I can only second the opinion of everyone else on this company.I paid for a repair that they couldn't carry out and now have disappeared.

Scam. Avoid. Lost £500 quid to these robbers

AVOID AT ALL COSTS - DO NOT BE SUCKED IN BY LOW PRICES!

I ordered a coffee machine 2 weeks ago from this company for £900. I have not heard anything since and now their website and all social media accounts have vanished.

I have credit checked them and the company was liquidated in 2018, so it's clearly a scam.

Absolute crooks. Just pleased I paid on my credit card.

Scam, do not buy from these!

Took order and payment. Nothing received after a month. Kept fobbing us off. Thankfully bought using a credit card so had protection.

Stick to purchasing from a known reputable company.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I ordered a toaster 2 months ago, still no sign of it. Customer services not responding to me. Hugely questioning the legitimacy of this company.

I ordered an appliance without reading any reviews - huge mistake !

I received a generic email 12 days later informing me that it was out of stock and that my refund would take up to 10 days

I cannot warn you enough. I can honestly say, I have never experienced such a horrific shopping experience! Ordered 2 SMEG kettles and one SMEG toaster. They obviously never had them in stock! After 4 weeks of dates offered (nothing ever turned up). Emails back and forth (no telephone number). Suspect this setup is run from a poorly run garage! Needless to say, I requested a refund which shockingly, was processed quickly!

Shambolic firm, Made order, never heard anything. Enquired and they said my order had been cancelled but it would take 10 days to refund me.

Wish I'd checked reviews before I ordered, pee poor and still not received my order.

I do not trust this business. I thought I was getting a deal too good to be true, and I was. I ordered 3 weeks ago and have had 4 emails saying it will arrive on X date which it never did. The emails appear automated, I'm convinced at no point have I spoken to a real human (if I have they just copied and pasted/used the same email reply over and over). If necessary I will go through my bank to recover the funds and will take legal action if I must (although they claim they've refunded me, we shall see). Avoid at all costs is my advice!

ABYSMAL SERVICE. IF I COULD GIVE 0 STARS I WOULD. Slow response to emails (2 days +) and no way to call. I ordered a product that still hasn't arrived after 3 weeks of waiting. Was given 4 different due dates each of which were never met (massively misleading and time wasting) and now no response when I have asked for my order to be cancelled and refunded. I recommend that you look elsewhere.

I usually give five stars to companies; this is the first time I have written a negative review but unfortunately, I had a terrible customer service experience and hope it gives readers pause for thought.

I used AW a couple of years ago for a dishwasher repair and was pleased with the engineer's service so when my dishwasher broke down again and the same engineer came and told me I needed a new dishwasher I was happy to give them (rather than a national company) a go, paying for a new dishwasher and installation-installation being approx £144.

The men came on a Thursday, plumbed it in, left.
I turned it on; the kitchen flooded,
I phoned AW up-they were apologetic and told me not to use the dishwasher, they would come out on the Tuesday to check everything. So I did as they said; didn't use the dishwasher, washed up in my sink and......... the water flooded onto the floor.
I was lucky that I have a qualified premises manager who works at my place of work and he came out as an emergency it being Easter weekend. He looked under the sink and said that the installers had knocked the pipes when they were installing which was why the water was coming out-he tightened them for me. He also noticed that they had not installed the dishwasher correctly as it wasn't aligned correctly.
The installers came back on the Tuesday. They took a cursory look under the sink, took a couple of photos on their phone, adjusted the dishwasher (when I told them it was wrong)-they were in and out within 20 minutes.
Later I received a 'report' from AW (carried out by the same people who had done the initial installation) the report stating that I must have had problems with my plumbing already, it was not their fault.
When I stated that, 'no, in the previous 13 years I had had no problems only after they had installed the dishwasher', I was met with silence, not even a sorry. I wrote again, with photos.....silence. I reminded them that they had not contacted me...silence....
I had asked for the installation fee to be returned as it certainly wasn't worth £144! However, this is obviously not to be. I hope no-one else has had the experience I have had and I'm certainly going to think twice when I'm considering whether to use a larger company for appliances and repairs.

If I could give 0 stars I would – and I see I’m not alone. As a customer with a legitimate complaint this was without doubt the most unpleasant, unhelpful, condescending, disingenuous service - or lack of it - I have ever received. If you value your sanity DON’T touch The Appliance Warehouse with a barge pole.

If possible I wouldn't given them a single star. This is a swindling, dishonest company who would speak to you like they are giving you a legit deal but in reality, they're up-selling you loads. The follow-up service is terrible terrible terrible. And there's no manager you can speak to or who would follow-up or take over the case. Unless you want to have a bad encounter, then avoid them at all cost!!

Not very helpful and not generally interested in my business. Tried to find out availability on a cooker and person was very abrupt and rude and couldn't have been less helpful if they tried.

Won't be back to this store.

The Bosch washing machine I originally ordered was out of stock which although I was a little dissappointed with, I was expecting it as I'd already had the same problem elsewhere. But a girl phoned me and offered an alternative AEG model which WAS in stock and came with a free five year guarantee.

Other than that, communications were excellent from beginning to end - given that the I'd already cancelled my order with another company after waiting 4 weeks and still nothing! I got a call the night before from the deliveries people with a PM timeslot, and the delivery guy also called me on his way to mine to give me a better indication of his arrival time - this was particularly useful to me as it meant not having to miss much time from work - and is something that isn't done often enough by online companies!

The price was similar on most sites, though I ended up with a different machine overall I got the extra bonus of the longer guarantee, so this company I would choose to use again.

Good communications from the start, delivery slot booked in and stuck to, very friendly on the phone and delivery man couldn't have been nicer. Aftercare setting up of free 5 year warranty was carried out ahead of schedule and communicated by email and post. No hesitation in recommending.
