Had my water rower for several years now with no issues whatsoever. Recently added the Comms module (Dec 22) which is great whilst using Asensei App but yesterday it stopped performing, following a 5min discussion on line trying all ways to repair it was deemed unrepairable and today a new replacement module was dispatched.

I've been burnt in the past on larger deliveries by faceless organisations but I am happy to say with Waterrower this was not the case. Smooth transaction with an excellent customer service team - very understanding - as I had to rearrange delivery twice, thanks to circumstances outside my control. The machine itself is better than expected and I used to be a member of a rowing club, so have tried out a few in my time. I can't fault it. Now looking at other products too I am that impressed. Very friendly, helpful staff.

I absolutely love my waterrower, beautiful craftsmanship and excellent customer service when I was being a bit of a dimwit with it, I was never a big one for excersise but was getting put of shape and quite fancied a rowing machine, my friend mentioned waterrower so gave it a go and I'm absolutely delighted with it and thoroughly enjoy my morning workouts which are definitely benefitting me greatly.

I've been indoor rowing for a little over 2 years. In that time I've lost about 18kg and gotten fitter than ever before in my life.
I've used about every rower you can think of and I rate the waterrower the highest by far. It has a smoother feel and more comfortable position that the C2 - as well as having the same or better data if you have the smart row.

I bought these online direct from Waterrower. They arrived quickly with no issues. The weights are a fantastic, high quality piece of kit which are ideal for home usage as they won't damage hard floors. They're well made, and blend in with my homes decor.

After WaterRower uk failing to respond to me time and time again, I was still stuck with a faulty rower. I finally got a call from Khalil apologising for the service received and asked me to let him send a replacement rather than sending the rower back for a refund. I foolishly agreed. Collection and delivery arrangements made for the coming Saturday. I packed the old one away to then be told they can’t collect the old one on a Saturday but will still deliver the replacement. So I waited in all Saturday and nothing. This was the final straw so I asked for the collection to be made and a full refund. To my surprise they did collect when agreed on sat 28th feb. But I’m sat here now 15th march still waiting for my £1169. No response on Facebook/email or telephone. If you’re considering purchasing from this company please think twice. I’m not a serial reviewer. This being only the 2nd review I’ve ever written and the first was also about this company. I’m genuinely gobsmacked by how appalling the service is. I will update here as and when I receive any further communication.

I have an old WaterRower. It needs some replacement parts so I have emailed them twice to request information about the cost, each time giving my details, model number etc etc. I have not had a reply on either occasion, which I gather from other reviews is a common experience. I am really disappointed that they do not put the same effort into customer service as they do in the flashy website. This is not a good way to establish brand loyalty

I’ve had my water rower for 15 years. I’ve used it a lot in that time! And have loved it! However! However! I have repaired the tank twice successfully in that time and it leaked for a third time last year! I sent for a sealant kit which is a two pack and the kit was faulty! The two compounds in the syringe didn’t amalgamate simultaneously and failed to set! Water rower to be fair sent me another sealant kit. The same thing happened! I went to a local aquarium and bought and used a fish tank sealant but other issues with the recoil have occurred so I’m unable to use the machine at all! I’ve tried to get in touch with the technical team for help. Again to be fair I have had one reply with advice which ive taken onboard but which didn’t address the problem. I’ve sent videos and photos but can’t get to talk to anyone or get a response! The people who work at Waterrower are great ;when you can get hold of someone which , unfortunately is painfully difficult to do! Their website is full of video links and information which is fine but sometimes problems occur which require a verbal discussion and which their technical help links just don’t address! You used to be able to talk to someone at Waterrower! You can’t now! Think very carefully about purchasing one of these machines. They’re beautiful and when they work are fantastic but beware as customer service is not what it once was!

Quite poor workmanship on the bluetooth attachment. It doesn't stay attached and will fall out each time it is moved. You have to remove the battery compartment cover in order for it to plug in. I was able to get it to work with rowing apps which was good. But it is not a well thought out piece of equipment.

The rower is excellent - great action and in a different world aesthetically from the Concept2 type option. I bought a new heavy duty footplate to replace the standard one where the pegs had worn away and constantly slipped. It is a big improvement and I don’t understand why it isn’t standard as it is so much more robust. The only minor issue has been with the Bluetooth unit that can glitch. Very pleased and would certainly recommend.

The stuff ordered has turned up promptly enough, but my attempts to contact customer service have so far failed miserably. I have no idea how to contact customer service successfully.

Well made product. The machine is well put together and looks nice. I used to row at an amateur club and I have found the WaterRower the closest thing to real rowing on dry land (full rowing tank excepting). The quiet swooshing of the water is quite pleasant and much better in a domestic setting than a noisy air fan machine.

After over 20 years of almost daily use, rowing 5 miles, my old WaterRower finally sprung a small leak and I decided to replace it. The new one is every bit as good as the original and I imagine it will last just as long, though at the age of 70 I don't expect I'll be around to see the next leak. These machines may look expensive, but when you take account of the use you get out of them, they're incredibly cheap.

I purchased a water rower original series in ash with S4 performance monitor, assembly was fine and it works well, but I am disappointed by the fit and finish. The piece in front of you that your feet go on is misaligned at the top and there are patches which didn't get covered by Danish oil, also some areas of end grain on the machine are quite rough to the touch. I expected it to be finished nicely considering the huge premium pricetag. A potentially lovely machine let down by poor quality control and just leaves me a little disappointed.

We are very satisfied with our purchase. Rower arrived quickly and was easy to assemble by following the instructions sent. Quality piece of equipment and using regularly (in my case using with the additional phone cradle I purchased and Apple fitness rowing workouts).

Great to be still able to obtain replacement parts for my 15 year old Water Rower!

I had been researching rowing as a means of keeping fit and healthy since the spring of this year. As i don’t have a rowing club that is reasonably near (1.5 hrs travel each way) i decided to look at the other options.
There are a whole host of options available but what swung me to WaterRower was the simplicity of design, solid construction along with the sound of water and resistance of the water whilst exercising.
I also purchased the heart rate monitor + antenna and the bluetooth ComModule to keep an eye on my old ticker and to transmit data to a rowing app.
All in, very pleased.

i concur with other 2 star reviews about after sales. i needed a replacement programmer, which was provided relatively easily. but you've got to dismantle so much of the machine to fit the programmer including a 'coil' or 'spring' that is really hard to get to. in struggling with all of this i leaned the WR over to one side to get purchase, causing the tank to split - so i now have a leaky rower. WR don't offer a re-sealing service (used to at a cost of £125
- expensive plus you need to dismantle and get the tank couriered off to them - so not hassle free) but they have withdrawn it) - so i am left with options of lots of DIY and resealing myself or buying a new tank (also fitting it - more DIY). if you are considering an ergo, the WR looks lovely, but lots of long term issues with it quite honestly. if you don't mind the look i would go with the obvious competitor
