AWFUL SERVICE - AVOID
Firstly WH Cox increased their quote, just days before the job, leaving us with little choice but to swallow the additional cost. WH Cox then subcontracted our removal to a different company without letting us know. The team who arrived on the day were surly and not prepared to carry out the job that we had been quoted for. We had been quoted for a full pack service but on arrival, the rude team leader told me that if I did not pack the kitchen myself they would not be able to do the job. They did not complete the job and left us to transport much of the shed contents, without a plausible explanation.
When moving us into our new home, the same surly team leader was present and they did not take notice of the box labels but just left boxes where they could easily put them to leave the job as quickly as possible.

First Class Job.
My other half and I used cox when we sold both our houses and bought our first home together. On moving day we had a giant lorry each at 8am and both houses were packed up by 1pm. If it wasn’t for the delay caused by the solicitor then we would have been in and done 3hrs earlier. As it was the lads worked their socks off till 8.30 in the evening. Even though it was late their professionalism did not waiver. They were careful with all our possessions and our lovely oak floor in the new house. They were curtious,polite and very friendly on what could have been a very stressful day. We have no hesitation in using them in the future or recommending to anyone. A truly first class job. Very pleased with the removal company. Did what they said
They did what they said they would do within reason. By that I mean that they turned up on time; 4 men came which was what was promised and 2 vehicles which was sufficient. The packer also came on time and did an excellent job. We were literally moving around the corner, less that half a mile but the stuff was all packed and would have gone 300 miles safely. One mishap occurred on the day but everything else went fine. I got it put right for £20. And they repaid me. Men worked very hard and it is not easy work. The man who packed the lorry did a superb job. Would recommend.
