Wickes - Guildford Reviews

Sorting out a problem quickly, efficiently and politely is the mark of really good customer service. Michelle at the Guildford store (and her online customer service colleague prior to that) resolved a product return/refund issue easily and positively this morning. It was a pleasure talking to you - thank you for your help.

Really happy with Wickes customer service. Bought tube light and one component was missing. Michelle (Guildford branche) solved it within 30 seconds. All good!

Having ordered a large quantity of materials online for a project, I then had to return what I hadn’t used. Had to do so in 3 trips. Despite being the end of what I can assume were long days, I found all the staff I dealt with to be helpful, knowledgeable and with a can-do attitude. The returns were super easy to make with the payments returned swiftly. Definitely took some of the stress out of the project.

We’ve been super impressed by the bespoke bathroom service at Wickes. We dealt with Jena at the Guildford branch who is not only friendly and lovely to deal with, but also very efficient and responsive! She instantly understood what we wanted and we had very few changes to make to the design she presented us with which was very impressive! She was also a huge hit with our one-year old who had to tag along to our apts which made things much easier too. Thank you so much to Jena for such a great experience!

Sian and Michelle were very helpful and a good customer experience when I visited the Guildford branch yesterday buying the product that I needed.

Excellent service in store Thursday. Great atmosphere and made to feel valued.

Great customer service - helpful advice and knowledgeable staff especially Michelle and Leona. Would recommend

Michelle was extremely helpful and took the time to explain the various options to me.

Jack at the Guildford branch went above and beyond in helping with my coping/edging purchase. They were heavy pieces, and he helped load them onto the trolley and even load from the trolley into my car.

Hi,

I want to thank Michelle at Wickes Guildford for her exceptional customer service every time I have visited this branch.

On one occasion, she had just finished her shift and assisted me in the click and collect aisle.

This was very kind of her and much appreciated as well.

Thank you again.

Kind regards,

Imran

I visited this store to collect some storage boxes ordered online and the staff were so lovely and friendly when I collected them.
The lovely gentleman who went to fetch the boxes for me even brought them out to my car and helped me get them in.
Thoroughly recommend this branch. Everything went perfectly.
Many thanks to Michelle who helped me with my order too. What a helpful team!! Great job Wickes!!

Purchased some lights, and a fan, and was served by a wonderfully delightful young lady called Michelle, she was polite, professional, and served me very quickly.
Its always a pleasure, never a chore, shopping at Wickes Guildford...

Been using Guildford Wickes for years and customer service is always polite, there is always someone to help you no matter how silly question is. Michelle was very helpful today.

Went on Saturday night to get some items. Spent time talking to the lovely girls there. Was served by Kirsty and we had a lovely chat. Great service by everyone

Staff were friendly, happy and helpful

Steve was helpful and friendly

I was picking up 4 18mm 2440mm x 1220mm plywood sheets on my own and knew I was going to struggle getting into the van. Sian very kindly helped me put them in there and saved me a lot of time! Thank you!

Great service both at the till and especially from Steve who helped me unload my purchases into my car and couldn’t have been more helpful.
I usually dread going into a store primarily used by tradesmen but the whole experience couldn’t have been better
