surprised to see other negative reviews — I thought I was the only one who’d had a disappointing experience with Stage32. It's also strange that the profile is marked as "unclaimed" on Trustpilot, which doesn't inspire confidence.
I’m leaving this review because I experienced a series of false promises and extremely slow communication. A Stage32 team member initially reached out to me, asked about my projects, and offered to connect me with producers who might be interested in my work. I responded with clear interest — and never heard back.
When I contacted customer support to follow up, I was assured someone would get back to me. That never happened either.
Sadly, the platform gave the impression of being more about image than genuine connection. It feels like a space full of people pretending to have access and influence, rather than one where real collaboration and support take place.
I’ll be deleting my account soon and looking for platforms that value authentic relationships and professional follow-through.
Received no benefits
Received no benefits. I cancelled my Writer's Room account but continued to have my credit card charged for the next six months. My credit card company reversed the charges each time, but this is getting ridiculous.
Poor Service and a Platform for scammers
⭐ 1-Star Review: Disappointed and Misled by Stage32
As a serious screenwriter, I joined Stage32 with the hope of building real industry connections and receiving honest feedback. Unfortunately, my experience with the platform has been deeply disappointing and exploitative.
I paid for professional feedback on my screenplay, expecting thoughtful notes. Instead, the reviewer read only the first 10 pages, made generic comments, and criticized stylistic choices that were intentionally modeled on Hollywood-standard scripts (such as using “Super Title,” inspired by Air Force One’s format). The critique felt rushed and superficial, with no in-depth analysis or constructive insight.
This is not a one-time issue. Stage32 pushes expensive services like webinars, pitch sessions, and “script consultations,” yet the value delivered rarely justifies the price. Even more troubling, I’ve noticed several questionable profiles posing as “producers” or “consultants” with no credible IMDb history or verifiable work in the film industry.
Stage32 presents itself as the “LinkedIn of the film industry,” but behind the scenes, it’s largely a pay-to-play system built to profit off the hopes of emerging writers — not to elevate their work.
Writers, especially those early in their careers, deserve better. Platforms should uplift storytellers, not exploit them through vague promises and overpriced services.
Be cautious. Ask for credentials. And don’t let anyone charge you to simply listen to your passion.
I hope this review helps fellow writers make informed choices.

buyer beware
Upon receiving feedback via multiple submissions of the same pitch, almost none of the critique was similar. The lack of a clear through line in responses led me to believe my pitch is fine, alas I scored well with most of them but none wanted to read my script. It became clear the reps offering reviews are not looking scripts off their specific market of business at work. Reps on Stage 32 are looking to make a few extra dollars, It's a money grab....
I cant find a single success story
Yep, nothing will come of anything here. It all just a rinsing machine to separate you from your coin to pitch to people who are clearly getting a slice of the payments. Don't take my word for it, sign up and see for yourself.
Money grubbing scam.
Money grubbing scam.
The entire concept behind Stage32 is to steal money from struggling artists in a one-way communication structure that ensures no one can ever actually succeed. And then feed them with ridiculous lies and success stories than no one in the industry ever heard of. It is quite literally the lowest of the lowest, and they know it too. I've never met more soulless people than those behind stage32.
Complete scam of a company
Complete scam of a company. Customer service a joke. They spend time answering emails and sending you around in circles. $80 worth of nothing. Do not sign up with them!
Nothing But A Major League Sham
These miscreants operate just this side of the law with legal boilerplate about pitches, etc. "for educational purposes only" yet make it seem they are a magic carpet to fame and fortune.
The "Execs" are hilarious jokes. The majority can't order lunch let alone buy a script or fund a film. If you're considering, a suggestion to vet them via imdb or a Google search. One that was investigated worked in the service industry as a bartender. Fantastic background to make filmmaking decisions.
If you do find a reputable Exec, they have zero interest in buying, will request scripts and then ghost you. NO ONE GETS SCRIPT SALES OR MAKES FILMS FROM SCRIPTS ON THIS SITE. It's all a come on. A machine that prints money for the millionaire owner who touts serious industry credits yet, amazingly, has none listed on imdb.
You are bombarded by emails to give them more and more money to pay into the Hollywood dream. These emails can not be stopped.
They have a useless, paid "Writers Room." An invitation for two free months turned out to be charged after one then it was impossible to cancel. A link to cancel has never operated, and emails to Support go unanswered. Had to contact my CC provider to deny the charge.
Then there are the sycophants on the site. They are akin to Moonies or other cult members. One tragic figure even produced a video about why they love Stage 32. It is simultaneously sad and nauseating.
There are other blowhards who make the Lounge insufferable.
Words of advice: STAY AWAY. DO NOT GIVE THESE JACKALS MONEY. STAY AWAY.

Tengo meses que quiero darme de baja de la news letter y no puedo ya estoy cansada de recibir correos de esta gente.
Paid 300 for a script consult
Paid 300 for a script consult. The reader kept rescheduling and when I asked, they said they couldn’t read it. Tried pairing me up with a special effects artist. When asked for a refund they completely stopped contacting me.
Buyer Beware
I signed up for paid script consultations with industry executives and twice they never called as promised. Was fortunate to get my money back. Advise that one should not trust them. Looks like a scam.
