We recently had a malfunction with our electric gate. I am pleased to say that after the owner at Westcountry Group was made aware of the issue, the problem was quickly resolved to our satisfaction.

The gate itself is fantastic. Very stylish, extremely quiet. It’s exactly what we needed.

It’s so popular with all who live here, that I have just placed an order for an automatic pedestrian gate.

Having had a pair of softwood gates gradually succumb to rot, we chose their replacement in sustainable hardwood from West Country Gates. The design, finish, heavy-duty galvanised accessories and fitting were all excellent and the cost reasonable. The company were very easy to deal with and I can recommend them highly.

What an amazing service. From Paul the owner coming out to quote to the install and testing the service was absolutely outstanding. The guys fitting the gates were amazing highly professional and nothing was too much trouble for them The even put my new letter box on the wall. I would recommend these guys to anyone . My experience with purchasing a gate. The fitting and after care have been excellent. When discussing my requiriements initally over the telephone with Jane I found her informative and honest managing expectations. Then after a site survey she regularly kept me up to date with my order prior to fitting.
When the gate was fitted the two fitters were very hard working, polite and most importantly did a brilliant job. A few weeks after fitting the gate slipped slightly so I was unable to lock the gate with the bolt. I contacted the firm and within a couple of days they returned and sorted the issue without fuss.
All in all a very good experience.

We had a new driveway and pedestrian gate installed at out property. Great gates and installation and really pleased with everything.

This is a second time we've had to seek help. On both occasions the response was splendid. 1st was an own goal on my part. 2nd a visitor must have nudged a sensor. On both occasions the WCG team was effiicient, friendly and sorted out the problem. Very pleased.

Our electric gates were supplied new 6 years ago and have operated exactly as required. This service was carried out by Josh clearly experienced and ready to listen although there were no problems needing attention. Very happy with the gates and the service. Good to deal with.

Great job diagnosing our gate malfunction, quickly ordering parts, installing them and getting the gates working again. Josh and Diane were both fantastic - top notch service!

We had our gates automated 5 years ago and have only had to call West Country out twice to service the mechanism. The gates had stopped working properly this time, so Josh came and discovered a sensor battery needed replacing. Although it was something I could have done myself, while he was here, he carried out a full service, cleaning and lubricating all the moving parts. Josh was punctual, friendly and helpful with all my questions. Overall the cost of the visit was well worth the money.

Designed and installed a sliding gate on a large industrial site fitted with intercom, remote access and a gate loop. Good communication throughout and an exceptionally good team on the installation.
