Surplus and Outdoors Reviews

I contacted the company to enquire about the status of my parcel, as several weeks had passed. They informed me that Royal Mail had attempted to contact me regarding outstanding postage fees, though I had not received any such notification. Fortunately, customer service still retained my payment details and, with my authorization, processed the postage charge. My order arrived shortly thereafter. I am highly satisfied with my purchase

From an excellent website through a prompt despatch, everything was just great. The condition of the boots far exceeded my expectations - in fact they were like brand new!!!!!I am wary of internet purchasing , if everyone was like this I would have no qualms!!!!!!

Great company, great communication, items as described, fast dispatch & delivery would definitely recommend very happy thanks guys👍

I've been buying from surplus and outdoors for years, very reliable, excellent quality. My latest purchase arrived a day early, it was listed as grade 1 (slightly used) on the website but it's in immaculate condition, no sign of wear.

Really good range of kit, my order was sent quickly, well packaged, and exactly as described. Also is a perfect fit, and at a really reasonable price for the quality. I’ll definitely use this shop again.

S&A actually phoned me to confirm my order - friendly and efficient. The items arrived quickly and as described. I am about to order from them again. Great experience.

I order a £6 58 Pattern Webbing Bum Roll. I received 5 emails tracking my order which arrived under a week. The item was Grade 2 and in good condition, it even had the original smell of 58 Pattern Webbing, only some will understand. A great service and highly recommend and would use them again .

I ordered a German army coat for my son who started 6th form this week. It came super fast, very carefully wrapped, and is genuinely the coolest, best coat we've ever seen!
It honestly looks brand new, fits perfectly and is really well made. There is a thick, heavy, furry lining that buttons in and out, handy for changes in weather and temperature. Plenty of pockets, a generous hood and super cool German flags stitched to each shoulder. My son absolutely loves it and I'm extremely pleased with my purchase. Thank you very much, you've made me very popular with my son 😃!!

Absolutely brilliant store. Visited in store and online. Staff are extremely knowledgeable and helped my daughter sort her cadet greens. Nothing was too much trouble. We also ordered some blues trousers online and they were delivered within 2 days.
All clothing was excellent grade 1 or new condition. Highly recommended.

I bought a pair of the A grade Hiax Gtx Commander boots. What can I say, these boots are substantial and extremely robust. If you’re looking for a lightweight boot, these are not for you. If on the other hand you require quality and a bulletproof boot, look no further. Ordering was easy and delivered in 48 hours, what’s not to like. Oh I saved substantially on the cost if I had bought new. I will return and purchase in the future.

Terrible company, sent wrong items parcel took over a week, and when called to correct the issue I was told to “put someone on who speaks proper English.” And to “get back on a boat where I come from”

Excellent service, great comms and quick delivery. I found the website superb and easy to navigate with good prices. Will definitely use again. Thanks for a great transaction.

Brilliant company. Prompt delivery and really good jacket.

Will buy from Surplus and Outdoors again.

Thanks, Sally

Great item, ( those French MRE's are to die for), super fast despatch and very well packed, will be ordering again in the near future

Swift and reliable service; good stuff - they regularly provide my mountain hiking gear (the only clothes one can still trust are those made for the military). French waterproofs are particularly worth a prize; you stay dry (but your own sweat) in a Carpathian thunderstorm.

Quick and speedy delivery gives plenty of information regarding products and will use again in the future!!

i'm in the states and have recently purchased twice from surplus and outdoors and both times the transactions went as smooth as possible. the items were professionally packaged and shipping transit service was outstanding. each items purchased were exactly as advertised. i will definitely purchase again from this company in the near future.

Superb selection and condition grades were accurate. Received items quickly and by Royal Mail. I needed to exchange an item having ordered the wrong size no issues simple and delivered in under 4 days. A superb company to do business with and goods very reasonably priced.

Very fast shipping as it was shipped almost imidiatly after I placed my order, generally good quality surplus gear. All in all everything was intact apart from a dodgy zip on an mtp medical pouch I got but it was grade 2 so understandable. Very good service wide range of products would recommend.

I ordered GTX overtrousers and some gaiters. The items were in great condition and dispatched the same day. I will definitely buy from this seller again! :)
