Great spot for fun! Tenpin is an amazing place for entertaining friends and family. The food and drink prices are absolutely perfect and very wallet-friendly.

The venue is great but...
The venue is great. The only issue was the blimey there was so much litter on the tables and no member of staff cared to clean it. A bit disgraceful..

The place is too crowded for birthday…
The place is too crowded for birthday parties and food arrived very late. They didn't serve the icecream for what I have paid.

Low staff
Me and my friend went into the bar area to grab a drink before going up to the cinema. However, we were unable to get a drink as there were no staff to be seen. We sat and waited at a table for 40 mins and a staff member showed up at the bar as we were leaving. There was also rubish and empty glasses on a number of tables.

Bad customer care
We took a huge school trip that we had booked 10 months in advance. We paid 2 weeks before, as per the terms and conditions. When we got there the (very rude) manager told us that we hadn't paid and we weren't allowed to play unless we paid by card. They made all of the students stand outside in 35 degrees. They finally found the paid invoice but still weren't apologetic. Bad customer care

Not too busy, quick to check in, but balls are filthy
Not too busy and quick to check in.
However the balls are filthy, I don’t like touching them or putting my fingers in them, I don’t like kids using them, it’s a health hazard. I really think yuu need to disinfect them and visibly show that they are being cleaned regularly. The idea of eating snacks with fingers at the same time as using those balls is revolting.

Karaoke at Tenpin Cambridge
We had a 12th birthday party at Tenpin Cambridge, the girls had a great time but the screen was set to 30 mins less than I had booked for and I had to find someone to add the extra time when it stopped. We also ordered pizza for a specific time as one person was leaving early but the order was not put through, even though I went to follow up twice before being informed that the order hadn't been sent to the kitchen. A bonus is that the rooms are airconditioned and if you ask at reception they will give you a discount for the parking.

The guy on customer service was not the happiest said I had booked gave my name he just said lane 3,it was our fist time visiting so I just said do I just over there he replied with a blunt yes.
Easy to use set up process to start bowling.
Place was tidy.

Had a good time, but could be cleaner
4 of us went bowling to Tenpin and we had a good time, but with one issue.
The good:
- on arrival we were first told we will have to wait longer than expected for our lane. However, another member of the staff found a free lane, so in the end we were actually able to start quicker than planned
- there were no technical glitches with the lane and everything worked as it should
- drink ordering online was convenient and our drinks arrived relatively quickly
The bad:
- when we arrived, the table in our lane was absolutely filthy. It was full of old glasses, and the table itself was sticky from spilled drinks. We played 2 games and no-one at any point came to clean it up, even though they brought our drinks and saw the state of it (there was barely any space to put our drinks on). Perhaps we could have chased the staff and asked them to clean it, but I don't think we should have to do it.
Overall, we enjoyed the game, but the cleanliness levels spoiled our experience a bit.

Great party
Great party, very smooth . Helpful staff. Balloons were a great hit with the kids.
The only thing was - two pizza slises seemed too little.

We had 2 lanes for 3 games for our son’s birthday at a cost of £240 & one kept breaking, balls where getting jammed, the rails wouldn’t go up for those that had requested it then one side just stayed up for the rest of the time we was there, such a shame, that & no air con on a very hot day meant we’d definitely doing better research before booking this type of entertainment in the future

We had so much fun on the karaoke
We had so much fun on the karaoke, and the arcades ,the only down side would be if the karaoke could be videoed or had a thing where you could have your photo taken, but other than that we had a brilliant time and are planning on doing it again alongside the bowling

No staff around to help ended up…
No staff around to help ended up waiting for long periods of time to sort issues with bowling lane and getting drinks. Food was very small and inconsistent serving size and quality low. One of the most annoying parts of the visit was that we had a group of 6 and there isn’t enough space on the tiny half table and seating for everyone so we were using the empty lane table joined to ours. A staff member appeared and poured away drinks and took glasses that were full and when we asked for our drinks back she said ‘it’s not on your lane so I can clear them’ probably £20 worth of drinks and some of our food taken too.

The game area is a disaster, e.g.you are trying to play snooker, balls missing, getting stuck, not easy to get someone to help you. I had not been there for years, it will take a long time to go ahain i think.
