My wife and I felt very welcomed and appreciated the entire voyage. The staff and crew were very polite and always wanted to help when necessary. The ship was very clean and the food was excellent every day.

It was our first Great Lake cruise. It was also our first small ship cruise. We enjoyed the itinerary, food and staff. All were great. We learned alot from the Lake lorian along the way. The weather happened to be great also. We got along with, and visited with many fellow passengers which made the trip more memorable.

We had a great trip. ROOMS: small but well designed. The shower was very small...a very large person would have difficulty showering. FOOD: really loved how you displayed the dishes prior to entering the dining room. As an American ship we would have enjoyed more dishes reflecting the heartland and Great Lakes regions to match our itinerary. STAFF: superior across the board. Wendy gave us personal help with airline passes and getting us off board early. Lots of help from the Purser's office. And our room steward was a gem. We learned a lot from our Lakelorian. TOURS: well planned and worthwhile. Included tour in Toronto missed the mark. Poor guide guide and market was disappointing. Many of the tours were rushed - ie: Niagara Falls, National park. As with every cruise we take what makes or breaks how we enjoy our time is the fellow travelers we meet. And we met many friendly people from all over the country willing to share their stories with us.

The staff on the Victory 11 were excellent, caring, professional, polite and very willing to please the guests. The meals were delicious, the room kept clean and the tours along with the tour guides were excellent as well.

The ship was great, the room adequate, the food gre help was outstanding! The young man who took care of our room was wonderful; his name is Julius. The wait staff in the Grill were so nice and helpful. I walk with a cane; they were always there to carry my plate. My coffee cup never had a chance to get empty; great service. I'd go on victory again!1

The crew is outstanding, the location (Great Lakes) is unique. I only wish we spent more daytime sailing the Lakes. Consider offering select cruises with more daytime sailing and fewer port hours. And turn the heat up in the Tavern. 😉

The service was great. Very informative. Some issues with transportation scheduling on the land. I would have like more time at Niagara Falls. I would definitely recommend the cruise to anyone interested in sailing the Great Lakes.

We really enjoyed the Victory I cruise. (A four star only because of the explanation below.) The staff was excellent, the food was excellent, every need onboard was met, the cruise ship was very clean, very tastefully decorated, we were spoiled. We had a couple of things that the staff took care of immediately and very graciously. The activities onboard ship were also very well done and enjoyed.

However. The only thing we were disappointed in was not seeing the Great Lakes themselves in cruising along. While it was fun to visit the ports of call, we would have loved to have seen coastlines and the vastness of the lakes. I guess we did not understand the nature of the cruise as the pictures depicting the cruise showed various scenes of coastlines.
A couple of suggestions: 1. Limit ports of call to morning hours only, allowing cruising in the afternoon and evening where we can see the glorious nature of the lakes. 2. Make sure your literature makes it very clear that the cruising is done at night, making it too dark to view the lakes and coastlines themselves. It is true that we saw the lakes from the ports of call, but that wasn't really any different from seeing much smaller lakes by cities.

Although we did enjoy the cruise and felt very spoiled on-board, we would not have chosen this cruise had we realized that the main events on the lakes were the ports of call. As this was a once-in-a-lifetime experience for us, we won't be able to make other arrangements in a cruise to see what we would have really liked to see.

What would be better is more paper communication than internet. Often find internet communication, esp with choices can be exceedingly stressful - or at least paper in addition.

Everything about our cruise was wonderful. The crew members were so nice helpful. Being on a cruise with fewer passengers was just right and the food was so good!!

The crew first and foremost! Then the cabins - very comfortable and clean!!

Staff, Food & travel was incredible! ery well done & could not say enough about your staff, food & drink!

On another note, we had issues in our room from day 1 - I reported to Julius, then to reception who sent an engineer to our room - problem never got resolved - the issue in Room 416 - at 6:30am +-, for about an hour, there is a horrible creaking sound every 10-12 seconds...it also happened at night between the hours of 9pm & 11:30pm

Other than that, the Cruise was Amazing!!!

Super service by a friendly staff.
Especially Alden in the dining room was fantastic.
Also the massage lady was superb.

The staff out did themselves. All very friendly and informative. Timing of off ship activities went pretty well except for the time the bus driver left without us. Food was tasty and variations' were pretty good I liked how the chefs incorporated many of the meals from previous menus. A bit lacking on things to do during downtime. Although, I have to admit communal puzzle table was a lot of fun, and new people to meet. We so enjoyed each and every port stop! Thank you for the adventures. I would definitely suggest this trip to my friends and family. Husband can't stop talking how great it was for him.!!
