Not enough staff last night
Not enough staff last night. Needed help as our lanes kept saying error but nobody around so went to the desk and spoke to a lady who just pointed at the manager who was sat on the table behind on a laptop and just said “speak to the manager she’s there”. That wasn’t my job to do that, she should have done that.
Also at the same desk I waited around 5 minutes to be seen when there were 4 members of staff just standing there talking they could clearly see I was waiting to be seen. Not a very nice time last night which is a shame because we go hear quite a lot with our little boy and it was his 7th birthday too but I spent more time hanging around waiting to be served that I did actually bowling.

Disengaging staff
Staff didn’t look like they wanted to be there. No energy, not helpful. Didn’t give much information regarding the Laser tag considering it was our first time. Not very engaging.

Lack of good service and hygiene
I went today with my two children who enjoyed the bowling and had an alright experience. However, my complaints lie with the food as well as the questionable behaviour from the staff. The food took too long to arrive and wasn't even warm, after the food I took the kids to the arcade to which a bloke was mopping the basket ball machines with a horrible looking black mop which caused my concern for my kids health if the place isn't clean properly. I wouldn't find myself visiting again if my kid's health is exposed.

I booked the Interactive darts for a certain time and was i formed the booking had not been processed even with my confirmation email. I was told I'd have to wait another 45 mins for an available time slot. The staff were reasonable but nothing extra, no Apology just very basic service at best.

Disappointing Food, Decent Arcade Experience
I visited on a Wednesday lunchtime with my godson for some food and a play in the arcade. After ordering our food, we waited 45 minutes. I eventually went to ask where it was and was told they hadn’t had staff available for the kitchen, but had just managed to find someone.
I couldn’t understand why this wasn’t mentioned earlier, especially when they brought our drinks over. The burgers were dreadful, although the chips and curly fries were nice. All the food was at least hot.
Afterwards, we went to the arcade, which has plenty of games, and we had a good time there.
I’d like to think the service is better during busier periods, as they explained they were short‑staffed at the time.

Waited over half an hour for drinks…
Waited over half an hour for drinks order even after chasinf twice. I had to go & collect in the end and still had to wait. A number of arcade machines getting stuck & no staff around to support.

The bowling, laser tag and arcade games are good .. but maybe because it was the weekend, the food order was not provided correctly, there was a delay in getting the replacement and everything just took too long - and that coupled with it was a kids bday party + the events are lined up back to back, did not help.

The new layout isn't user-friendly
The new layout isn't user-friendly. I really enjoy the ocassional visit to ten-pin, but I was very disappointed at the revised seating layout. You all sit in a narrow line of seats, facing the family opposite, which just doesn't work! And don't get me started about the cost.. If i hadn't booked the Friday special, it would have cost me £82 for 3 adults and 2 children, for the regular 2 games. Wont be back soon I'm afraid...

bad service
The service for the last 2 times we have been has been awful. Always a huge queue making you late for your booking. One of our group missed half of the game waiting for a coffee to be made. The machine then broke and he had to wait even longer for the manager to come and issue a refund. We then went in the arcade with our children who excitedly won some tickets. Sadly again the queue was far too long to wait in for them to get their prizes.
Something really needs doing about this. Such as another place to check in. And extra staff available to support this. This is our second visit since the refurb and we have been disappointed both times.

Rubbish. Felt essentially invisible, staff were incompetent and just forgot about you. Waited upwards of an hour for 2 drinks and food.

Give the food a miss
Booked offer two games with burgers and chips for myself and two grandchildren.At reception I asked if we could eat after game.The receptionist said she would place a note on the order.While playing gurst game food arrived, I informed that person we asked for it after games( hands are dirty).She took them back food away,when we had finished playing I informed the receptionist as previous agreed.The food??was then brought to our table.The chips stone cold obviously the one brought out earlier.Left most of the food.Emailed when I got home no reply.Kitchen?.a joke obviously who ever was working was too lazy to cook fresh food.

Poor choice of balls!
While I appreciate that it will always be busy, the choice of bowling balls was shocking. I would expect there to be enough of the “commonly used” balls to go around, instead all that was left on the racks was extra large and extra heavy, not ideal for my wife or anyone with less than gigantic hands. Looking up and down the lanes, all of them had only one or 2 balls (between the 2 lanes) that would be suitable for the average person. Any staff member that I saw either had food or drinks in their hands so couldn’t ask for assistance, and the queue at reception was ridiculous. Also, when checking in, my booking had “been moved by the system” so I had to wait longer until they could “squeeze me in” which I found very hard to understand when I had booked that very morning and had the confirmation email. All in all, I doubt I will be visiting again any time soon
