The Wand Company Reviews 

My previous review was constantly flagged by the wand company many many many times as "defamatory". They do not appear to understand the meaning of "alleged". So now I will simply state the following facts. I purchased one of their made in China (published fact) Tricorders and was so annoyed by the company I sold it off cheap and will never consider buying their products again (another fact).

Since that hot day in July 2020, when the Wand Company announced their intent to create a tricorder that looked like the prop used original series Star Trek but with working display screens, buttons, lights, and even audio recordings of the original series Captain’s logs. Since that day the Customer Support Team has taken us on a (more than) five year mission to create the definitive Star Trek prop replica. The people who have kept us all informed, entertained and even amused as one year grew into two, and two into four, a global pandemic threw supply chains into chaos (and had us learning more about supply chains and logistics than we ever wanted to know), and politicians that have made imports and exports almost impossible; The Wand Company’s Customer Support Team, (Chris Barnardo, Richard Blakesley, and Charlotte Pegrum) have gone above and beyond to help the hundreds of fans engaged, interested, and willing to wait just a little longer to own a piece of Science Fiction memorabilia that will be the envy of all collectors the world over.

I have just returned to the hobby of movie collectibles and replicas after a short 20 or so year break... I didn’t really know where to start although have decided it will be a modest but meaningful collection. I had remembered The Wand Company from the beginning and was delighted to see them still doing so well, their products have a strong reputation for being so lovingly realised, top quality and that was obvious from various reputable sources and countless online reviews.

I was actually just finishing the new Fallout series and saw their Pip-Boy 3000 was still available to buy from Bethesda International so I pre-ordered it and it has just turned up today. I have to say, the doting online reviews don’t do it justice, it is phenomenal and I’m so happy with the purchase. How on Earth did The Wand Company offer such an immersive, quality and highly technical replica for that price?! Gobsmacked. If I were told at the start to expect £500+ I wouldn’t have flinched, certainly with it in hand. Obviously I’m late to the party but seriously this is special.

On a personal note, Chris and Charlotte welcomed me back to the hobby in the most moving way that I couldn’t possibly articulate here, and I am delighted to have their products as the first of what will be a very meaningful collection. I will of course be buying their highly anticipated Star Trek TOS Tricorder, which looks superb thanks to the usual team TWC treatment.

If there were more stars, you’d have them TWC. Keep up the amazing work and thank you all sincerely. SG

Great product great company

I have been collection’s the Pokeball collection for the wand company for years, and it has been the best products, best customer service, and best purchasing experience for me

Genuinely the best customer experience, it did take a while for the discussion but they were extremely helpful, I got a pipboy 2000 second hand and usps fumbled the bag and the latch ripped the package and fell out, I shot them an email and they were willing to not just look in storage for one, but actually take one off a (what I think was) a recalled or unsold kit and ship it to me

Absolutely amazing products - I've never seen such dedication to quality and authenticity from a company before, I just ordered the Pokeball for my nephew a huge pokemon fan and it SO much nicer than I expected, not like the usual cheap plastic-y ones you find elsewhere

I had purchased the Cherish Ball Pokeball Replica and I’m extremely impressed with its quality! Unfortunately I had accidentally damaged the outer box upon unboxing after I had received it. I contacted support asking to purchase a replacement box, and to my surprise they had offered to send it free of charge. I had spoken to Charlotte who is both professional and friendly. Very fast and helpful support , and high quality products, I would absolutely purchase again!

As seen in the reviews below: their marketing is incredibly dishonest. As they keep putting out new models, they have still not given a widespread release for the masterball. In their reply to previous reviews and on facebook they claim to be “working on it”. It has however been several years and still there was no news besides a limited UK only release. This has left most of the European market without a chance to purchase said model and withholds from us the opportunity to truly collect.

They like to blame licensing for this but the fact that they agreed to licensing that would exclude a huge part of the fanbase shows a fundamental lack of sincerity and integrity. Extremely disappointed

They promised us we would be able to collect pokéball replicas and then made the Masterball region exclusive making it near impossible for people to truly collect. These deceitful practices have lead me to buy products believing I’d be able to have a complete collection. I am now reminded by these products that I have been lied to by this company. They’ve been promising “more information soon” for months now but have as of yet not come forward with anything meaningful. Either give us more information on upcoming plans or show some integrity and admit that you are not going to do anything about this, you have been deceitful and offer us an apology.

This company is really so kind! I recently got in contact with them as I purchased a second hand pipboy 2000 kit which was new in the box and found when assembling it that the connector parts for the material snapped when you tried to insert them. So I asked them if I could purchase some replacements to be greeted with the kindest gesture if them sending replacements for free! I have just received them today but not only did they give me the replacement parts but also a small packet of sweets with a post card! So I have decided to create this review and give them a huge amount of praise for their pure kindness!

I purchased a communicator after a week I had a problem with it charging
Contacted the Wand Company customer care Charlotte was excellent in solving problem. Based on my experience with the Wand Company I would say they are the best company to purchase any item that they produce and their customer care is second to none.

Had a minor problem with a product manufactured by this company. Although their products are manufactured in China, they are decent quality and Customer Service is second-to-none! I needed a small part of their Star Trek TOS Phaser Remote replacing as it was broken on delivery. I emailed their CS department and without hesitation their lovely lady Charlotte said she would send one straight away. Sure enough, within a couple of days it arrived. OK you would maybe expect it be FOC but the service was exceptional, friendly, polite and above all efficient! Efficient......? in the UK.......? surely not......yes it can be done!

Why can't all Customer Services be this way?
