Like others I have had this a couple.of years and it was great . Beware the renewal process .... auto renewal / payment without warnings etc ...I am now stuck for another year !!!!
I have not received Channel 4 for months.... tried all the solutions .... none have worked says it all really . This is the response from customer services

Cleverly wording website !!!!! Poor uk expat .... poor .....

Their service used to work really well and for 2 years they provided excellent access to UK channels (with the occasional wobble). Since the beginning of the year, however, they were not able to bypass Channel 4's geo block. Until March, they responded to my customer service queries (very robotically), but since April, all my messages via website and direct email (around 8) remain unanswered.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
This company have deliberately denied me access to my account to cancel my subscription before renewal buy not responding to my password reset requests. Bizarrely, they confirm that I have made a number of attempts to gain access but cannot provide me with proof that they responded or that the password was reset as a result of one of these requests.
The service is not fit for purpose lots of channels are able to detect this VPN.
Use Surf Shark, as well as a VPN you get internet security too and all for only a few pennies more that EXPATVPN charge for just VPN.

Potential buyers - a warning!
App worked perfectly at first but having taken out a second 2-year subscription a number of TV channels became geo-blocked with the vpn. Customer services admitted that they had a problem and said it was being sorted. 3 months on and the problem remains. Point-blank refusal to partially refund long-term subscriptions and refusal to engage in my concerns. Meanwhile, this company continues to advertise and sell a defective product! A scam! Beware!

Rubbish!!!! They have taken an auto subscription without telling me for this year even though emailed them to say it wasn’t working and I tried to get it back without success so now trying to use it on another device since I have paid for it, can’t get in says password not correct. I have sent 6 emails to support and don’t get any answer. Help anyone please with a contact number or next steps before I take them small claims court. Regards

Do I have to give it one star. Up until the past couple of months this vpn had been working fine over a couple of years but has recently been failing to connect. Customer service very poor and the end of my patience is fast approaching.

Utter rubbish service,no access to content they promise 100% access to,complete waste of money.Avoid.

Service does not work, they refuse to refund based on loose terms and conditions.

Amazon app download page states service is “guaranteed”, this is a straightforward lie.

Do not deal with this gang of thieves. They claim a fantastic performance, however it doesn't work and customer service comprises of "we think it should work" ,it doesn't. AVOID!@!!!

Would give less than 1 star if it existed. Company used to be very good a couple of years ago, then it seems they may have changed ownership(?) but since the new logo change etc they have steadily gone downhill in the past year and now have hit rock bottom. None of the TV channels that they advertise to work with their vpn system actually work. All 4 went first, then ITV X and now BBC IPlayer. So I have paid for a year’s service that I have already cancelled but I will not get a refund. Time for me to move on to a reliable VPN service - of which there are plenty. Unfortunately UK Expat VPN is not one of them. Complete waste of money. Choose a different VPN provider.

Scammers, Avoid this company.
Channel 4 in the UK stopped working and the company said they couldn't do anything about it. Yet their website advertises that you can watch C4 from outside the UK with their VPN.
When my year ended I cancelled yet they still took the money for another year. I asked them to return my money and they refused.

Jennifer - aka robotic customer service - does not help. Service isn't working as promised, automated replies.
Last reply is no refunds, although not providing the service offered, as in the small print, Fox Systems does not warrant the services will be uninterrupted.
1st year it worked ok, but less than 4 weeks into the renewal, I have not had a full service, first it was ITV not working and now it is Channel 4.

Scammers. BBC Ipplayer does not work and they refuse to refund. I think 'Jennifer' is in fact a bot of sorts. 'Her' rude response was about an entirely different issue to mine. I am having to go via my bank to get a refund. Avoid!

Can't get channel 4. They keep saying the service works and give generic advice how to use the vpn. It doesn't
work! Channel 4 knows I'm not in the UK. Today the Jennifer told me that some users were experiencing problems with channel 4, they can't currently offer any further solution as it worked when they tested it... and thank you for my understanding. The only thing I understand is I've paid for a rubbish vpn that doesnt work. Today I paid for NORD vpn and channel 4 worked first time. They also change their app name to escape the awful reviews. My advice is choose one of the big named vpns.

Useless - locked in for 2 years and can’t get bbc or channel 4 despite them claiming all their servers are working

Wish I'd read the reviews before paying for a 12 month subscription.
I had used the service before and had no problems, this time however I've tried everything they have suggested and have still been unable to watch live ITV player. After a week of trying I've given up hope.
As the website states access is 100% guaranteed I wrongly assumed cancelling and get my subscription refunded would be easy, well it's not and now they've just stopped replying to me.
Just save yourself time and money and pick another provider.
To the service provider, stop telling me you've checked and the service works, it doesn't!
If you do reply and can get me connected I'll delete this review, if not please give me details of your complaints process so I can pursue my complaint.

Tried to cancel the automatic renewal and surprisingly they have charged us again. We haven't even used the service as its so bad. Doesnt work on any of our devices. Jennifer is just downright rude. Will not even offer a partial refund and email replies from them are very unprofessional. Will be raising a complaint.

Did anyone manage to find a phone number for them? I am currently in a fight with the infamous Jennifer because I have accidentally renewed twice, once on the automatic renewal (that I either forgot about or didn't know) and once manually (because the service wasn't available on my renewal date so I thought I couldn't access it because I needed to renew. Each time I explain it was my mistake, she just tells me no and points to the Ts and Cs. I absolutely would not have renewed for 2 years and even if I would have, I would have paid for the cheaper 2 year service and not 2 x 1 year. Shocking service. Have my money and couldn't give a hoot.
