We can't recommend Stephen Boyd at Athena Law highly enough. Having tried unsuccessfully to exit our timeshare since 2017 we decided to seek legal help after we received the threat of court action from our timeshare company's solicitors in October 2021. Wary of scammers, we looked online and came across Athena Law and Stephen, whose obvious knowledge of the timeshare industry was made plain by the excellent reviews he had received. We made contact, initially through Martin Clynes, who referred us to Stephen. We are so glad we made that call! We forwarded all the necessary information to him, although progress was hindered by the timeshare company's solicitors' tardiness. Stephen kept us informed during the whole process and was very professional, giving us help and advice where necessary. We are delighted to say that Stephen negotiated a deal to terminate our contract with the timeshare company and as of today, 30 June, 2022 the termination has been confirmed in writing! Martin Clynes rang me this morning about a matter that was really making me anxious.I only rang them two days ago, so they were very quick getting back. Martin really reassured me over the problem I had, I wouldn’t hesitate to ring them again for their advice.

Athena took on my parents case against Barclays to recover loan money for a timeshare mis-sold by Azure. They were very knowledgeable about how to make the claim and also get out of the existing contract. The case took a long time, but that was due to Barclays and the FCA taking their time. Athena supported us through the whole process and continually chased & kept us updated. Their rates were a non win basis and the % they took was lower than other companies were asking for. Both myself and my parents would definitely recommend them to handle your time share claim (they are genuine solicitors not the scammers that call up touting for business).
