Wickes - Leicester Wigston Reviews

Hello Wickes Team,
On behalf of Indie Education, I want to extend our heartfelt thanks for your generous donation of tools to support our Garden Project. Your contribution will make a meaningful difference to our learners, giving them the opportunity to work hands‑on, build confidence, and take pride in creating and nurturing a space of their own.
Your support helps us provide real‑world learning experiences that strengthen wellbeing, skills, and community connection — and we are truly grateful for your kindness.
Thank you once again for investing in our young people and for being part of something that will grow far beyond the garden itself.
Warm regards,
Ryan Seal

A big thank you to Ben, the store manager at Wickes Wigston, for gifting our CIC two secure door locks. This means safer rooms, protected equipment, and more security for the women and families who use our space every single week.

Community support like this is what keeps grassroots projects alive and we’re really grateful.

Thank you, Ben.

I was making a delivery to this store, it was 5pm and the fork lift driver Scottish Gordon went out his way to unload me when many would have said no!! was absolutely brilliant and a privilege to meet, wish all the fork lift operators were like him, 5 star ⭐️

I popped in to the shop today to grab some tiles but wasn’t sure of which adhesive to go with and the store staff were excellent with their time and advice. The store was clean and easy to shop, the till staff, I think his name was Gordon (?!) was friendly and helpful. Fantastic experience from a rookie DIY-er!

Excellent customer support from Jade at the Wigston Wickes Branch.
Thank you for a wonderful shopping experience Jade and assisting me during my home renovations process.

We applied for the Wickes Community Programme for our school. Ben from the Wickes store in Wigston, Leicester emailed within a couple of days inviting me in to store to choose what we wanted. He kept me informed via email throughout and when I eventually went in store, the advisor who served me gave great service. I will definitely use this store again. Thank you.

Kibworth 1st Scouts would like to thank Wickes for there amazing donation. We were kindly gifted garden tools as part of the community project fund ran by Wickes. The tools are amazing quality, and will be used as part of our allotment project with children with squirrels, beavers, cubs and scouts.

The staff here are extremely helpful. I asked for a donation for our local school raffle and they couldn’t do anymore to assist. Great community spirit. Thanks all.

Anil made our dream bathroom into a reality. Anil came to our home, we gave him vision of what we wanted, he went back with the measurements and created an AI vision of what we wanted. Everything he chose we bought because it was what we explained and he got it right first time! Anil remained in communication and explained how everything works from the delivery, how to get help if anything is wrong and on going support throughout the project. We have since recommended Anil's expertise to others and will be returning to Anil when we want our kitchen completing!

We recently undertook a refurbishment of our EYFS area, and the support we received from Wickes was absolutely invaluable.

Ben and his team were nothing short of brilliant. They were incredibly cooperative, demonstrating deep knowledge and a consistently solution-focused approach to every challenge. Their assistance has had a huge, positive impact on our school community.

We couldn't recommend them more highly!
