I have filled out, in detail, three internal WestBow surveys about the egregious treatment I received during my publish process... there has yet to be a human being contact me to even offer apologies, let alone try to make it right. I have spent $13,000 to publish this book... to date, I have had to design and format my own cover design, do my own advertising/marketing and leave incessant messages for their "department heads" to even return phone calls and emails. The quality of my book is superb, which is why they do not get zero stars, but I am just a number in a system that is diligently trying to access my wallet with now return benefit. There are literally hundreds of publishers who would appreciate you choosing them... you should choose them.

The quality of the final print is good. However, the overall service was a bit disappointing: First of all, the timing was not quite right. While I appreciate that the book was released immediately after Christmas, it took more than a month for me to receive my copy. The advertising materials are still not delivered. By the time I receive them the campaign to launch the book will be already faded out. A better coordination would be important. In regards to the promised web site for the book, it is also still undelivered, and it has been approved a while ago.
Were it not for the timing problem, my rating would be much higher. This is the second book I have published with WestBow, and while they are a bit more expensive than others, their services so far had been good.

Through Westbow Press, meticulous coaches and skillful progress through out each sectors were enough to give me confidence and proud to publish my book here.

When I initially completed my book in 2016, I was encouraged to self-publish to save money and reap most of the royalty benefits. However, in my search for a reliable self-publishing company, I found many of them to be like car salesman or street vendors of knock-off products. I got very discouraged because I didn’t feel any credibility in many of them and my book sat for a few years.

Given my book’s importance to Christianity, I prayed to the Lord Jesus and asked him to help me find a publisher with CREDIBILITY. That same day, he allowed me to stumble upon HarperCollins, which I knew was respectable. I found they were affiliated with Thomas Nelson who makes bibles! Then, I find Thomas Nelson has a self-publishing division called WestBow Press!

I called WestBow Press that same day on April 19, 2022! No hard sell, no smooth, slick talking selling points. Just extremely professional, knowledgeable publishing information that made for an easy decision to choose WestBow Press and I was on my way to being published!

In answer to my prayer, isn’t this just like my book: This was the Lord’s doing and it’s marvelous in our eyes? Mark 12:11

From April 2022 to my publishing date of January 5, 2023, the collective work of the whole WestBow Press staff from every department was Excellent, Highly Professional, Timely and most of all COURTEOUS! It made for a seamless publishing experience for a first-time writer who now feels like an author!
