Absolutely appalling experience with Sleep Sleep.

The mattress I received looks nothing like the one advertised. I left it all day to fully expand as instructed, yet it still only measures around 14-16cm thick despite being advertised as 22cm. The difference is obvious and unacceptable.

The quality is dreadful. The mattress is so thin it can be pushed flat with one hand. The memory foam layer is paper-thin, there is very little padding, and the springs can be felt underneath and appear to be protruding due to the lack of cushioning. It feels nothing like the premium mattress shown in the advert.

I have attached photos comparing the advertised product to what was actually delivered, and the difference is shocking. In my opinion, the mattress is not as described and is nowhere near the quality that was advertised.

As a disabled customer, I purchased online because getting to shops and transporting large items is difficult. I am now left without a mattress because this one needs to be collected and returned due to its poor quality. This has caused significant inconvenience and distress.

I have contacted the company and am awaiting their response. If this matter is not resolved promptly, I will be pursuing a full chargeback through my bank.

In my view, the mattress supplied does not meet the standards required under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which states that goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described.

I would strongly advise others to think carefully before ordering. Based on my experience, the product I received was poor quality, significantly thinner than advertised, and bore little resemblance to the product shown in the company's advertising.

Update after resolution. The company accepted responsibilty its not as it should be and issued a full refund immediately. To give them some credit they resolved the issue very quickly.

Very fast delivery and good firm mattress. I was searching for a memory foam matrress for a long time and finally found one. Good range of sizes available and it's handy they even have a shorty bed size which is the one I required. Will buy again in the future.

Bought two cooltouch single mattresses from this company that were advertised as 9 inch deep, which was a big lie as tge mattresses were more like 7 inches deep, at that price if I knew the real depth I would buy elsewhere for cheaper, hence I don’t recommend buying from them

Just took delivery of two COOLER MEMORY FOAM TOPPER WITH COOLING ZIP COVER. Not at all convinced they are made with real memory foam as it doesn’t retain any pattern when depressed. Just seems like a standard open-cell foam with a blue swirl pattern.

Easy to order and really quick delivery. Mattress is comfortable and very reasonably priced.

Great mattresses. We bough an Ikea Hemnes day bed but the standard mattresses are really thin. I didn't want a bulky mattress topper so opted for the 200x80 mattress from The Sleep People. I'm really impressed with the quality, the thickness and the comfort of the mattresses, it makes the bed far more comfortable to sleep on. The delivery was quick and they were well packaged and reasonably priced.

The mattress came much sooner than expected and was delivered in a way that was convenient. The mattress appears to be very good quality and is comfortable.

I paid for next day delivery and choose to order from The Sleep People limited because of the quick turnaround , it actually came a day later than the advertised free delivery I was offered at checkout.

I contacted customer services to ask for refund of my delivery charge as it took longer than their free delivery to which Jade replied , omitting to answer my question just telling me it had just been delivered . Obviously I knew that , that wasn’t what I had asked . She didn’t acknowledge the content of my email at all , totally ignored it .

An explanation to a question is a basic requirement for customer Service surely .
Not impressed as it comes across as disinterested and rude .

Cannot comment on the mattress as I haven't received it yet.
Delivery date was given for the 30-31st, on the website (ordered via B&Q) when i checked status of Delivery via DHL it stated it had been delayed.
My issue is if you cannot guarantee delivery for the dates you state on the website then you should not advertise them, I feel when you are looking for a product then a date of delivery is a big pull factor.

Bed is beautiful, made and handled with care, exquisite quality for the price, don’t worry about being scammed, these guys deliver, just amazing.
