I've been using Wickes regularly for the past three years, and I can honestly say I've only ever had positive experiences.
The whole team are consistently friendly, helpful and professional, creating a welcoming atmosphere every time I visit.
A special thank you has to go to Ollie and Victoria, who always go above and beyond to help. Nothing ever seems too much trouble, and they genuinely make the effort to ensure customers are looked after.
The wider team deserve recognition too , whether it's helping locate stock, checking out the back when shelves are running low, or simply offering service with a smile, everyone is polite and eager to help.
The store is clearly well run, well stocked, and the staff take pride in what they do.
The weekend team are equally fantastic , always approachable, kind and professional.

I ordered deck boards for click and collect. On arrival I realised I’d ordered the wrong size, Sophie was really helpful and quickly swapped them over. No fuss, really efficient, a credit to the store and Wickes customer service

Asked why when i could order online again and it says next day delivery was told they cut off deliveries for next day at 3pm- their websites states 6pm! also had previous orders from them ordered past 3 and they've come next day. wont be ordering again from them why state next day delivery if its not going to come until 4 days later

Visited Wickes on Bank Holiday Monday and was really impressed with the experience. Even though the store was busy, the staff stayed friendly, patient, and very helpful throughout. Sophie, I think she was called, helped me find everything I needed on my list and made the whole shopping trip much easier.
The store was well organised, shelves were fully stocked, and prices were reasonable. The lady who served me at the till wearing a pink hi-vis was also very friendly and funny, which made the visit even more enjoyable. Checkout was smooth despite the holiday rush, and the customer service really stood out. A really positive visit overall — I’ll definitely be returning for future DIY projects.

Not impressed as I phoned them up as I was looking for kitchen top or the best shelving and wanting a piece 165.5 or 167 cm x 50 x 4 cm thick cut size now I’ve been told that they do the Service and the lady on the phone told me they don’t and I should go and shop elsewhere and that’s for laminate waterproof type stuff you know

I had a great experience speaking with Sharon over the phone. She was extremely helpful, professional, and knowledgeable when providing information regarding deliveries for one of my customers. Sharon took the time to answer all of my questions clearly and made the whole process much easier. She is also very friendly and welcoming in person, which makes every interaction a pleasure. The other staff in store are also always helpful, polite, and provide excellent customer service. Very much appreciated.

Went in today to purchase some plants. Ruby on the tills was absolutely fantastic and helpful we managed to find out when the next delivery was. I also witnessed her serving another customer who also complimented her.

Unfortunately, having had an initial good service on sale the parts of the order then did not turn up. I called the store and was assured they would call customer service and call me back. I explained it was urgent as I had the builders needing to put in the drains. I did not get the call back. I went to the store found the part and requested I pick up the part and do not deliver the missing part. This was not possible in store even though I brought the product in store I waited and waited for the staff to call customer service. And resolve the issue. Sharon the manager was incredibly poor solving a very simple problem. She claimed collecting and cancelling the order from the warehouse was not an option she knew about. Management is about solution finding . The constant blaming of company procedures in front of a customer is very poor. When I explain this she got offended. The experience was over half an hour and even when the solution I offered was excepted by the customer service the manger appear unwilling to implement it. I. The end I had to explicitly ask whether I was waiting endlessly for internal process to work and was it necessary given it had been agreed that there was availability for me to pick up the part. It created a distrust for the process and resorted in me not placing a 2k Oder that I was going to do. Reliabity is everything and I dislike staff complaining about company processes in front of me I suggests difficulties in company culture.

Had a great experience with our solar panels design and installation. Becky-Anne Williams from Exeter was excellent in working out what was needed and designing the set up.
Scaffolding up and installers were out within a couple of weeks and it was done. Working great. I didn’t need to lift a finger.

Fairly decent prices with a trade account. But the delivery service from Exeter is absolutely awful. I've had many deliveries over the past 18 months and multiple have been poor. You book and pay for a slot, but they sometimes don't turn up, or there's often items missing that the delivery driver won't or can't sort. No proactive help so then you're forced into customer services. And there are sometimes no redelivery slots available for them to correct their errors until days later. Most recent experience was yesterday when they forgot to put items on the van and several phone calls later the next delivery slot was in two or three days' time. No offer of delivery cost refund either. Overall, I'd recommend looking elsewhere as it's clearly a recurring issue. For a 'Trade' account it means jobs have to be delayed.
