Hi Sanjay,
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, and for buying our Branscombe canopy, as one of our more traditional designs I can only imagine that it has added charm to your home.
If you find a moment would you be willing to send us a picture of the canopy installed as we would love to showcase it on our social media, the Branscombe is a favourite amongst the team.
Abi is very happy with the mention!
Wishing you all the best, all of us here at George woods.

Hi Stephen,
Thank you so much for yor review, we are so happy to hear that you love the Ilfracombe door canopy.
We would love to see the finished spectacle if you have a spare moment to send us a picture :)
All the best from the George woods team.
Quality and workmanship
The brackets are ok and delivery was reasonable time.. however for the cost of the brackets I would have thought they would have been jointed rather than just screwed together ?

Thank you for the lovely review Edmund, also we really appreciate you tracking us down after 20 years to have the front A frame of your ashcombe, finial, pendant and cap replaced, we have always said that 20 years is the estimated lifetime of our products so long as they are looked after well, your canopy is proof of this.
Kindest regards from all of us here at George woods.
Can't rate this business highly enough
Can't rate this business highly enough. We had workmen in doing a new block paved driveway and as a result they had to take out our old front door porch support. We ordered the lovely Perrott Bracket as the replacement, and they were able to super helpfully deliver it within two working days so the workmen were able to install it for us on their last day on site. It looks lovely on the wall holding the porch up - we couldn't be happier with it!

Can highly recommend George Woods, who I found after researching for replacement Barge Boards. They (Abi ans Sally) were a pleasure to deal with and the boards were delivered to my exact specification and ready primed, at very fair prices!

Thank you for taking the time to give us a review, I am really glad that you found us and that we could supply you with the finial that you needed. Would you be able to send me a photo of the finished product in situ if you get a moment, we tend to have photos back of our brackets and canopies but it would be so nice to showcase the finials as well.

Really well priced excellent piece of wood work perfect for the job.
If I have one quibble, it’s simply I didn’t know when it was arriving so missed it three times as there’s no notification. That’s a whole star right there.
However, if you need a well made gallows bracket then here’s your place. Would love to think that everything they do is this well made.

Front door canopy
The whole process from placing order to delivery went very smoothly. My questions were quickly answered and the canopy arrived on time, and in good condition. Canopy was primed and undercoated so we were able to gloss the individual parts prior to it being assembled and fitted. Also bought fitting kit so everything was provided, but I am glad I had someone experienced to assemble and fit.
