The claims process is extremely slow

The claims process is extremely slow. We submitted the claim on the 9th March and were informed on 28th April that settlement was being made. I don't feel that 7 weeks is acceptable.

God Send

Unfortunately I found myself needing surgery on my knee. And having to have time of work, I contacted Trent for help, and they were extremely helpful and polite. Once all the initial forms were completed the payment was quick to follow, they even back dated my payments because the doctor was slow to do their bit of the form, they were an actual god send in an uncertain time of no sick pay...thank you

Medical illness insurance

I’ve been paying for the insurance for a number of years, this is for bring off work due to ill health and this’s the first time I’ve ever used it. The claiming process was made easy by the staff who were very helpful. The only thing I would say is I wish I’d paid more as my claim wasn’t enough to cover all my needs.

My dog has diagnosis hip dysplasia and…

My dog has diagnosis hip dysplasia and I have made claims for treatment with previous claim handler before with no problem at all.

However, for some reason claim handler changed to Trent Services and can’t think of anything positive to say, very difficult and disappointing.

So easy to deal with this company

So easy to deal with this company. I found my self in the unfortunate position of fracturing my wrist. Work doesnt pay enhanced pay just flat rate. This insurance policy is invaluable. Once the claim forms are submitted and the claim is agreed the payment arrives so quickly. Every month I was off once my continuation form was submitted payment was so quick no waiting around. The communication is so easy too and they respond in a timely manner. I really do recommend their services.

Very slow experience of settling…

Very slow experience of settling claims. The give you timeframes that they don’t work to.
Complaint in progress not yet heard back. Did not receive renewal policy’s.
Be aware when your dog reaches 7 you are expected to pay 25percent of the claim plus your excess

Example
Say bill is 500
25 percent 125 plus 150 excess =275 works out you are actually paying more than the insurance
I believe aswell it goes up again when dog is 12
I wasn’t aware of the 25 percent because I didnt receive policies
I had never made a claim on policy so when I initially telephone to claim I asked for an explanation of the process. It was discussed my excess would be taken but it was never discussed because he was 2 months over the age of 7 that I’d need to pay this additional 25percent

100% recommend!

I hadn’t had the insurance very long at all, then my puppy broke his elbow and needed surgery. I was really nervous that for some reason it wouldn’t be simple. However, the whole process from start to finish was so easy, the company representative I spoke to on the phone prior to the claim, was lovely and friendly and so reassuring. My link came by email, I filled in the required information, and within a matter of weeks had confirmation emails for both the main claim and continuation claim being accepted and paid! I would 100% recommend to friends and family. The process was so easy and straightforward, during a really stressful time. Couldn’t be happier with the service.

Hoops for nothing

Had a Tia , ended up off work for 3 months , contacted them , they asked for info on my wages , I sent everything through then told I’m not eligible for a payout because o was living off my pension , absolute lie , I’m self employed so I take money out of business when I need it , they then wanted my tax paperwork which I did not manage to get , so getting nothing from them , don’t know why they don’t have an amount they pay out weekly , I pay enough to have this insurance, last time I was off there was none of these excuses and they paid an amount weekly , I have had this insurance for a lot of years , I’m going to find a better company to take my money , also made me get a doctor report £50 then told me it’s not needed
