Horrible service...ought to be ashamed!

I requested a shipping quote to Canada and 5 full business days have gone by and still no answer. I can't say anything good so far about how they run their business and treat their customers. 99% of online merchants can provide a shipping quote on the spot. This is embarrassing to say the least.

Great prices, really fast shipping

I was amazed at how quickly I received my sheet pans! I was debating if I should order on Amazon because of fast shipping but decided to go with tigerchef because their prices were SO much cheaper! I got my product the next day! Will definitely order again.

Terrible products and terrible customer service

Ordered an expandable 6-wheel dough cutter from TigerChef because the low price. Well, you get what you pay for. The dough cutter did not expand evenly so it would not provide evenly cut strips, and the locking mechanism did not work. I called on Friday at 4pm and was told that a "ticket" would be created to investigate the issue, but I would not receive a response until Monday or Tuesday because they close at 5pm on Fridays and don't work weekends. I did not receive any notification until Wednesday which was an email that stated the locking mechanism should work so a replacement was being sent to me. Well, this didn't address the dough cutter not expanding evenly. When I called about an hour after I received the email and explained that only one of the issues with the product was being addressed, I was told "well, let's wait and see if the replacement works." I was not happy with this response and asked to speak with a customer service manager. The gentleman told me the same thing and I explained my frustration with this kind of service. I had ordered the product 12 days earlier and I'm left without a working product. And now I have to wait for a replacement to be sent to me and "hope" that it works. There is no one available who can inspect products they sell because they ship from different warehouses across the country. Well, if you're going to be selling a product, someone needs to be available who can answer questions about that product. The replacement eventually arrived and once again the dough cutter did not expand evenly and the locking mechanism did not work. I called back (now 16 days after the order was replaced) and asked for a refund including the outrageously overpriced shipping charges. It is now 10 days since I asked for the refund and a refund still has not been issued. I have never been so frustrated with a company in my life. I've had better service from student loan companies and the IRS.

Customer Service Was Lacking

I ordered a cutting board to have engraved as a gift for Christmas. When it was delivered it was obviously damaged. It looked like someone had put a bunch of staples in one spot and removed them. That was annoying but I understand things happen. The customer service agent responded right away in helping me. He started off by making it seem like no problem, we will send a new one right away, you may even be able to keep the damaged one. Then he said they wanted it back which is no problem but they wouldn't be able to send a new one until the old was received. This meant that I would not get it in time. I requested for him to make an exception to send it once they could track my damaged one was returned. He said "I know normally we cannot do that. I will see what I can do for you." I was grateful and awaited his answer. It never came. I emailed him to explain if it hadn't already been shipped it was too late and I would need a refund. I then decided to call because I needed to know if I would have to go buy another one somewhere. I call and they are closed because it's Friday and they close early on Fridays and won't be in until Monday. So I email him asking for a refund since I will have to assume that him not giving me an answer means he was unable to ship it early and I can see the package I returned has not been delivered yet. I go buy another board and take it to my engraver. Monday morning I get an email, "The replacement order has shipped out 12/17 and is set to arrive today 12/21 via UPS. You can click on the link below to see the shipping update." No apology for not getting back to me. No sorry for the inconvenience it caused. Nothing. I told him I was grateful he was able to get it to me in time but the lack of communication was annoying and frustrating. I would think twice before reordering between a damaged product and poor customer service skills. Not a horrible experience. It was made right ultimately with the new product but it would have been much better just by simply keeping me informed.

french fry cutter nightmare

Terrible Company to do business with rude and down right beligerent ordered blades for my french fry cutter anything but helpful I DO have the cutter that they distribute the extra blades will not fit the cutter ( the holes are less than a 16th out but they have said it's not ours we'll charge 15% restocking fee and non-refundable return postage. DO NOT EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!!

Per the conversation you had with a customer service representative, each French Fry cutter has its own set of blades, and as specified in the product description, we recommend buying the blades that match the cutter as each brand can have a slightly different design.
You purchased blades that are not the same brand as the cutter. As previously offered we are happy to accept the return without a restocking fee. Although you ended the call abruptly please note that we tried to contact you again numerous times via phone and email and you did not respond or return our calls. got what I purchased in a timely manner

They did have the best price on the 40qt stock pot I purchased. The item arrived in less than a week. Shipping cost was very reasonable, even excellent.
Room for improvement:
Better communication with customers. I received one automated email to inform me about the transaction then nothing, until I actually received the item in the mail.
I tried to get an a PO status update several time without success. I deal with customers a lot and in my line of work communication is paramount.
I'm giving 5 stars because the price was great and the product arrived at my door step quickly, but things don't always go as planned and good communication with the customer can be the difference between a cancelled order/ pissed off customer and a minor inconvenience.

Excellent Prices, Quick Service, Great Service

I recently ordered some 1/2 sheet pan cooling racks. The service was quick, the prices outstanding, and the staff extremely helpful. I got my racks faster than expected and was extremely happy with the price.

My only observation is that their website can be a little hard to navigate and find what you want quickly. Also, the photos accompanying the products are not always helpful. I have found in looking for other things that its often helpful to find exactly what I want on another website and then see if I can find the same thing on TigerChef.

My husband and I operate a private chef business and are looking to open a restaurant in the next 10 years.

Excellent service

I was really pleased with TigerChef. Not only did I easily find the products I was looking for at the best prices, including reasonable shipping rates, the customer service was phenomenal. David, the person I spoke to via live chat, answered all of my questions and even followed up with me the next day. He also checked in to make sure my shipment arrived, and I was so shocked that it came in just two days after ordering. The items I ordered were gifts for my Mom, and she was very happy! I would definitely order here again. Thanks!

Worst Experience Ever

This is hands down the worst company I have ever dealt with. Poor products and outrageous shipping prices(which do not arrive on time despite the added cost) Do not do business with them you will suffer from buyers remorse

Very Quick!

I ordered silverware for a banquet we had. The silverware come very quickly! However, I had ordered the wrong spoons. I was so worried that I would not be able to get the correct ones in time, but they arrived very quickly and in time for the banquet! I love how quick the shipping is. However, when I called customer service about having the wrong spoons, no one answered. I called multiple times, but no response. Other than that, I had great service and I am very happy with the product!
