The fastest movers in the West Country. What can I say, these are the most cheerful bunch of chaps who can’t do enough to help. They moved everything really quickly and doubled checked everything was in the right place before
They left. We had thought of moving ourselves but really glad we booked these guys.

Ricky came out to quote, explained everything and was great! Moving day, couldn’t have asked for an easier move! Jordan and Sean were great! Came in and got the job done! Quick and smooth from start to finish. Lovely, polite and extremely helpful! Thank you very much!

Moving team arrived on schedule and even though a mis-communication during quote stage, the move went without a hitch. Nice chaps and looked after our stuff. Whatever they get paid, they deserve a raise!
Recommended and if we move again, they will be the first company to call.

The team turned up and made light work of our move polite and respectful throughout I wise very please with how efficient they were and nothing was too much great service from enquiry to move strongly recommend them

The whole process went smoothly and every interaction was pleasant. From the detailed quote, to the moving day. The movers were on time, lovely people who went above and beyond to get all of our times from one place to another safely. They were patient and professional.

Ricky and his removal guy did an amazing job from initial contact right through to the moving day. They handled our stuff with ease and ensured protection of my property throughout the process.
They couldn't have done anything any better and delivered the service they said they would and all at an amazing price.
Hopefully I never have to use them again as I hate moving house. But if I do move again I will definitely be coming back to West Country Movers and I highly recommend them to anyone.
They just took a huge amount of stress away from me and just got on and got the job done.

We were so impressed with the whole moving experience from West Country Movers. The administrative staff were extremely helpful and gave us much useful advice. The packers and movers were outstanding - quick, efficient, courteous and highly professional. Not a single item was damaged which was much appreciated. Communication terrible unless it’s referring to money.
Agreed to full packing, asked for boxes so that we could start packing some things early. These were eventually dropped off after chasing and chasing. The boxes were flat packed but they didn’t leave any tape! Asked them to drop some in and they said they would, chased many times and then told after another week that they can’t!
I have no issue with the guys that packed and moved us apart from a couple of breakages which they were completely honest about. Unfortunately, the same honesty doesn’t apply to the manager.
They contacted him immediately whilst moving us to explain about a broken picture glass. They assured me the manager would contact me the next day to sort it out. I was happy with this and paid the bill in full when the move was completed.
Over a month later, I have still heard nothing. I emailed the manager to which he claims he knew nothing about this and I would need to send a photo of the damaged item. I explained that the item had been thrown away as I was not asked to keep it by the removal staff as they had obviously seen it and reported it. I requested a payment of £25 to cover the cost of replacing the breakage and have not had the courtesy of a reply (no surprise, their communication has been appalling throughout).
Considering the amount we paid to them, I don’t consider £25 much to ask to put things right, hence this review.
When you are in a service industry you are judged by how you rectify things. It’s all very easy when nothing goes wrong but when it does, that’s when customer service is measured.
I had my doubts before the move due to the poor communication and broken promises.
Any company that would rather have bad reviews and not care about a customer or their possessions for the sake of £25 speaks volumes.
Moving house is a stressful enough time without having it made worse by companies like this.
There are plenty of other companies out there to use before this one, they don’t deserve your business.

The guys were great, made the move seem easy and enjoyable. Really friendly too. A very positive experience.

All staff were polite and helpful.
Young lady who came to give quote asked really useful questions.
The packing and move were done very efficiently but with care.
The empty boxes have also been collected, which is a big plus point.

I cannot say enough about West Country removers. Absolutely brilliant. They picked up my ask at extremely short notice, Ricky and Jordan were professional from the word go. Turned up exactly as they said, set to work beautifully were respectful and considered and between the two of them handled heavy chunky bits of furniture with ease and clearly immense experience. They just ticked all the elements of professionalism, ability and excellence. First class.

The team delivered packing materials when they said and turned up on the morning of the removal promptly. They worked so hard, despite the awful weather! Couldn’t fault them. Thanks all!

If I could give more than 5 stars for this company I would!! We asked them to do our removals but the time between exchange and completion on the properties was 5 weeks. During that time my husband entered a hospice on end of life care and I stayed with him. Our adult children took on the removal. This company were fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble. They were friendly efficient and just quite frankly awesome in very difficult circumstances. If you are reading these reviews and have not yet booked a company go with westcountrymovers. I moved from Weston super mare to Weymouth on the 31st October they arrived on time were so polite and friendly the move was effortless they loaded two vehicles it was organised and very professional and when they got to Weymouth they loaded it in to a storage unit no stress no hassle.l recommend this company to everyone a thoroughly professional service.

We recently used West Country Movers for our local house move and they were really fantastic from start to finish. The team was incredibly efficient—everything was loaded and ready to go in no time. They were also very friendly and approachable, which made the whole process feel so much smoother and less stressful. Even though we experienced delays the whole team maintained their good humour and professionalism late in the day.
