Impossible to Cancel - 8 Months of Unwanted Charges
I'm writing this review as a cautionary tale for anyone considering Templett, particularly fellow small business owners who need reliable service and responsive customer support.
I signed up for the 7-day free trial in 2025 to evaluate whether Templett would work for my digital product business. Unfortunately, I never received a confirmation email—likely due to a typo on my part when entering my email address during signup. Within two minutes of exploring the platform, I realized the generic template format wasn't suited to my needs, and I would be better served continuing with Canva.
Here's where the nightmare began: I immediately attempted to contact Templett to cancel my trial and ensure I wouldn't be charged. Despite multiple contact attempts through various channels, I received absolutely no response. No acknowledgment, no assistance, nothing.
For the past eight months, I have been charged $9 monthly for a service I used for less than two minutes and have actively tried to cancel since day one. That's $72 for a platform I never intended to use and made every reasonable effort to cancel immediately.
The complete absence of customer service is inexcusable. When a customer cannot access their account due to email issues and cannot reach anyone for help, there should be a straightforward resolution process. Instead, I've been met with silence while my credit card continues to be charged month after month.
My only remaining option is to cancel my credit card entirely—an extreme and inconvenient measure that shouldn't be necessary for what should be a simple cancellation.
I cannot recommend Templett to anyone. If you encounter any issues whatsoever, don't expect help. And if you're considering the free trial, triple-check your email address—because if you can't access your account, you may find yourself paying indefinitely with no way to stop it.
