the best aftercare and restoration service for shoes and bags. Whenever I send in my shoes or bags, they come back looking so pristine. I took my shoes to every cobbler in London to replace the leather on the heels but everyone told me they could not match the original colour and texture, The Restory found the perfect match for them and sent them back as good as new.
Coat alteration
I have a coat that needed alterations on the hood to be separated that I can just easy remove when I need too. and they have done an outstanding job and excellent workmanship. Highly recommend or any repairs. excellent customer service.

I’ve been using the restory since it’s inception many years ago. they’re responsive, creative, reliable and have fixed the unfixable. brilliant!
Outstanding quality and craftsmanship
The quality and craftsmanship of this service is exceptional. My two vintage Gucci bags, given to me by my mother over 25 years ago and in an unwearable state, have been restored to a pristine condition. If you are thinking of restoring your much loved items, do not hesitate to use this wonderful company. They make dreams happen.
My worn suitcase now looks brand new! Great service!
My fourteen year old and rather worn leather suitcase was restored beyond perfection. The briefcase had seen its fair share of wear and tear over the years and thanks to the Restory I am still able to use it every day at work. The Restory even exchanged the lock to which I no longer had the key. The delivery to Sweden went smooth and I had the leather briefcase back in no time. I highly recommend!
DAMAGED DIORS
AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!!
I’m so annoyed I trusted Harrods recommendation to use The Restory. If I could give zero stars I would. My beloved Dior shoes have come back to me damaged! The surface of the leather has been cut and scuffed down one side. So many bad reviews, seems it’s not a one off occurrence.
I’ve just had a pair of Louboutin boots repaired by Minuit Moins 7 and they are flawless. So it can be done! If only they repaired other brands I wouldn’t have had to use The Restory. Never again and I’LL BE TELLING EVERYONE I KNOW TO AVOID.

Amazing results with shoes falling apart
I had a pair of favourite flats that were literally falling apart - one had a hole were the upper joined to the sole. The restory did a fantastic job in reconstructing them including attention to detail like matching small crystals perfectly to replace lost ones in the decoration. I can’t recommend the workmanship and attentive customer service enough.
Took a Chance
I had a pair of Marc Jacobs shoes that were literally coming apart at the seams. I had a choice to 1) Toss or 2) Restory to the Rescue; I chose The Restory.
The shoes were repaired to resemble the original look and feel. That is what I expected; but I was also so impressed with the care and detail on how they were shipped back. The extras the company went through to convey the message that I was not a commodity and they appreciated my business was a touch of class not often seen these days. The shoes were expertly repaired but the overall experience was exceptional.
The Restory is a class act
Excellent work, professional, fast. Fees were appropriate for the skills and workmanship involved. The leather jacket I gave to them to clean up was totally transformed and looked brand new. I am delighted with The Restory and highly recommend them.
Great attention to detail and follow up
The Restory repurposed my vintage travel bag with custom lining, a particularly delicate repair request, and they provided me with images along the way, making sure that the result was as expected. Great dedication, service and result!
Great results, bad customer service.
Really happy with the results, 1 bag and 3 shoes all came back looking amazing but have to say their customer service is utterly appalling. It took 2 months, not a big problem would have liked general date for return but when contacted asking for this emails and phone calls were all ignored. The only way to get a response was to message via Instagram, first time some one called me back the next day giving me a time frame and when that passed and I messaged a second time the next day I got email the link to book my return.
Sad mulberry blooms once again!
This fabulous company collected and restored my ailing Mulberry briefcase to its former glory, before returning it safely home.

Quite terrible customer service
Quite terrible customer service.
I arranged for a collection and received an email with a button link to print labels, but it didn’t work. I wrote customer service via email and message, no answer for days. Had to send back the DHL person.
Then finally received answers to rearrange, with two different times for the collection and a DHL tracking number I had no clue what to do with. They wrote to send me the label, which never arrived, neither any person for collection.
Again, no answer from them for days. It’s been two weeks since I tried to be their customer. Completely ignored, not valued, not helped.
Considering their very high prices: unacceptable!

Amazing Work!
The quality of the work was absolutely INCREDIBLE. My shoes look beautiful and they were even able to clean the suede so well I can't see the stains anymore. Also, the customer service was wonderful. The reps were super friendly and responded very quickly to my questions and concerns. The ONLY issue is the price. It was SUPER expensive and the original estimate did not prepare me for the cost. I know it was simply an estimate, but I wish it had been just a little more accurate. I do like that I had the option to pay through Klarna though so I could make payments.
Fantastic service and brilliant result
I have just received my new light blue suit back from the Restory.They have done a brilliant job removing a terrible stain - the best part of a full glass of red wine - from both the jacket and trousers and for £60.
Can't recommend them highly enough

Poor communication
I submitted my very expensive and sentimental wedding shoes for some work. I had an email confirming receipt of my items but then heard absolutely nothing in regards to a quote or timeline. I tried calling and emailing every day but no one answered either. To eventually get a response I had to publicly comment on their Instagram, to which I had a reply almost instantly. I asked for my shoes to be returned with no work done (they were returned in 2 days in their original condition). Overall I think the idea is great but I think they should focus more on actual customer service experience rather than a flashy Instagram. The lack of communication made me loose trust and worry that my expensive items were gone forever.

Really poor communication
Really poor communication. I sent three bags, one has been returned repaired (not incredible - it was a clasp repair and the colour of the magnet doesn’t match, it’s too small, and doesn’t really clasp properly), one I rejected the quote as it was ridiculous; literally more expensive than just replacing the bag (Givenchy Antigona), and the other I accepted the quote. However, the latter two have not yet been returned to me. No response to emails, nor an enquiry I sent a couple of weeks ago asking for a quote on a different bag.
Good idea - but very poor execution and exceptionally bad communication.

I have put in two pairs of shoes with the Restory and although drop off and quote were smooth and easy, since then trying to speak to anyone at all has been impossible. They have no one manning their phones, customers are directed to a Whatsapp. This is never answered or looked at apparently. Emails to service and through website go unanswered. I am now reading other reviews here and am very alarmed as they have a pair of Manolos which were my wedding shoes and I have no idea how to get them back and no one will contact me. If they are lost I will be extremely upset. I am already sure I would not use this service again, the lack of communication is appalling. This is no way to run a business.

Absolutely thrilled with the service and outcome
Absolutely thrilled with the service and final outcome of my first time using this company. I sent 2 pairs of Gucci Loafers to have sole protection applied, and can honestly say the finished product is even better than I imagined! The (absurdly) fragile leather soles are now covered in a subtle (yet hardy) rubber coating that protects the shoes and makes them feel sturdy on cobbles, gravel etc. The finish looks as if the shoes came straight from the Gucci store with such a sole. Service was straightforward from start to finish (the service selection web app is especially intuitive) and I'm thrilled with the outcome. Will be sending all my high-end footwear here in future for repairs/maintenance.
