We started online in 2002, but we have been in the book business for over 19 years (WOW!). It all started at The Ohio State University in 1994 with retail “brick and mortar” stores. But let’s back up for a minute. We were TextbooksRus.com for a while, but now we are TextbookRush. The name change hasn’t changed who we are. We sell books at seriously low prices, as well as textbook rentals for those one-and-done classes. Have books to sell? We’ve got you covered there too. We buy over one million different titles back from students and other sources for cash or store credit. And that’s not all we’ve got. When it’s time for a study break you can check us out for great movies and video games.

I honestly prefer textbook rush over my college bookstore or any other book site that I have looked into.
I honestly prefer textbook rush over any other book site that I’ve looked at including the book store at the college I attended, I can purchase the books I need new on textbook rush cheaper than I can purchase them used from my college. I also like the fact that I can sale my books back at the end of the semester and have the money applied to my account and use it when I need to make new purchases.

Order unexpectedly cancelled after a WEEK
I ordered a book on 9/12, expecting it within a week. I reached out, and was told on 9/18 that it was expected in a few days. Then on 9/19 I received an email that the order was cancelled. So I wasted a week when I could have ordered from another website. There is no "RUSH" in Textbook Rush

Inconsistent shipping
While two of my books shipped quickly the third has yet to ship. I've been told it's coming from a different warehouse but that warehouse doesn't seem to be in any hurry to ship my book. I placed my order on Aug 31, which was a holiday weekend. The first two shipped first thing on Tuesday. It's a week later and I'm still waiting for the second one to ship.

Order was cancelled and I needed this book ASAP. Terrible inventory tracking, you should know what you have in stock and reflect that correctly on your site. Because of that I had homework due that was delayed causing my grade to be lowered for the rest of the semester. Don’t order books from here. BEWARE.
