Shocking service
I took out a contract with Vodafone for a new iPhone 15plus. Just after having the phone 2 weeks my volume button got jammed in. I then went into the Inverness branch and asked for advice as I had only just got the phone 2 weeks prior - I was told “what’s more of an inconvenience having to use the screen to turn down the volume or send it away for 3 weeks to get it fixed?” I was also told here to try a shop further along that does unauthorised Apple repairs. I decided to leave as I was having no luck. A week later I went back in and I spoke to Jack who apologised for the service I had on my last visit and if I came back on the 10th of April (today) once he returned from his annual leave he would swap the phone for a brand new one for me. I was happy with that response so l went back in today and was told by Lachlan that on my previous visit I was misinformed and they weren’t allowed to swap the phone as it had been over 30 days of me having it and it would have to go through Vodafone’s repair service and I would have to pay for it to be repaired out of my own pocket. The only reason it has went past the 30 days is because of being told to come back at a later date. Hopefully there’s a small chance I get get this sorted but I highly doubt it.
